Nice location, only 5 blocks from ferry (Calle 10) and half a block from the ocean. Very friendly staff, and beautiful cozy courtyard. Nice kitchen in room, with plenty of drinking water. Clean and spacious, with plenty of drawers. Walking distance to beach bars/restaurants where you can snorkel. Now for the cons: I got a room on the ground floor, so no privacy if opening the curtains. Room (especially bathroom) could use some TLC (painting, etc.), although all issues were only cosmetic. Kitchen could be better stocked (more utensils, etc), although for the price, I can't really complain. No beach towels provided. All in all, pros outweigh cons and I would stay there again!

We would highly recommend Hacienda San Miguel. The hacienda features individual rooms, and suites, which are clean, bright, and beautifully decorated. The rooms surround a beautiful courtyard, with natural vegetation, white lights, fountains, and even a barbecue grill. The hotel staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Each staff member speaks Spanish and English fluently. The rates are very reasonable, even for a longer stay. The hacienda is within walking distance of the beach, snorkeling, shops, and several great restaurants. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

We had a 3-night stay in the hacienda and it was perfect! Daniela and the rest of the staff made us feel very confortable and were very accommodating! We loved our stay and we highly recommend the place! NB: As a place for improvement, we could think of adding a mini-fridge in the rooms?

This was my second stay at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and all face onto a beautiful courtyard garden. Each room has a kitchenette (with stove rather than microwave). The location is convenient, a short walk to the town center and many stores and restaurants. The hotel staff, Gisela and Roger, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. All in all, it is a great value. I will stay here again on my next visit to Cozumel.

We stayed at Hacienda San Miguel for 9 days, and I would stay a month if I could. Gabriella and Roger were wonderful hosts. They made our stay so wonderful, giving us suggestions for places to eat, they took care of having our laundry sent out and returned. Always willing to help us for whatever we needed. We will definitely be back .

This is our 2nd stay here.  Last year (2020) we stayed the month of March.  This year we are staying about 10 weeks.  We like it a lot.  The combination of location, comfort, charm, price, and very friendly staff (Gisela, Roger and Maria) make it a place that feels like a 2nd home (vacation home that is).  If you love a beautiful garden you get one here complete with hummingbirds and little lizards (some not so little!).   And somewhere nearby a rooster lets us know that the sun is coming up.  Again.  We stayed in Rosa (room names, not numbers) this year, a 2-level suite; kitchen, dining area, fold-out couch and half bath on the main floor plus outside seating.  Bedroom, full bath and storage on the 2nd floor plus a balcony with seating.  AC on both floors.  Very comfortable.  Located a 1/2 block off the waterfront with nice bars, restaurants and snorkeling right there.  To the city square is an 8 minute walk, to the ferry about 10.  We don't have a car.  We can walk to every place and if needed, taxis are readily available on the waterfront.  There is nothing about this property that is really up to date but it all works.  Just don't expect granite countertops.  I would like it better if it had screens and ceiling fans, but for all of the reasons already mentioned, we feel this is a great place to stay in Cozumel.

What a wonderful hotel in Cozumel. In the old Mexican hacienda style, it’s only a half block from the waterfront, and a 7 minute walk to the main plaza of Cozumel. The proprietors are very kind and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable. There are many fine restaurants within easy watering distance. And best of all, the prices are very reasonable and cheap for what you get. For sure a place I would come back to.

We spent a week at Hacienda San Miguel for our scuba trip and we loved it. We got a queen room on the second floor, which was spacious and light (so many windows, which I love but still a ton of privacy - a perfect combination). Roger was extremely helpful during the whole stay. At first we didnt like the bed because it was slightly smaller and too soft - he offered to changed that and the next day he changed the bed (the rest of the hotel was pretty empty) and he also helped us with any questions we had about the island, restaurants and renting a car. Would definitely come back!

Close enough to walk to town center for those not having a rental car. Clean rooms and friendly staff. My only complaint would be the iron gate they close each night and reopen in the early AM. It drags the concrete and makes a LOUD grinding noise that will wake you up if you stay in any of the rooms near it. Fix the gate please, lol!

Located a few blocks from downtown and the ferry dock to Playa del Carmen, this small hotel offers comfortable accommodations at moderate prices (considering how expensive Cozumel is). The room have a good bathroom, table, kitchen equipped with utensils, stove and refrigerator. A point to note is that they have an ecological program to wash sheets and towels and offer water jug in the rooms instead of bottles
