Incredible stay! Every room faces the ocean. We were charged from the jacuzzi suite to the penthouse because of storm damage. Huge room, giant tub. Service was incredible. The servers get to know your preferences - Juan at the pool was awesome. Food was delicious. Really enjoyed the location and food at Gaviotas. We were there in a slow period so the resort was not crowded. Easy to find a chair at the pool or beach. One hour of kayak and snorkel gear is included each day. Delicious lobster and key lime pie shops across the street. Easy to take a cabin into town. Quiet beautiful relaxing stay but the guests are all friendly and interact. (This is not an entertainment or party tesort). Lots of families and people of all ages.

We have had the best time at Westin Cozumel! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. The main shoutout I want to give is to Carlos at the lobby bar. He makes the BEST spicy margaritas that we could not get enough of. He is truly a kind and genuine soul and conversation was easy! I hope for any future guests of the Westin they will have the pleasure of meeting him because he made this whole experience next level! Thank you Carlos and Westin Cozumel, we will definitely be back:)

The property is modern and beautiful; located on a private beach with two pools and a scuba diving operation on property. Really lovely place to relax and enjoy the charms of Cozumel. We were well cared for by Ricardo and all the staff. We loved snorkeling on the reef along the property and diving with Pro Dive! The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and the sliders and chicken quesadillas were delicious for lunch.

I’m very mixed on this hotel and ultimately think it just needs - immediately - a brand new GM and culture and it could be great. The restaurant staff and food is great - exceptional actually. The F&B manager even got me gluten free pancakes which were awesome. The veggies on a tostada are great too - and the fruit. The snorkeling is awesome, and it’s fun to have two heated pools. But the front desk staff (except the man who says his passion is NY on his name tag, who is great) - everyone else was truly awful. I had to ask for a robe - and for my shower to get fixed - and for my A/C not to be super loud - 3 times each. I finally wrote the requests down hoping that would help. (My shower door wouldn’t close for 3+ days, and I was worried about mold, but it was finally fixed - the 4th or 5th time I asked.) My first day there were old glasses by the lobby pool that were never cleaned up. This hotel is definitely not well managed. No one really cares about the guest experience. But the worst was when I needed good WiFi for a work zoom call. The front desk said they knew the WiFi wasn’t great. I asked if I could get an Ethernet connection and was told - yes, there is an Ethernet outlet in my room, and they will try to find me a cable. The next morning they gave me a cable. I spent 90 stressful minutes just before my interview trying to get the Ethernet to work. It wasn’t ‘taking’. I called down and a woman at the front desk said she would send an engineer in 15 min. I said I needed an engineer, not maintenance. She said an engineer would be right there. He never came. I called again. She said 5 min. Even long after that a maintenance man finally showed up. He didn’t speak English. He fixed showers. He didn’t know anything about Internet connections. Near tears I went to the front desk, now really stressed. They said the Ethernet connections don’t work in the rooms and that the cable def didn’t work. And that the other clerk had told me this but that i had “insisted” on trying the Ethernet cable. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Why, I asked, would I spend 90 min frantically trying to get an Ethernet cable to work if I had known it wouldn’t work in the first place? They couldn’t answer this. Ultimately I left the hotel and the island to get better WiFi - but it was clear the culture at this hotel is very off. Lots of staff lied about many things. Another day, before a snorkel trip, I ordered lunch at the restaurant, told them I was rushing to make a snorkel trip and would be right back after grabbing some things from my room but to pls prep the food and I’d be back soon. 15 min later I returned to the restaurant, and the order had not been started. One waiter said they were waiting for me to sit down to put in the order. Another waiter said the paper with my order on it had been lost. This hotel was maddening - I felt like everyone was constantly lying and often had conflicting stories from each other. So - go here if you don’t care about service. Don’t need WiFi. And don’t mind asking for every single thing you need 3-5 times. And don’t mind being lied to. It is a shame bec the views from the rooms are great and the swimming and snorkeling special.

Dear dina k Thank you for sharing a review of your recent visit to The Westin Cozumel. It does indeed sound from what you describe that many aspects of your stay did not meet our usual standards of service; please accept our sincerest apologies for failing to make your stay with us a perfect moment of relaxation, I also sincerely appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to my attention, although I am quite surprised and dismayed by the content of your review, please rest assured that your comments have been taken onboard and revised by the entire Management team, however I would like to take this opportunity to clarify certain aspects of your review as a simple matter of exactness of the information reported, our front desk associates inform you about the ethernet request that was not available in our rooms, we do not offer this option, they are very sad also to read, despite their efforts of explaining and even provide the cable and assisted you the service provided was not up your expectations, we all apologies for this. I certainly will transfer all comments about room issues to the leaders of those teams that fail you and we will do our best to improve this opportunity areas you pointed out. Again I thank you for your review which help us to grow! Best resgards!

They claim to have tie up with all major hotels like Marriott, Westin and Ramada but this is false. They are a fraud company only started 1.5 years back with fake name under Westin to scam customers. They offer costly hotel packages so that once you purchase them you can get costly 5 start hotels(Rs 8000 - 15000) for free for 30 days for next 5 years. But this is scam. Once you purchase the package, they only offer very cheap hotels Rs 2000- Rs 3000 only and too after payment of additional fee of Rs 8000-10000. Once you purchase package, your customer relationship manager would never pick any phone. They do not provide any documentation related to package purchase. I am stuck with them and they do not provide any refund. Just keep giving some excuse. There is no easy way to contact them. They hardly pick up phone at their customer service I request everyone to avoid it and report it.
