Comfortable and pleasant stay for two nights. I used my upgrade awards for a master suite on the 15th floor. Nice room with comfy bed and sheets. The footprint of the hotel is quite small with only 15 floors and about 10-12 rooms per floor so it feels quite intimate and cozy. Dinner at Quattro was excellent. The lounge was small but the service was uniformly high quality and very attentive. We also ate at nearby restaurants and there was much to choose from - from the food court in the mall across the street to Cascabel 5 min away (amazing restaurant). Miguel at checkout was so efficient and helpful - he got me a hotel car pronto (in seconds literally) to the airport when my Uber cancelled and I had to rush. Happy to have stayed here and will be back!

Nice hotel in the Santa Fe business district next to a shopping mall. It is far from the city center. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Housekeeping team did a poor job during my stay with restocking the consumables: I received shower gel only on the 3rd day, it required multiple follow-ups to change the towels after 3 nights, etc. The breakfast was average but at least it had local favours.

My boyfriend and I wanted to disconnect a little from the daily routine so we decided to stay at JW Santa Fe; I got to the room first and I came across a gentleman from room service (Gerardo) and told him if it was possible for him to take me a bucket of ice and if possible a jug of hot water because my boyfriend was feeling sick with the flu and also had a foot knock. He told me that he would take it right away and minutes later Miguel and Monica appeared from room service also not only with what I had required but with a cart with cups, lemons, honey, natural ginger and cookies along with a note wishing we felt better! I was speechless, it was a genuine way to surprise and pay special attention to every word I told Gerardo. Truly an excellent service from Miguel, Monica and above all Gerardo:) thank you very much for making our express stay the best! Amenities and first class room, the lighting of the room seems fantastic. We ordered coffee and fruit for breakfast and very rich everything, only suggestion is that the coffee tasted a bit burnt, from there on out everything excellent too. Staff reception and entrance of the hotel equally charming and very helpful. 100/10

This is the worst JW Marriott ever, and it should not even be part of the brand. Status has no meaning here. The only breakfast option for Titanium Elite members is a continental buffet in the lounge. A traditional Mexican breakfast in the restaurant is full priced. No welcome gift or points on arrival. Moreover, staff has no clue as to local offerings. When I sent a message through the app asking for late night dining options, given my flight had been delayed, I was told that the closest was 40 minutes away, when in reality there was a great Mexican taco joint that was open until 5 am and was only 2 minutes away. Last of all, the bar closes at 11 pm on Saturday and there is only one main dish option on the late night dinner menu. This would never happen in any other JWM around the world. This is more like a Fairfield Inn, and should be priced accordingly.

This hotel is a JW Marriott in name only. The service level is closer to a Fairfield. You've been warned. Today we had no water in the hotel. When I asked the front desk about the situation, they were seriously surprised I thought that was a problem. I was told they hoped to get it fixed later today. They had no contingency plan and had made no arrangements for guests to shower at a local gym or another Marriott property. A hotel with no water. When I asked if they planned to provide guests with a discounted rate or Bonvoy points (at a minimum!), they said they would not do so. I then went to breakfast and asked for cafe con leche. I was brought some sort of coffee with cinnamon and a LOT of sugar. The server said he thought I may like a "special" coffee. He may have meant well but being a diabetic, I definitely did not want 8 tbsp of sugar in my coffee. This was my first time at a hotel where they decide what you will drink for breakfast and not what the guest orders. Very strange. I spent the day with clients and came back to the hotel which luckily had water now. I tried to order room service but the phone wasn't working so I went to the front desk to try and get it fixed. They never sent anyone despite twice telling me they would. I then went to the bar to order a quick meal. I was given a menu and then the server disappeared. This entire process took 45 minutes and I still hadn't placed my order. I finally found an employee who was willing to help me. I ordered a burger and it was brought to my room. If you come here thinking this is a five-star hotel as one would expect from a JW Marriott, you will be sorely disappointed. This morning I asked for the names of the Room Service Manager and the General Manager. I was given a business card and told they would call me as soon as possible. So far nobody has called. Please think twice about staying here. There is a Westin, a Hilton, a Novotel and a DoubleTree literally across the street. Better to stay at one of those if your travels bring you to Santa Fe.

