I was looking for a quiet spot where I could relax in comfort, and the Summer Place Inn was perfect. Joe is very friendly and helpful. I made frequent use of his bike and the grill, which were nice to have on offer. The bike gave me access to the island, and I enjoyed cruising around to check out different neighborhoods, locking it up when I wanted to stay anywhere. With a full kitchen and grocery store nearby, I had no trouble preparing my meals, which I prefer to eating out. And perhaps best of all, I was looking for a place that didn't feel touristy - I wasn't going to Mexico for tequila and a cruise - I wanted to enjoy the amazing underwater world of Cozumel and the quietude of a family run home by night. Just returned home from our fifth stay at Summer Place Inn. We want to thank Henny, John ,Joe and Ellie for a wonderful stay once again what wonderful hosts . It is a wonderful place beautiful garden,patio, pool, common areas. I like to cook while I'm there the kitchen is very well-equipped and if I needed something I would ask and they would get it for me. It's close to the grocery store, downtown , three blocks to the water ,very quite neighborhood . Don't listen to the media it's very safe . We had a great time and made many more memories we will be back next year. Spread your wings and give it a try you won't regret it. 👍🏻

My daughter girlfriend and I just returned from a 18 night stay at Summer breeze. We LOVED it. We had no car but it was central to walking through the town and close enough we could walk to both major grocery stores. We had originally booked a 5 night stay at residencia reef but it was so cold and wet, and full of mosquitoes that I called Henny and she graciously made room for us back at Summer Breeze. If you're looking for a safe place to stay with local flair that includes all the amenities of home and gracious hosts, this just might be it!

We have been coming to Cozumel for vacation since the 80's. We have always stayed at the best hotels by the beaches but this time we tried Summer Place Inn for a week. Joe , Amil, and the whole crew were there to meet us on our arrival. Summer Place Inn being a few blocks from the main Avenue, was surprisingly quiet/private, yet so near to all the stores, supermarket, restaurants, malls and other activities available around the island.Our room was very clean,with all the amenities like-very comfy bed,refrigerator, coffee maker, TV,etc, private bath, free WIFI, lots of towels. The pool area has all the towels you need, a huge kitchen next to private table areas in the garden for breakfast and dining. We have the place and the pool to ourselves, we do not have to reserve our place by the pool, They provided us bikes to go around the boulevard and the island. The kitchen was so well equipped, and my husband who is a chef ,cooked gourmet dinner for us and our friends. It's like being home away from home with the laid back tropical feeling. We have just returned from staying at Summer Place Inn for four months . We stayed in one of the condos we enjoyed our stay very much .Henny John, Joe and Ellie were wonderful host it is a great location quiet ,close to two grocery stores. Walking distance to the downtown area. We were close to the Corpus Christi church , and a lot of restaurants within walking distance .They have condos or three separate suites wonderful common area very well equipped with a outdoor kitchen, grill, beautiful pool and garden area . We have been there four times and we will be back . Many thanks to the Watts family for their hospitality .

This beautiful home is just 2 blocks from the ocean on a quiet street. We stayed in one of the king bed suites. Fully equipped with yr own refrigerator coffee coffee maker, large flat screen TV and yr own patio. All 3 King suites have a patio. LaPita comes daily and cleans. This place is amazing clean! The owner Joe is super nice and very helpful if you need anything. This is our first time staying on the island. We found the people to be extremely friendly. Very safe island. Make sure to rent a car and drive around the island and stop at Mile Marker 20 at Playa Palancar Beach. Great snorkeling! Then be sure to stop at Coconuts. A unique restaurant on a cliff over looking the ocean.

We have just returned from a two week stay at Summer Place Inn. It is in a great location, quiet yet close enough to town to walk each night for dinner. We had a king room with a very comfy bed, and use of the outdoor kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook a full meal. The pool is lovely and gets sun during the day so it was a nice temperature with nice towels supplied. Everything was very clean and Henny and Joe continually asked to let them know if we needed anything. Having the bikes was also a great addition. We always rent a car but it is close to the grocery stores which is great if you don't have a vehicle. We will definitely be back.

We travelled with two other couples and stayed in the three separate suites and shared the well equipped fully outdoor kitchen. Perfect to socialize with one another and then 'retire' to our own space. Henny and her family made sure we had everything to make sure our stay was comfortable and were helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do/see around the island. We enjoyed the pool (which was cleaned daily) as well as the use of the bikes. Summer Place Inn was located within walking distance to grocery stores and central to many restaurants. We really did not have any complaints during our stay and we are already planning a return trip in the new year.

Located in a very quiet neighborhood not far from the ocean and the main ocean side road is this beautiful respite. It's hard to beat returning from a morning dive to have a swim and relax by the pool surrounded by the great landscaping. We stayed in the two story 1 bedroom apartment because we like to have a quiet breakfast before heading out for a morning dive. Our kitchen and the outside kitchen are well stocked with anything needed if you choose to do your own cooking. They added cable TV since we were there last and the wifi is better also. Our room, the common areas and grounds are kept clean. This was our second stay and hope to return again next year.

This was a gem of a find. Just blocks away from Chedraui grocery store, a very comfortable walk into the main square, with great restaurants on the way, a few blocks from beach. It had everything we needed and more. Felt like we knew the owner as a personal trustworthy friend instantaneously. They were there ready and willing with suggestions and help anytime we needed. Pool, Outdoor kitchen, bikes, internet, coffee maker, books, pool floats, shopping carts, gated entry for security, in room mini fridge, clean, comfortable... everything handed to us. Place has a few condos upstairs and three hotel size bedrooms downstairs. Looks like it is popular for groups, but We just had one bedroom. A group of athletes had the rest of place, but we Never felt crowded, never uncomfortable. Just a real lovely place. Booked via email. Paid paypal. Room was ready and waiting when we got there.
