The resort is nice, but the staff is really great. Everyone was very friendly and tried their hardest to make our stay very special. Rodrigo, our dinner server, made us laugh and feel comfortable. David, a newer member of the staff, made the activities like bingo so fun and lively. Fatima at the front desk helped me get some pants for dinner and accommodated us with everything we needed. There are so many more, and we are so grateful for their work.

We fell in Love with this resort and have tried to come back every year except for Covid .I have noticed that the resort has started to show it's age but, I also feel these workers are trying there hardest to accommodate everyone. We have always been treated like Family here. They work there tails off and are there for like 10-12 hours. They go from one job to another ,Things happen ,that go wrong but, they try to make it right .You also need to realize this hotel is also trying to recover from Covid , They are still open ! We lost our business in the states .So good for them . There food is average but, sometimes they can make different things like a BLT .or a grilled cheese ,We have also gone in to town to buy like peanut butter and Jelly ,Or just for a change we ate at the Mission or El moro .' In the specialty restaurant we look at the menu which best meets our needs .You can also eat breakfast in there. We plan to be there for 2 weeks after 2 years. Guess we will see what has taken place in Two years. But, we have been there every year. The sand fleas love me there I hope they have left the country while I'm in Mexico

This is review is something that I have sat and thought about before I wrote it. The disappointments: My birthday and my honeymoon were not acknowledged in any sort of way. I notified the hotel and booked straight through the hotel. I emailed the hotel and received a response acknowledging my reasons for coming to the hotel. I did receive, two hours after I arrived a plate of strawberries that was inscribed "Welcome back Ms Dorau" PS. I am no longer Ms Dorau.... We are on our honeymoon. I thanked the special events person for the gesture and asked if they could print a keepsake inscribed Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Roche or Happy birthday Victoria. Nope.. didn't happen. The hotel prints these on disposable plastic film that is on a white plate with five chocolate strawberries. It is usually put in the room before you arrive for your trip and decorate with something simple. I explained I had a very small wedding and this was our big celebration. I was offered a private special dinner on the beach for $190 USD or dinner in our room for $90. Room service is included at this hotel. Two slices of cake brought to the room would be $8. This is an All Inclusive hotel that I just paid $1,600 for 6 nights' stay. The air conditioner was out in the formal dinning room so we only ate in there one time. The food was average but better than the buffet. The buffet is still there but must be served to you. Breakfast used to be my favorite but they no longer serve breakfast sausage or bacon only ham every day. They are understaffed and long lines formed as you had to wait to be served. One person was running both sides. My standby club sandwich was even a disappointment. One slice of bacon and about a tablespoon of chopped up chicken was on it. The house liquor is horrible and they no longer offer call brands. This is the first time and was not disclosed to me at the time of booking. I explained this to guest services and was told that they did offer Bacardi Rum and Captain Morgan. He told me to order at the lobby bar. I did and the person laughed and shook his head and said we don't have it. He has been a bartender there for many years so I know he wasn't just saying the hotel no longer has it available. I'm not saying his name because it isn't his fault that the new management is failing to keep repeat guests. Now for the great. THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL. It is hard to find a beach in Mexico without sargassum sea grass. Martha is still at the front desk and she makes my vacation seem like I am visiting home. Housekeeping was excellent for room 1908. Turn down services were offered. We always had wash cloths. Linens and the small fold out couch were brand new. Please look up my prior reviews on this property. I have not stayed anywhere else in Cozumel. I don't plan on returning because of the liqueur and the down grade in food. Isn't that why you go to an all-inclusive. I don't drink heavy but I enjoy a great drink on the beach without the trouble of going to buy your own beverages to drink to a $250 night all-inclusive.

We have had poor service from all the staff. The staff was rude and could not care less about their guest. At dinner one night I was even insulted in Spanish by our waiter. But to his surprise I unstood what he said.

I want to start by saying this medium level resort and your expectations as such. That being said my family and I loved it here. Our room was big and clean and the AC worked great. I had paid for the basic ocean view room and was upgraded to premium at check in for free. I will give my experiences based on things I have seen other people complain about. Our room was cleaned well and water restocked on the days we had housekeeping. The towels were fluffy and we had hot water. Yes it had to run for a minute first but so does mine at home. We are not the kind of people that need our beds made for us every day. The pools were gorgeous and the water temperature perfect. The snorkeling at the beach was amazing. As for the drinks, I disagree that they are watered down on purpose. They have ice and it’s 100 degrees there. Ice begins to melt immediately. This is basic science and not the staff’s fault. We generally went to the bar and got our own drinks. We tipped at the beginning of the day and got great drinks and service. There were also staff running around constantly to wait on people. Again, we are not the kind of people who need to be waited on hand and foot. I will say the food was average but this does not change my rating. The buffet looked the same every day but you could order off the a la carte menu. The regular restaurant required reservation that had to be made first thing in the morning. You could still order off their menu when outside. Yes it may take a bit. We ordered and went back to the pool. The food issues are common in most resorts right now. We talked to many people staying at other resorts who were saying the same thing. Overall I would absolutely stay here again. Keep in mind this is still a third world country and some things will not be like in the states. Besides your room, everything else is open air as is common in the Caribbean. There are bugs and birds etc. If this is a problem then this is probably not the vacation for you. As for us, we have been home 2 weeks and are already planning our next trip.
