The room rates are well worth the amenities: terrific location, extremely friendly staff, front desk women speak terrific English, relaxing rooftop pool, incredible views, excellent breakfast included, balconies over looking the ocean. I've come here twice and will continue to.
Booked for a night as my Airbnb didn't work out as expected. The hotel is one of the oldest in the city of Mazatlan. The general atmosphere reminded me of Latin American business hotels that appeared in the movies. The location is one of the best in the city, with no doubt, Don't forget to check out the rooftop pool & bar - it's absolutely one of Mazatlan's hidden gems. Highly recommended and great value for money
Using the Best Western site to make a reservation will not guarantee that you will have a room. That is because this hotel may have the BW name it is independently owned Great location especially for special events. However have a back up plan or a hotel that will honor reservations. Management will unilaterally cancel your reservation without notice if they can get a better offer. Imagine an airline or a cruise ship doing this BW corporate told me they have no control over this practice and the management does not care if you post a negative comment on this rude inconvenient practice. I recommend you stay an one of the nicer boutique hotels in El central which is nearby. Pricing here is much higher Remember this was built in 1944 so it will have its charm The elevator is scary so I take the stairs. After all this is Mexico.…
We had been in Mexico for a month and stayed here on our last night. What a good choice! Definitely recommend the ocean side with balcony. So lovely sitting on our balcony watching the sun set. Room was very nice , staff super helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast is the best we have ever had. Worth it for the breakfast!!!! Can’t say enough good about our stay there!
This hotel is perfectly situated: across the street from the ocean, right on 'the strip' where nightly activity takes place EVERY night, mere footsteps away from about 10 different places to eat, including a GREAT coffee place (Looney Bean), sunsets over the water, rooftop pool, EXCELLENT staff, very reasonable price, amazing 360 degree view from the roof. We will stay at this same hotel again next year!
