Its not far from Oslob and much lower price. Stay here if you are going to see the whales. Staff give 110% in everything! They provided snorkle, mask, fins, swiming vest and information about the marine reserve right in front of the hotel! Walk down the steps and snorkle...almost right from your room! Picked up some octupus and shrimp and staff cooked it up for us! Customised free breakfast to our American taste buds! Let us slide a table and chairs into our room from the restauraunt outside our door. Super clean, quiet and fantastically priced!

We stayed here in May while travelling the Philippines and it was so bad we checked out early. The hotel is still under construction- there are no hotel facilities eg pool, bar, restaurant or anything you’d expect from a ‘resort’. All they have is a water cooler. The room was clean but the shower was just a pipe coming out of the wall and an old grubby bath mat. The furniture is dated. The breakfast was very poor. It is between the towns of bolijoon and Oslob but not close enough to walk to either for food or drink. We paid extra for a balcony but what we got was actually just an external walkway in front of all the rooms. To put the cherry on top they asked us to pay an additional 330 pesos for a ‘tax’ when we left because we had booked through booking.com, when we questioned why we had to pay that they suddenly couldn’t speak English so we paid to just get out of there. Avoid this place - stay at Nordzee up the road instead

This is what Filipino hospitality should be. I feel at home here and the service is excellent. I will visit them again soon. My Son and his friends have to sleep her because they were not welcome in the resort we stay. In stead of us they get a good meal even the kitchen was already closed. They feel welcome👍

What can I say...I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. So much so that I want to go again. Though not a 5 star hotel (and 5 star was where I was headed next), it was definitely 5 star service with 5 star views. We stayed in the family room and this was extremely spacious. There was also complimentary Netflix (I know u wouldn't need these on holidays but it comes in handy and was great for the kids when we were in the room. The bathroom was a little narrow, but still very nice and exceptionally clean. We were greeted with a bout of sweet aroma when we first entered the bathroom provided by an air diffuser, so the bathroom presented a nice scent upon arrival. Bonus was that there was indeed hot water and controlled by a modern flexitap. The hot showers were perfect after our days of swimming with sharks and canoneering (jumping off cliffs into the water ). These were activities suggested by our driver (who I also highly recommend). It was not something we planned but something we definitely enjoyed and were happy to experience. The hotel can help you with all that at the front desk with their packages. Breakfast was prepared according to our schedule (even at a 4am start!). It was then left ready for us on the balcony. The staff would personally come to your door and knock to let you know that breakfast was waiting for you. Additionally, the hotel organised a hairdresser, manicurist and masseur for us upon my request. As these services were not available at the hotel, they organised this from the a nearby town (20 mins away) and came after we returned from our activities (which was at 8pm at night). Would definitely recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a place to stay in this area. It was very well priced and a pleasure to stay in. They are also available via chat on their facebook page which is great if you have any questions. P.S They said an infinity pool will be completed by March 2019 which has me planning to return.