My name is Bruno Reichert and I booked a night at the JW Santa Fe on 11/14 . Due to different flights, I called in anticipation, letting the property know that my wife would check in before I did (I'm currently in CA, staying at a sister property as I am a loyal Marriott Bonvoy customer). Ms. Viviana Alvarez treated my wife with such contempt and arrogance, saying she would revoke my benefits if I didn't sign up immediately, shaming my wife even when I called the day prior to inform about this. It was such a bad experience that I wonder: is Ms. Alvarez one of Marriott's owners? what gives her the right to treat a PAYING customer with such contempt? I hope these lines hit the right person as this señorita Alvarez needs to be trained on 2 or 3 things around customer service.

Arrived on December 07, 2022 only to be (I use the term loosely) greeted by Tania at the front desk who was NOT friendly, never smiled, never greeted me and did not welcome me as a gold level status. Not a problem, but the week went down hill from there. Day 1 room neat and clean. Day 2 room barely cleaned and not restocked with water, coffee pods and creamer. Day 3 Spoke with Ray (manager) and he promised me that from that point forward everything would be better. To guarantee we received what we needed (and paid for) I left a note for the housekeeper and listed what was needed in the room. Didn’t work!! Still no coffee pods or creamer restocked. Day 4 returned back to the room with again, no coffee pods, creamer or water. Bed had been made, but no clean towels restocked and the room not been cleaned properly. Day 5 asked Valerie at the front desk to speak to a manager. Valerie told me that Gloria (MOD) would meet me on the executive floor at 9:00am. I waited till 9:35 and finally gave up. Went back to the front desk and Valerie immediately asks me if Gloria came and spoke with me, I replied no. Gloria came out and told me that Valerie had never told her to meet me. So either Valerie or Gloria are not telling the truth. Have 2 case numbers with Marriott Corporate, so let’s see how this shakes out. Very frustrating to have to request a clean room and items to be restocked every single day. Housekeeper told us that the hotel does not give them adequate supplies. Obvious that staff and managers do not care about their guests. On a bright note, Brenda on the executive floor and Jesus (bellman / concierge) are amazing and the only bright spots of the visit.

Brunch is extraordinary. There is a lot of variety in the food, everything is delicious, chef Victor is watching the diners, we were served by waiter Edher who is very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to have lunch on the weekend with the family.

This is a good business hotel in the Santa Fe area in Mexico. Check-in was fast, and the bellstaff was friendly and helpful. The room was large enough, with a large desk and a lounger in the room. The bathroom was a bit dated but in great shape, with both a bathtub and a separate shower. The TV had a smaller than usual channel selection, but the Wifi was fast and stable, and room service was reasonably priced, There's Samara shops across the street from the hotel, which is very convenient.

A VERY NICE STAY. The staff super friendly and attentive to any request, always helpful, from front desk to room services and any staff who come to meet me through corridors and valet. In the restaurants also super well served. According to my reservation I requested room change overlooking the city, and in the kindest and most efficient way they made the change. I also requested warmth and additional cover and they met my request in time and form. 10/10

I don't believe so - i was in Mexico City for two weeks but moved downtown for the weekend as Santa Fe is a business district and frankly there is not a lot to do there other than the mall which is a drive anyway (so you can visit by Uber from anywhere)
I think also the pool area and jacuzzi are very small (maybe for about 30 people?) so although it should be quiet on the weekend, any number of people could spoil your relaxation.
The spa seems nice and the workout area has good equipment.
Hi,
Agree with what Ileana A has said, a little damage like crack on glass railings.
Hotel is safe to stay, however, I am not sure abut road to Toluca, my apologies.
Bon Voyage!
