I was a little hesitant because the pictures did not look as nice as some of the other places in the area and the amenities seemed limited but I am SO GLAD we stayed here! The suites are very spacious for two people, there is cleaning every third day I think (?) during COVID, but I think if you ask they can do it every day. The pool is small but super cute and very clean. The garden is gorgeous - lots of different plants and flowers and little artsy knick knacks. I loved working on my laptop from there. Wifi was great.

The kitchen is kind of basic so I wouldn't count on making hot meals, but there is a grill I saw people using. And there is coffee in the reception in the morning that you can pour for yourself. There are lots of little local art touches throughout the apartment, made made want to visit the gallery they advertise but I didn't have time. The location is super central, you can walk to a ton of restaurants, cafes, the boardwalk, etc. For an extra fee you can park in the neighbors parking lot.

The only negative was that the stained glass window lets a lot of light in an night and there's not way to cover it - it was a little hard to sleep but eventually I got used to it.

The ladies at the front desk are so warm and welcoming - always suggesting ways they could help, like calling a taxi company and telling me how much I should be charged. I was mostly here for scuba diving but I feel like they could have helped me find things to do also had I had more time. Definitely staying here if when come back!

Nice little oasis in the middle of a busy town. Very quiet, but very close to great restaurants, ATM (Santander Bank). The busy waterfront area is only a block away. We were offered off-street parking for about $4/day, worth it.

I decided to try a different hotel for our annual dive trip to Cozumel. It was recommended by some divers that we met a few years ago. We stayed for 9 nights.

The location is excellent within easy walks of dozens of restaurants. We particularly enjoyed New Especias for Italian, Casa Cuzamil for their 'comida del dia', Kondesa for an upscale dining experience, Burrito Gordo for quick a post-dive lunch and Cerveceria Punta Sur for really tasty pizza.

Initially I found the two-level room to be a bit quirky but I soon grew to enjoy it. Outside the room were two comfortable seating areas where we could read or chat with other guests. A propane BBQ is available that we didn't use but we saw others cooking with it. Kitchen tools and spices were provided. We did use the refrigerator and microwave in our room.

During our stay we had 3 days of strong north winds that shut down the small boat harbor precluding any diving. This caused us to spend more time at the hotel and we grew to appreciate that we weren't in a conventional sterile hotel room. We took advantage of the outdoor seating areas and the DVD player within the room.

We found all of the hotel staff to be friendly and efficient.

I recommend booking directly with the hotel for the best rate.

My partner and I stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for three nights and after talking with him about our trip, this hotel was our favorite. Hands down. We stayed at luxury hotels, all inclusive ones, and even an Airbnb and there was something this hotel had that the others didn’t. Personality.

Rosie greeted us upon our arrival and helped us check in and get situated. We immediately felt at home and her kindness was so appreciated. The villas were like lofts and very well thought out with little kitchenettes and a lovely twisty staircase leading up to the bedroom on the second floor. Everything was very very clean and had all the necessary amenities one could think of. The courtyard was really beautiful too.

The location of this hotel was was absolutely perfect. Out of the way from the main cruise ship shenanigans but close enough that in a few bocks you were downtown and able to find wonderful places to eat and shop till your heart’s content.

Again, we just really loved this hotel because of its personality and the fact that the people who run it were so kind and helpful. We will absolutely be returning and will be recommending to anyone who is going to Cozumel.

This hotel was fantastic. It's close to the center (and a million restaurants) and an easy walk from the ferry pier. There's a stunningly lush, calm garden path to the suites with a clean plunge pool at the end. Rosie, at the front desk, is extremely kind and accommodating.

The actual suite was very nice - kitchenette was clean and had sufficient kitchenware; the shower had an openable window; and the couch was comfy despite it having a concrete base. We stayed in the unit pictured in the photos, and did find the dining room table area to be dark during the day. We moved it to the living room area on the days we worked from the hotel and that worked out fine. The wifi was excellent.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. However, I would not recommend this to anyone who has trouble with stairs or needs a railing.

We have never been disappointed once and now it is our home away from home. Karla is just a fantastic manager and makes sure everything goes smoothly during our stay. This is a small, quiet condo unit with 8 individual rooms, each with a kitchenette and large living area downstairs with queen bed and bathroom upstairs. It has a wonderful courtyard and small pool which is perfect for that morning and evening dip. The beds are comfy, the water pressure good and the ac keeps us nice and cool for a good night's sleep. We have stayed at some of the bigger resorts but much prefer the 2 block walk to all the food and bar options not to mention the fun shopping. Let's just say if I was to buy a condo in Cozumel this would be it!

We love the location that is close enough to everything, but far enough to be peaceful. No loud bar is within hearing range nor did we hear dogs barking that bothered us. The rooms are nice size with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, mini fridge. There are plates and cups in the little kitchen as well. Bottled water is available in the lobby and courtyard. Brewed coffee is available in the lobby.
The spiral staircase is a unique feature that gets you up to the loft where the bed, tv, and bathroom are located.

The A/C works great. The courtyard also has a grill available and a community seating area and a small pool.

What impressed us most was the service of the staff. Always there to greet you and call for a cab. I left my phone on the couch in the lobby one morning and Karla took the owner’s car to deliver it to us at Bucannos. Thanks Karla!

They will clean the room daily or skip days at your request.

We will definitely return the next visit to Cozumel.

Well located and lovely, clearly designed by an architect. Everyone else has described the features, but I must add my vote that the staff exceeds expectations. Rosa in particular, was too kind, even offering to lend me her own personal possessions. A wonderful place to base yourself.

As other folks mentioned, the spiral stairs are wonderful but anyone who could lose balance easily should avoid.

Great and peaceful location in the centre of the city. Rooms perfectly clean and spacious, little pool to dip in after a long traveling day. Kittchen providing the basics needed. No cooking possible but perfect BBQ facilities available (to be shared) by customers. Complimentary coffee in the morning and all shop nearby. We had a great time at Villas Las Anclas and can only recommend. Upon arrival with the ferry it is about a 500 meter walk, so no need for taxis.

We had a great stay at over Christmas. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, Rosie was a gem! The villa was extremely clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen needs as well as reusable bags for grocery runs. Hot coffee in the lobby every morning was a nice touch, as well as being greeted by the friendly schnauzer Otto.

They have a beautiful shared courtyard with a grill, flattop and 2 burner for cooking which we used quite often. The pool was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. They have a rinse and drying area for scuba gear too. Less than a block from restaurants and the waterfront. There is also gated parking next door ($) which was so nice for our rental jeep.

I am hesitant to recommend this place because I want there to be vacancies next time we come!!
