We stayed for three nights and had a lovely time here and left feeling very relaxed and recharged. We booked the Georgian suite which was very comfortable and lots of space. Hotel is full of character and history , but very clean, with all the staff very friendly and very helpful and always willing to help. The food in the restaurants for dinner and breakfast was all cooked to order and was hot and delicious at all times. We enjoyed the small pool/ jacuzzi and sauna and used the functional gymn every day. We had a perfect day of treatments with Elizabeth in the Soul Spa treatments - great massages and facials and reasonably priced. Perfectly located for walking in Burnham Beeches itself, which you can walk to up a very pleasant country lane about 15 minutes. Highly recommend for couples and for a spa day and it is better value than a lot of the other hotels in the area.

This was exactly what “the doctor” ordered and more. From checking in with wonderful Francisco, who truly understands hospitality, to the hotel itself, the room, the amenities and the surrounding areas, it all was so great that I extended the stay. And lucky for me there was a cancellation for a spa treatment which I snapped up. Elizabeth is the most amazing massage therapist, who listens and targets the problem areas very skilfully. Beyond that, she made the time relaxing and fun. Thank you! This has been a truly wonderful experience!

This is a perfect hotel for a weekend getaway from London. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with an added benefit of a bathtub. The restaurant menu didn't seem too exciting at first but when the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Chef clearly knows how to run the kitchen! Breakfast was also good with plenty of continental and cooked items available. We also booked some spa treatments and visited their gym and leisure centre. The leisure centre looks like it's long due a refurb but nevertheless it's clean and has a decent swimming pool, jacuzzi and a sauna. Uber to Windsor takes about 20mins and locally to the hotel there's a nice walk to Burnham Beeches woods and a great pub on the other end of the woods where to enjoy a fab Sunday roast. I would highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a retreat and relaxation.

Dear Liisav26, Thank you for your 5* review of Burnham Beeches Hotel. The team and I are delighted to know that you had the ultimate relaxation when staying here with us whilst enjoying the room décor, amenities, cleanliness and comfort. We always delight in seeing our guests having a great experience and it really makes us all proud to see that all went well. The chef and his brigade were thrilled to read that your dinning experience was top notch. The spa team were equally pleased that you enjoyed the treatments and the use of the leisure facilities and I do hope these will look even better on your next visit as there will be some soft refurb of the facilities soon. Liisav26, should you decide to return, please do get in touch to benefit of direct pricing and returning amenities. Best wishes, Francisco

Having been cancelled in 2020 I booked again for 2021 which went ahead. The staff were brilliant, efficient and friendly making the break very memorable. The hotel room itself was large, modern with lovely fresh cotton bedding which is important to me, clean and with lovely thick soft towels. I could find no fault. The hotel itself, lounge areas and restaurant were lovely. I used the pool, sauna and jacuzzi both days spending quite a bit of time relaxing and reading. The area was clean and well maintained. Soft towels were also provided. The overall Christmas two night package was excellent value. Service and quality of food was faultless. The only niggles I had was the behaviour of some of the other guests allowing children to run up and down, doors banging and knocking to be let back in. My second gripe is that you can check out online which means there isn't really any way you can adequately tip the staff who gave up their Christmas to ensure the guests got theirs. Come on Corus, find a way that guests can tip and show appreciation of your brilliant staff. I fear many didn't. I wish the staff and hotel success for 2022 as they need and deserve the support of guests.

Error and confusion followed by more confusion. I will start with the bad and move to the good: The bad Let's break it down, arrival and restaurant they did not have details of our stay. We felt the hotel was constantly trying to charged extra for things that were pre paid and every time we had to push back. The room was not clean and compared to a travel lodge it was very poor. Dirty towels (picture provided), chewing gum in carpet and nail clippings by the bed from previous guest. No clean seal on the toilet (standard at travel lodge with covid). The restaurant, her comes Basil again, the main came out before the starter and drinks. They asked if we wanted drinks we said yes then they took my order but not my husband's and wondered off forgetting they had asked at all. Again we had pre paid and had to argue with two members of staff. Because they brought the starter out after the main, we were told we were not going to be charged but given we had pre paid and where under budget that meant nothing. The good The food was actually very good. I had the sea bass it had flavour, was well cooked with crispy skin but not dried out, pea mash had nice consultant for some big peas some mashed, artichokes where flame grilled. My husband had a burger which he said was good. Chaux peanut desert was fantastic of you like peanut butter it helped to improve on bad start of the meal. The shower had nice pressure and was easy to get to the prefect temperature. The bed was comfortable- despite being two singles pushed together. The rooms lay out was good, colour scheme and accessories tasteful. In all fairness we were meant to be staying at another hotel who had taken our payment and bumped us to this hotel as they got a group booking. This was the cause of confusion at check in, as inadequate notes had not been put on their system and there was an issue with communication between the hotels. they did give us complementary drinks while we waited 40mins for everything to be sorted. But it was embarrassing, frustrating and ruined the experience from the start. The ongoing issues with constant request for more money at every point added to the over all stay being poor with every part tainted in one way or another. Was it lack of staff, poor communication between staff I don't know. But I won't be visiting again.

Dear Gemsemy, Thank you for your review. I am sorry for the issues you faced upon checking in and all the confusion that ensued. I have addressed your comments with the relevant head of department to ensure that these shortfalls do not happen again, the team members to be retrained and improve the communication process so that everyone is aware of what's happening operationally. I am equally pleased to see that your dining experience was exceptional, the room amenities and layout was to your satisfaction and the team managed to offer you some refreshment whilst waiting to be checked in. Gemsemy, we do hope you will visit us again in the future. Best wishes, Francisco
