Cozumel Palace was exceptional. Best food I ever had at an all inclusive. Breakfasts and lunches had amazing selections and high quality. For dinner we preferred the Italian restaurant to the Japanese and Mexican restaurant. One night the Japanese was Indian. But they were all good for dinner. All the Waitstaff was so friendly and accommodating. They are amazing. Diving was great with Blanca and Walter as our dive masters. Blanca was especially helpful with getting my B/C and equipment set up correctly. Blanca also gave me directions to a ‘fish spa’ in town. Only other place I had seen them were in Thailand. You put your feet in a fish tank and these baby fish, ‘pescaditos’suck the dead skin off your feet making them feel soft and refreshed. One day Vittoria was onboard and took pictures on the boat and under water. These pics were available for preview/ purchase. As you probably know Cozumel has some of the best diving in Western Hemisphere. I dove 3 days for a total of 6 dives. My favorite was Palancar Caves. I had done it 15 years ago when I got certified on my 1st dive. This year I did my 101st dive at Palancar Caves. My GF who doesn’t dive was able to snorkel right off the hotel and could see quite a lot. Room was spacious, comfortable with jacuzzi in room which we used daily.Walking distance to Dolphinarius where you can ride/play with dolphins. Another day we took taxi to Stingray Beach where you hold Stingrays and then snorkel with them . Cozumel Palace has huge pools with quality loungers. They will serve you drinks and food at the pool. Lots of fun. My GF already talking about going back to Cozumel Palace. We had a great vacation . Vamos a regresar!…
Traveling from New York is a two flight trip, so it has to be worth it, and Cozumel Palace is! The hotel is beautiful and kept extremely clean. We were very comfortable and every room has a view! First, there is the staff: Dora, who scheduled our Covid test for us and then arranged for a romantic dinner when she heard we were celebrating an anniversary. After our romantic dinner, there was a lovely surprise waiting for us in our room. When, unfortunately, we had to take a trip to the hospital, she came with us to lend support. Pedro, the head of Security, also came and then picked us up. Such beautiful people. Then there is Joel, the Sommelier. He is someone who truly loves his job and loves sharing his incredible knowledge of wine. He is also one of the sweetest people we ever met! So glad we made this new friend. Then there are the restaurants! We started with Agura, which is Indian cuisine. Fabulous! You must try it! The chef, Honorio, clearly put his heart and soul into these dishes. The manager, Selene, was also very proud of what they created. We had similar experiences with the Japanese and Italian restaurants! The wait staff was super friendly. Special shout out to Evert, Kika, Ruisel , Eric, Ivanovich, Jonathan, and the hostess, Martha!!! Go for the Cozimil dinner and wine tasting events , totally worth it! All of this with that beautiful ocean right there. Can’t forget that ocean!! My husband and I will definitely be back!!…
Cozumel Palace is our new favorite resort! We had a beautiful presidential suite. You can't beat the amazing sunsets! They keep the place very clean, and our room and bed was very comfortable. Loved all the restaurants (except didn't try the Indian one, but our friends said it was good). The food was truly amazing! What really makes Cozumel Palace stand out, though, is the staff!! Fili and Emanuel, servers at the infinity pool, were always there to get us whatever we needed, and they were so fun!! Josie at the pool snack bar was also wonderful. She has such a great personality and was always smiling! Unfortunately we had to use the on-site doctor, but he was very good and gave a very accurate diagnosis, and my husband spent 2 nights in the hospital (not COVID). Dora at public relations helped us get to the hospital and was very comforting. The good news is the hospital correctly diagnosed my husband and got him the medicine he needed, and he was able to return to the resort where we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our vacation. Dora also helped arrange beautiful flowers and champagne for our anniversary. Marco at the breakfast buffet was also helpful in making sure I could take food from there to the hospital for my husband, and Marco inquired every day how he was doing. I just can't say enough about how wonderful the staff is at CP!! We can't wait to return on our next vacation!…
This is our 5th trip to Cozumel island. An easy flight from DFW. After trying several other hotels after we stayed at Cozumel Palace the first time… it’s clear that this is the best hotel on the island. The service is truly what makes this hotel above all the others. The staff is friendly and attentive and seem to really enjoy their jobs. The food is plentiful and quality is above the others. The cocktails are normal size and served in regular glassware when not around the pool which is a classier options than some of the other all inclusive around. Rooms are clean and well appointed. We opted for the loft this time and liked the layout for a family of 4. Entertainment during the day around the pool is fun and lively. We sat by the ocean every day. Chaise lounges were not an issue like other hotels where people get up early to reserve all the lounges. The snorkeling in front of the hotel is amazing. We saw rays, moray eels, clown fish, lion fish, parrot fish… just to name a few. Paddle boarding offered too. Air conditioning worked great which is a plus for us. We all decided this is the only place to stay in Cozumel. See you next time.…
Lots of really spectacular things about the Palace - food (amazing!), service (everyone who works in the bars and restaurants are lovely), drinks but the money grab really rubbed me wrong. Booked an upgraded room several months in advance and requested a quiet part of the hotel. What we were given was a room over the literal nosiest area on the entire property and told that for the SAME room in a quiet area, was another $119 per night. Not a different room class. Another $1000 just to be away from the noise. And then there is the dock fee - they charge 15-20 times what other hotels charge to be picked up at their dock. I get charging non guests but scuba diving is a dangerous activity, particularly in the currents of Cozumel and to force their own guests into using their shop which might not be a good fit or paying an exorbitant fee is unacceptable . I refuse to be bullied into using their in house scuba shop. After meeting several other groups of divers, they were all shocked and would not be staying here again due to this new policy. We tried to book a catamaran day trip through the resort which states that it picks up at hotel dock. Great. Almost double had I booked it myself but was more than happy to pay for the added convenience. Except it doesn’t pick up from dock and would require a taxi ride. Twice the cost and and still need to take a taxi?! Offered a 10% discount which basically would cover the taxi cost. No offer of arranging transportation since the description was wrong. No thank you. Not an acceptable level of service in my opinion. We travel frequently and were considering joining the Palace Elite because we love Cozumel so much but after what we experienced, I am not sure we will even stay here again.…
