Normally I don't write reviews but I'm making a acception. My mom and went April 12--19 2022 holy week. Here is my review ; going through Cozumel airport seamless I did the tourist card forms before I left and printed them out made going through much quicker. It took approx 15-20 mins to get to the resort .When we arrived we were greeted with a cold towel and drinks while waiting for my room. Check in was also smooth my category was a master suite with plunge pool room 105. It was lovely king size bed and a couch that made into a double bed 2 washrooms both had rain shower heads and 2 vanities mini bar replenished daily (beer pop water) They have 3 main restaurants mexican italian asian (reservations required) buffet style breakfast lunch except for 2 days they had a fantistic outdoor bbq. I cannot stress enough the quality of both customer service and food. If there was something you wanted they would sure try and accommodate for you. The grill across the street was closed due to covid 19 but the beach water was beautiful and there was also a pool ther for you to enjoy. They also had a cafe for coffee where you could have nice desserts very yummy! I have been to Cozumel before but stayed at the Melia north in 2011 , but this by far was even nicerlet's just say I wouldn't hesitate to return.…
Like others have said, it's a little disappointing that service has been temporarily discontinued in the beach area and there are no "beds" to lay on. With that being said, the pool, coffee bar and restaurant service was outstanding. We have never felt more welcomed and appreciated than we did during our stay. Even our maid Marci made us feel tike she appreciated us staying there. My wife and I both felt like we were treated like celebrities. This was our 5th visit to Fiesta and we come here mainly because of the wonderful people and the snorkeling. For anyone interested in snorkeling, this is the place to stay. During this trip we saw a couple of small nurse sharks, an eagle ray, a couple of large great southern stingrays, yellow stingrays, moray eels, lots of French angel fish and many, many more species. The cruise ships bring their tours and drop them in the water about 150 yards north of Fiesta because of the coral and number of fish that can be seen here. If you like good food, service, and snorkeling, this is the place to stay!…
The pools need urgent maintenance, as it is very easy to get hurt. I hurt my feet pretty bad twice, as the bottom tiles were sharp because some pieces were missing. I also ripped my swim trunks when standing inside the pool, as there was an extremely sharp tile next to the barrier between the kids pool and the deep area.
I know a lot of people get upset when they find something out the waterfront dining and services are closed but honestly the food and service at this resort make up for it. I have never felt so well taken care of while in Cozumel, and the food was amazing.
We loved FA (fiesta americana). The tour coordinator gave us excellent recommendations and arrangements (Andreas). Booked right there at the hotel with all instructions, videos, directions, etc. Xhiel our concerige pronounced Shy-eel, was available 24/7 spoke excellent English, and didnt mind us pestering her via Whatsapp messages to her directly even when she wasnt at the resort working she arranged things for us. Hector and the bar staff were exceptional handling the bar. We requested top shelf liquor (captain and coke), and gave it willingly. Armondo is an above average employee also, and we very much appreciated his friendship. The recreation staff provided zumba and water aerobics and jenga, pool games. There was always a show in the evening, and we were entertained and appreciated it all. Our 3 rooms were clean, large, and everything worked. Beds were very comfortable. I was worried about location being out of town, but it was just fine. Ask for a taxi and it was waiting around the corner. The greeters/security/baggage handlers at the front steps handled getting one for us immediately. FA was more than i expected. Thank you for a wonder family vacation. We are 65 years old, and traveled with our 26 and 28 year old sons and their "wives". All had a great time. A great mix of people at the resort. …
