Welcome to our small, intimate and peaceful beach resort with natural native surrounding you with tall coconut trees, rice fields, water fall, animals, beach and a friendly local community. If you don't like busy places then you have chosen the right place. At Footprints beach resort we can offer affordable accommodations from air-con to fan bungalow and dormitory style. Bar and Restaurant.

Footprints Beach Resort is well known on the island of Tablas, situated around 45 minute drive from the port of Odiongan and around 1 hour from San Augustin making it pretty easy to get to from either ports. It is at the end of a idyllic sand track and is west facing meaning the sunsets are just breathtaking.
We chose to visit footprints after watching Lost LeBlanc’s YouTube channel where he has nothing but positive things to say about the resort. We originally booked a small fan room with a shared bathroom which was absolutely what we expected it to be however once we saw the large air con rooms facing the beach we couldn’t resist to upgrade. The rooms were immaculately clean and extremely comfortable with all amenities necessary (even a hairdryer)! The cleaning ladies also kindly washed our clothes for 100 pesos per kilo.
The resort itself is beautiful with the most gorgeous beach setting with a restaurant on the beach also. The sunsets around 5pm were the best we have ever seen. They offer paddle boards and a kayak for free to use throughout your days on the beach. We had a few days lounging on the beach sitting in the hammocks and also hired a scooter one day for 500 pesos and drove down to Looc to go snorkelling which was good!
What really made this resort stand out to us was the generosity and kindness of the owners Owen and Angie. They assisted us onto our next travels by calling their contacts to get us onto ferry manifestos and also booked us a few tricycles that we needed. On one occasion my girlfriend was in extreme pain and needed to go to the hospital, the owners drove us in their family car down to the hospital and showed us everything we needed. They had genuine concern and compassion for us which was extremity comforting in a country very far from home. Their two dogs are also extremely affectionate and adorable!
If we had to make any suggestions then we would have said to add maybe some salad / more healthier based options to the menu - but that’s just us being picky!
Footprints was a pleasure and a lovely safe environment for all guests, whether that be couples, families or solo travellers. Completely faultless, thank you for making our time in Tablas unforgettable.

I arrived after 9pm when everything is closed down but one of the staff produced a key and showed me to my garden view bungalow. The bungalow is of bamboo construction with a concrete bathroom and is tiled throughout including the porch which had two chairs. My bed with mosquito net had clean linen and was very comfortable. There were side tables with two power points next to one for recharging. There was a shelf unit and a pedestal fan which was as quiet as you could expect. Lighting was reasonable. A small table and chair would be a practical addition. Having a clock on the wall was a unique touch. The bathroom was clean and had a modern feel to it. The separate shower area was cold water with good pressure. I did not miss having aircon as the room never got warm. Probably because the screened louvered windows allowed the sea breeze in all the time. As much as I like a warm shower having cold water only didn't bother me. Traveling solo I can also go without a TV for a few days. However, if I was traveling with my partner I would definitely pay the extra for one of the four beachfront bungalows. The restaurant has a reasonable menu and the food was okay. If you just want to chill out there are sunloungers on the beach and hammocks at your disposal. At night after 8pm when everything is closed down you only hear the waves lapping the beach and crickets. No roosters here. A big shout out to Owen for his local knowledge and assistance. I hope all went well with the birth. Everyone including the staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Even the dogs accompanied me on my beach walks. They all make your stay here very relaxing. One of the best beach resorts I have stayed at throughout the Philippines. I hope to bring my girlfriend back here one day.

Some improvements have been made to the resort since I last stayed here in 2020 eg marquee in the garden area for group seating and a volleyball net on the beach and a floating pontoon that you can swim out to.This time round I booked one of the four beachfront units with balcony, table and chairs. My room was spacious, modern looking and clean. Lighting throughout more than adequate.Everything worked fine. Plenty of shelving to lay clothes as well as coathangers. The shower recess is segregated. Water from the shower was lukewarm but the water pressure was excellent. The food at the restaurant is above mainland prices but that is to be expected when you are staying at a secluded location on an island with hundreds of metres of beach to yourself. The other couple of resorts to the north appeared closed to me leaving Footprints as the only viable option.Some may say it looks pricey but for me the price point is reasonable when you add everything up for what this resort has to offer. It is a holiday experience you won't forget which is why I returned as part of my 'revisiting some of my favourite places in the Philippines' trip. The owners Owen and Angie cannot be more friendly and helpful to their guests. Their two young children and four dogs make up what feels like you are staying with family friends. Overall, an experience to be experienced.

What a great place!! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights and could not have been happier with everything.
10/10 for the accommodation, restaurant, bar, beach and last but not least the staff! Owen and Angie were so nice and helpful with everything, the Air condition bungalow was perfect for us. Clean and spacious and great water power in the shower 😁
Food at the restaurant was so nice, the Chicken Adobo and Chicken Sisig were one of the best Philippine dishes we had during our one month stay in Philippines.
Highly recommend for any traveller that wants to kick back, enjoy the beach relax and have the option to go explore beautiful Tablas island.
Looking forward to coming back again to this great place and then for longer stay!

There’s something very special about Footprints Beach Resort…like you’ve discovered a little piece of paradise! From the minute we arrived, we felt so relaxed. There’s a really chill vibe to the place and we instantly felt like we were staying with friends. Owen and Angie were so nice to us and really made our stay something truly unforgettable. Definitely the best resort we stayed at during our 30 day trip in the Philippines. The food was excellent and the bar is the perfect spot to chill and while away the hours. Our only warning is you might get depressed for a few days after you leave as your body gets dragged back into reality after the bliss of Footprints!

Relaxing, laid back, comfortable. We’ve stayed at Footprints several times & always find it enjoyable. We travel constantly from island to island & really like Tablas & Footprints. Reminds us of Boracay before it was commercialized. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Tablas Island is off the beaten path so getting some ingredients is challenging but they are usually well stocked. We highly recommend this place.

Stunning spot right on the beach, on the western side of Tablas. It is family-run by Angie and Öjvind, with very nice and helpful staff. I had the best X-mas in many, many years with the family, another family (Nicks) and staff. With turkish peppar-shots, glögg and entertainment. Will definitely try to come back ( 5 years Owen!?😉) A very big Salamat Po! 🤗

Loved this place! The rooms are clean and spacy. It’s really quiet and it’s a perfect place if you need to relax. You can rent a motorbike if you want to explore the island. Owners and staff are super friendly and will do anything for you to make your stay comfortable. There is nothing in the area but the food in the resort is really good so no need to go out.

Normally going to paradise in Asia means overlooking some mold, dirt or some smell. NOT here it is so Fresh and Clean, feet at home within moments. have a whole beach for you self, and feel like your lost in paradise. The owners also do everything they can to accommodate you - Highly recommended.

I came here with a friend on what was suppose to be just a morning visit and ended up staying the entire day and all night. It is a beautiful beachfront property, and owned and managed by the friendliest couple on the island Owen and Angie. If we weren’t in the beach we mostly sat at the bar where guests mingled and played cards, enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant, and just had a great time. I wish I stayed here instead but am already looking at my return trip to Romblon so my husband and I can stay here! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Hi,
The beach is clean. The sea is very shallow and has a sandy base with no tide, so you can walk out about 50 metres or so. We were there in February and I did get stung by some Jelly fish filaments that appeared to be associated with some small amounts of seaweed. However I was the only person during our stay to have that experience and it may be the time of year or just bad luck. Lots of others swam and played in the water with no problem. There where children who played safely in the water. They also have a floating raft you can walk out to.
Enjoy your stay, great place.
There are more places to choose from in the Agpudlos area.
