We chose this Hotel based on trip advisor reviews and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. Tamarindo is an oasis in the hustle and bustle of this very touristy town. The pool, the garden, the landscape design and the gorgeous rooms, made our four day stay just perfect. My husband dove everyday and needed to leave early, the lovely owner, Jimena, starts cooking breakfast early, at 7:30 which is helpful for the divers and for people who need to travel early. The breakfasts were creative, scrumptious and presented beautifully. Our last morning we were served waffles with fruit. In a town full of large all inclusive hotels and soulless condo buildings, this little gem is just what we were looking for. I stayed here with my husband in December 2022. This was the perfect home base for our Cozumel vacation. Jimena and Alex were incredible hosts. The breakfasts Jimena made each morning were so delicious. The location was perfect for walking to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. Taxis were easy to get to go anywhere farther. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool and the rooftop hot tub. The property is well kept and beautifully decorated. We loved it and would not hesitate to return!

My husband & I stayed here over the December holidays. I can't say enough about this lovely little oasis. It was a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of Cozumel. It is close enough to walk to town but is a lovely tranquil space away from the hubbub. Jimena & Alex have renovated the property to create 10 beautiful boutique rooms, each adorned with Mexican art & tile. They've got a swimming pool set among lush gardens & trees, a breakfast patio on the second floor and a third-story deck to view the stunning sunsets. In addition, they can set up snorkeling & scuba diving and have snorkeling equipment on the property. Jimena's personalized breakfasts are incredible. We were treated to fresh coffee every morning and dishes ranging from huevos rancheros to french toast & fruit. The last morning we left at 6:15 to catch the ferry and she sent us off with granola, yogurt & fruit. Again, Tamarindo for us was the best part of Cozumel.…

Jimena and Alex’s place is beautiful with rooms around the swimming pool. It is a welcome retreat from the busy port town of Cozumel. Loved the breakfasts, yoga classes and the decor in the spacious room. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Alex and Jimena made us very welcome and were on hand for any questions we had. We had an amazing massage also!

This might be the best bed and breakfast on isla Cozumel. The place is newly renovated and styled. Very pretty property with pool, roof top bar and hot tub. Secure scooter parking. We stayed here in both our 2021 and 2022 trip. Rooms are bright and clean, the community kitchen is equipped with gas stove & oven, dishes, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. The location is great, everything Centro has to offer (ferry pier, great restaurants and coffee shops, laundry service…) is walking distance. You can also walk farther into town to dine in local restaurants with very reasonable price. Our host, Jimena and Alex, are very welcoming. Jimena serves breakfast every morning. It’s sooo good! Thank you for the great stay! We hope to visit you again in the future!

A lovely peaceful & tranquil B&B, hosted by a husband & wife team, Alex & Jimena - they run this gorgeous hideaway like a tight ship. This highly ranked B&B is set among tranquil, tropical gardens and palapa roofs, offering privacy and relaxed surroundings. Furnished with vibrant local decor - we had the Laguna room, a self contained suite with a microwave, fridge, utensils, plates/bowls although it would have been good to have a kettle for our early morning coffee before breakfast time 07:30 (we are early risers). And some wine glasses. A Traditional Mexican (Instagram worthy) breakfasts are included and served (07:30-09:30) each morning, and as much coffee as you like. Tamarindo B&B is only 4 blocks/10 minutes walk from the oceanfront in Zona Centro, near the ferry building and main square! We liked that Tamarindo is an adult-only property; children under 10 are not permitted. Although they do have 1 dog called Napoleon(Napo), a cross breed from a corgi, he was no bother at all, and I’m not a dog person - well mannered & trained and not a bark from him. There is a brand new swimming pool, yoga and massage room, and a rooftop lounge with jacuzzi and beer + wine bar! Unfortunately, we can’t comment on these facilities as we didn’t get time to use them. On Christmas Day, we couldn’t get hold of a taxi to go for dinner at Casa Mission - it was heavily pouring with rain & we set off to walk it to Casa Mission (about 5 blocks away), and Jimena, bless her, jumped into her car, went out to look for us, and luckily for us, found us & drove us to Casa Mission - saving us getting totally drenched from the downpour. Such a lovely & thoughtful act of kindness / thank you. My only regret was that we couldn’t have stayed longer than the 3 nights we booked for. If we were ever to return back to Cozumel, Tamarindo’s is the place I would absolutely have no hesitation booking again!…

This has to be one of the best B&B’s we have ever stayed in. The facility is a peaceful oasis and well maintained. Our large room was right by the pool with a king bed, basic kitchen, and a large bathroom & shower. A traditional Mexican breakfast is served every day (excellent!). Also, there is a jacuzzi on the top level! It is a short walk to town with several restaurant options nearby. Our hosts were extremely accommodating with suggestions for almost anything you might want to know about Cozumel. There were also very helpful ahead of our trip answering every question we had. My only complaint had nothing to do with Tamarindo – the sidewalks in town (except the tourist area right downtown) are in pretty bad shape so bring appropriate footwear!

There should be six stars. I love this place! If you want a truly peaceful getaway where you feel like family, this is the place. The owners are super responsive and helpful. They help you get a lay of the land before you get there so you can plan things out. The entire property has got to be one of the best well-maintained I've seen in my travels. Everything worked. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. Each morning I was offered breakfast. I usually got some fresh eggs, bread, and avocado. The rumors are true, they have an awesome breakfast. The location is really ideal. You can walk to anywhere downtown. They have scooters you can rent. If you need other things the owners will help you. They have a nice guide on Cozumel, from taco places to beach resorts and everything in between. There is a wonderful rooftop where you can relax and read a book or have a drink watching the sunset. The pool has a diving deep end and a nice shallow water chill area. I loved it so much my wife is going down there with friends for her 50th. They won't be disappointed. I can't wait to go back. I took loads of photos, but I took a walk-through video at night to try and capture the magic of this place. Unfortunately, I couldn't upload a video... This place is so beautiful at night.…

Wonderful bed and breakfast. Feels like an Oasis in the town. Close to dive shops. The hosts made us varying vegan breakfasts every morning. They have a rinse tank for dive gear. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only area for improvement would be that WiFi coverage is not amazing in every room.
