The hotel offers an breakfast with a large selection and excellent coffee. The pool area is very nice as well. It is a pity that the hotel is in a rather unfortunate position stuck between a cement depot and a construction site. Our room was pretty average and basic although large with hig ceilings. Celaning definately needs more attention as visible dead flies and clumps of hair not good. The main asset of this hotel is their staff in the reception and at breakfast, all of them are welcoming, very nice, friendly and efficient.

That would be the second time we stay in Ftelia. Excellent location 10 min from the town,port,Alemagou... Bar service and the guys there are great. Can't say the same about the reception hospitality. Rooms were clean and the renovated ones are very nice. Great value for money as well.

This hotel was really disappointing for us and we shortened our stay. I don't want to be too harsh as the staff were really nice and were nice when we said we weren't going to stay and refunded us for the days we didn't stay. But... I think its good to be honest so others don't have the same problems we did. 1) its in the middle of nowhere! which you might think is okay but the taxis don't have meters and don't accept card so you could be paying any amount of cash to go to and from the hotel for dinner/sightseeing/etc and theres nothing in walking distance so unless you have a car its pointless to stay here 2) its not a luxury hotel by any means - its more like a hostel/2 star and wasn't that clean - lots of dust in our room and opened bottles of toiletries which during covid isn't great. 3) the pool is TINY!!! definitely not big enough for all the rooms they have 4) no matter what the website says, there is no sea view! its next to a farm and theres no sea view from any part of the hotel, just a farm view 5) the breakfast is really disappointing - they served us uncooked sloppy poached eggs (one wasn't even on the bread)nand when we said they weren't cooked they said thats how it is in greece and refused to cook it more (see photo of completely raw eggs). I will repeat though, the staff are friendly and nice. If you have a car and just want to escape somewhere quiet then yes this is the hotel for you, but if you want to enjoy mykonos and go out and don't have a car... stay closer to the mykonos town.

We had a really good stay at the hotel - it’s a bit off the beaten track but we knew that when we booked and we were happy with a few quiet days. The room was a good size and very comfortable and the hotel is designed and furnished well and feels premium. The only reason we’ve given 3 stars is that the hotel is billed as a 4* hotel and it just doesn’t feel like it. It may tick all the boxes that technically makes it a four star hotel but the service levels are really where it misses the mark. The staff individually were all really nice but the hotel was definitely understaffed, which was particularly noticeable at breakfast when multiple tables were all sitting trying to get served. Covid clearly made it more work for the staff as there was no breakfast buffet, so they should have had an extra pair of hands to help. There were other small examples of service levels, but overall everything could be slightly better. Reception could be more helpful, and have better knowledge of the local area and bar restaurant etc service could be much slicker (not bringing starters and main courses at the same time for example!). Overall not a bad stay, but having stayed in tons of 4* hotels the shortcomings were obvious.

overall a good place to relax, but no good view of the sea, bathrooms were small and difficult to take a shower, frankly did not like the location, also breakfast spread was very small, nothing much for a vegetarian

I thought a lot before making this review but I wished I could have read a comment like this before booking. In fact, the only reason why we booked this hotel are the good reviews and excellent score on TripAdvisor. Except the reception staff which is friendly and willing to help you, everything is a disaster. 1. Our room wasn’t clean when we arrived. Lots of dark hair on the floor, in the bed, in the shower and on the table. It looked like the floor wasn’t clean in a longtime. 2. The odor from the bathroom was horrible and we struggled with it while showering, considering the window is so small that it can’t ensure propre ventilation. 3. The restaurant is ok but overpriced. One orange juice 8 euros. We told the staff I’m allergic to cheese 2 times and I received a steak with Parmesan inside and Greek cheese on the outside. 4. The breakfast starts at 8 so we asked for an early breakfast at 7:30 and we received 2 depressing sandwiches with a slice of cheese ( again ! ) and a slice of ham plus 2 apples and a banana. That was our 4 star early breakfast. No coffee, no water, not even the consideration of asking if we are vegetarians or intolerant to something... We will definitely not recommending the hotel nor coming back !

I loved everything about this hotel! The staff is very friendly and help you with anything! breakfast is very good and versatile. Our room was amazing! very big and the terrace as well. The bed is really comfortable and the room is really clean. I tried out the spa for waxing and also this lady was very kind! This hotel is not expensive and is definitely worth their price. I can’t wait to come back here!

Nice hotel but in a wrong location. I can say that this is more 3star hotel. If you’re looking for restaurants and something to do in Mykonos then it’s better to stay central town as everything here will cost you money. I mean they don’t have free shuttle like other hotels have. And they have service transportation but the driver is not always available and it will cost you a lot. If you’re looking for restaurants then you have to order a taxi to send you down town. Breakfast is fine. Room is clean and nice. Staff is fine. Recommend: Hotel-Yes Location-No

This hotel leaves much to be desired. For a 4 Star it certainly is not. It’s situated in the heart of a dump site, right next to the ugliest place on the island. The surroundings are completely unkept. You’re surrounded by ugliness and the bay is a distance away. The water and electricity at the hotel goes off for many hours, with no explanation each and every day. The once it went off in the evening, for 13 hours, until the next morning at about 11am. This place is not worthy of 4 stars as I get the feeling they try to save every penny by giving the customer a worthless stay. The breakfast is crap, boasting a variety of old pastry and old fruit. The coffee is cold and gross, if you require cappuccino and the like, you’re required to pay extra for it, it is not included in the bed and breakfast. The ladies that work in the bar are very sweet and helpful and they tried their best. We went in September and the weather was cold. We asked for blankets but they didn't have any, instead they gave us extra sheets. Very strange place. We froze for the whole time we were there as there were storms and because maintenance is poor, water flooded our room and at breakfast we were further having to swim while eat. If you want to visit the town or “Little Venice”, you’re required to pay 6euro per trip per person, one way. If you ask to be dropped off at the port, it’s 10euro because here they help carry your bag. Have you ever heard of such nonsense! They do not provide a shuttle service for their guests and it is a supposed 4 star hotel. I was very disappointed to have stayed in this hotel. When we arrived there on the first day, we were escorted to a room that had just been used and which was not cleaned. Thereafter, they gave us a room next to the restaurant on the top floor. The WiFi only works in the reception and breakfast areas, not in the rooms. Ftelia beach which is a 12 minute walk, is not amazing to say the least. The lady at the front desk is quite catish and pretentious with a fake attitude. I think it may be the owners’ daughter. Spoilt brats should not be running front of house at any hotels. The feeling I get is that they gossip about all the guests. Luck would have it that our ferry to Santorini was postponed for a day due to bad weather, we stayed for a day and night at the Grace Hotel. I was surprised that it is rated 4 stars because everything to the service is impeccable. Ftelia bay hotel should just close down and don’t waste tourists time. Your “hotel” is junk!

Bad on me for not doing the research in the first place, but this place was pretty nice, a little bit pricier than the other place we stayed in Mykonos. What irked me was the communication with the site and not necessarily answering my questions directly, mainly regarding on how to get there, if there was a bus, which I guess there isn't one that stops closely. They have a shuttle parked in their drive way, but apparently that costs money.... I stayed at another property in Mykonos that provided a free shuttle. So pretty disappointed with them on this. This property was out of the way of pretty much everything else on the island, but the room itself was nice.
