My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at Casita de Maya. The ambience was quiet, relaxing and inviting. The room was lovely. We met so many wonderful people at the hotel (both staff and guests). This will be our “go to” hotel when we make it back to Cozumel. 5 stars!

This was our second time at Casita De Maya. It was just as good, if not better than the first. The rooms comfortable, the food outstanding and the other guests fun. It feels as if your staying with friends. Daniel cooked for us almost every night. We ordered items off the menu and they were wonderful. We have homemade Tamales, Sopes, and Pazole. Best food on the Island. Thank you. The only criticism I had was the lack of lounge chairs by the pool, the pool was very chilly (maybe a heater), and smoking was allowed. We would definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

We have been coming to Cozumel since 2014 and have stayed at the Casita de Maya every time. We have seen the place grow from one to three stories and have preferred room #6 on the second floor after its completion in 2015. It sits in the corner and has its own private terrace where we drink our morning coffees and our afternoon G&Ts. We have sung the praises of the Casita on previous occasions (see entries of …. Dates) and are pleased that in that regard nothing has changed. Dan, Daniel, Jolie, and Eduardo continued to take good care of us and I’m sure will still be there when we return the next time. Thanks – it was a pleasure as always!

This classic and unique hotel was a must for cozumel. The whole place is built with style and kept emasculate and clean. I stayed on the 2nd floor and grew fond of the open format. Make sure to head to the top and check out the view. All the staff was kind and helpful. Dan the owner will guarantee have you feeling at home. I thought the location was perfect. Across the street from the airport and equal distance to every part of the island. Super enjoyed not being stuck in the down traffic. Enjoy everyone!

The photos of Casita de Maya are beautiful, indeed, but they don’t begin to convey the warmth of the owner, Danny, his top-notch chef, Daniel, and his staff, the lovely Jolie and Eduardo, who all embrace you with their generous spirit and thoughtful touches. My husband and I returned yesterday after a far-too-short 5 day Getaway and we’re already making plans to return. Soon! Daniel made our two favorite dishes: ceviche and lobster. I challenge anyone to find a fresher, tastier version than his. It is incomparable. We rented a dune buggy (which Danny helped arrange) and explored the island alone one day, which was a blast, but we really enjoyed joining them for a family style dinner together with their children in some place whose name I can’t remember (they have beet tapas and

A true hidden gem! Stayed with Dan (the owner) at the casita, numerous times and it has never disappointed! Beautiful rooms and very modern but the whole place is totally CHILL,,,perfect for Cozumel! The entire small staff is wonderful, accommodating and will bend over backwards to help with whatever you may need! If you want loud music, rude staff, nonstop partying , this is NOT the place,,,,this is Chill Heaven and I can't wait to return! Thanks Dan!!!!

I recently stayed at Casita de Maya for an extended stay as I was in the process of taking some time off for a relaxing getaway. I noticed that they had a small single type apartment setting with a Terrace for me to have a little privacy while in Cozumel. The staff here are just wonderful. Jolie and Eduardo, who keep the hotel spotless and very well maintained, took care of all of my needs during my stay. Daniel, the excellent chef here, makes excellent breakfast, and dinners that I really enjoyed. It was nice to have a TV with a Roku and free Wi FI, along with a fridge and a microwave and free fresh drinking water. Coffee was served fresh every morning. Dan the proprietor was very kind and friendly who always pointed me in the right direction. A great place to stay and chill.

I love this place! It feels like home. Had a more than amazing time with my wife. They bent over backwards to make us feel at home. Love the doggies! We almost took Chocolate home but whiskers and Freddy were great to. We'll be back in February guys. Coming for Daniels margaritas and salsas. This guy is an amazing cook and made us his family as well. This will be a yearly stop for sure. Thanks Dan, see you in a couple months!

What can I say about this place? 1st I can say that I could not pass up staying here after reading the reviews, once our flight changed dates. 2nd I can say I AM SO GLAD WE DID! My husband and I absolutely loved staying here, so much so that my husband and I came back 2 other times during our trip to just eat, have a drink or hang out with everyone after we checked into our new hotel. Yes, we loved it and the staff that much! Dan took amazing care of us, answered every question and knows so much about the area and is willing to point you toward anything you want to do. The location is safe, we felt fine walking around and venturing out on our own. Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, well fed and had whatever we wanted to drink or eat, even
