Every staff member was polite, helpful, and enthusiastic. Food was the best I've had in Mexico(have visited many times). Accommodations were nice. Everything was very clean. The staff was always helpful. Had a different entree every night and all were good; a couple were spectacular.
We love it there. There are many things to do— tours, fishing, golf, beach and pool time, and numerous restaurants to try. The staff is very friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning for our next visit in the fall.
We had a lot of fun! We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. The staff were great and always went above and beyond! They had all the Covid precautions in place to make us feel very safe while there. We will be back next year!
We had a wonderful stay here at the El CID Marina. My mom comes here every winter and now we understand why. We stayed in the most wonderful unit(703)- Top floor facing the ocean with 3 bedrooms, vaulted living room , full kitchen and a private rooftop balcony with a hot tub. Amazing views! So beautiful! The staff was very friendly and we found the terrace restaurant to have the best food. The two pools are great. One is heated, they have daily activities- Bingo, Black Jack, pool volleyball, etc. the food & beverage service was good as well. The 2nd pool is a bit chilly but has a fun small waterfall, water slide & tunnel to explore. The private beach is a short boat ride( 2min) across the marina- fun waves, umbrellas & food service as well. We enjoyed the staff- special thanks to Enrique, Hiram, Carlos & Fidel who made our stay so fun & relaxing. We stayed on site the whole week except for a tour of the city one day. If you are looking for more action I would suggest the El CID’s El Moro location. It is beachfront, houses more people and has easy access to other hotels & restaurants. …
Just finished a 3 week stay at El Cid. Normally we visit here and El Cid Puertos Morelos 3 times a year a year but because of Covid haven’t been able to visit Puertos Morelos because of the risks of flying and because all the El Cid Restaurants are indoors whereas In Mazatlan there are 4 outdoor places to eat. El Cid Marina Mazatlan have excellent Covid procedures the only failures we have seen were on the ferry to the beach where occasionally we have had to wait for the next trip due to guests on board not willing to wear their face masks. We thoroughly recommend the beach for those seeking peace and quiet - but avoid Saturday and Sundays when many guests are playing loud music. The staff at El Cid have had to endure extremely financial demanding times due to Covid but are always friendly and provide excellent service - we were disappointed that the decision by management to impose parking charges wasn’t to compensate staff for lost earnings but to bolster the finances of El Cid.…
