Kuredu as 8 time repeaters we didn’t think it would get any better - it is is for us the epitome of luxury and style a stay in paradise. We usually stay in the ‘O’ beach villas and use the ‘O’ restaurant which has incredible views and a beautiful pool. After 5 visits we get the benefits of being able use all facilities and so this trip we used the Sangu restaurant and pool as well and were hooked! Breakfast daily on a table set on the beach overlooking pristine turquoise sea - pancakes or eggs made to order even a honeycomb - they even had Bircher muesli ! - it’s the little things ! Oh and the little bananas grown on the island so sweet and fresh passion fruits were amongst my favourites. The restaurant is incredible - imagine a large Parmesan wheel set alight to melt the cheese into Rissotto rice while you watch ! They have a chef using a traditional clay oven to prep Nam bread and Chicken and fish tikka - using local herbs - everything beautifully presented and so delicious. An all inclusive restaurant where Maldivian Stripe Lobster was on the menu one evening ! blown away. So when I talked about style - it is things like this -the views - pool side service - whilst swimming in the infinity pool. Lounge on the most sublimely comfortable beds and being brought cool cloths and shots or cocktails on a tray ! Since we last visited the Island 6 years ago cocktails have been added to the all inclusive i think that’s pretty rare - I was also able to drink premium spirits - checking out a range of great gins. The house red was a gorgeous merlot which we had ever night. Another change is the gym it has been moved into an amazing building -purposes built with a location overlooking the sea - we didn’t make it for a work out but I did spent an hour in the new beautifully designed yoga hut which is also a gorgeous new addition and has complimentary classes. Although we don’t have young kids we saw there is now a children’s play area beautifully designed and flowing as do all the buildings. In the restaurant nearby there is a station area for the children again so beautifully designed with a mural and at their height to serve themselves - everything just works it was so cute. We ate in the Beach restaurant the last night - we have before but it’s even better - the food was Michelin star quality - the chef came to greet us after we had eaten which is a nice touch. We had an amazing experience dining under the stars hearing the water lapping and our feet in the warm sand. We dived with Pro Divers having a tune up with Remi as it had been a while - he was lovely and very patient helping me regain my confidence - as always the most professional and safety conscious team -super friendly and welcoming - we did all our diving certifications here - as did our daughter when she was about 13 - we first came to Kuredu 2005 - in terms of equipment they even have their own decompression chamber on the island. Were taken by the kind and helpful boat staff to sites were we dived into the blue - seeing ledges of turtles in the caves and in the blue 2 feet away saw 3 grey tip reef sharks swimming past. Hot tea and banana cake always a treat on the way back - but on one occasion an even bigger treat around 30 dolphins a few feet away in the water the boat staff intuitively know how to communicate to get them to come to the boat . And if it couldn’t get any better there is also the spa - We spent several hours at the diniye over the water spa sublime scrubs and massages -floating back to our beach villa to watch the sun go down. Every time we go we wonder whether it will have changed and we won’t want to return but for us it’s just getting better, the prices have increased but so has the style and luxury - and we don’t have the kids to pay for now ! having got back on Monday we can’t wait to return. There are repeater guests who have been here 35-50 times that doesn’t surprise us and you might think why would you do that - probably because nowhere else compares - it’s a beautiful island - and it’s supported by wonderful people so why would you go anywhere else. …

We went for our honeymoon and enjoyed the resort and all it had to offer immensely- it was a true paradise and felt like we were living in a postcard. Aside from the simply stunning surroundings and wildlife what made this holiday extra special was the staff! Every single person we met across the resort was so friendly, professional and welcoming. It felt like one big family which we adored. We wanted to thank everyone for making our honeymoon such a special memory for us. In particular, we want to thank Shafleen, who was our Sangu waiter. Shafleen not only offered an exceptional service during mealtimes but also shared some really helpful tips and advice which helped us make the most of our stay. We also want to thank Albi and Jimesh (taxi drivers around the island) who always greeted us with a smile and good chat and made getting around the island effortless and pleasant. In addition, we want to thank Harrow (our housekeeper), not only was our accommodation kept immaculate throughout our stay, but he even went above and beyond and on a really hot day provided fresh coconuts and explained how they would help regulate our temperature. He did this a few times during our stay which we were really touched by. We also enjoyed our spa treatment (with therapists Linda and Kay) at the Landspa. They were incredibly professional, and we highly recommend their service and the full moon magic treatment for honeymoon couples. We also had an amazing experience with the Prodive team snorkeling with Karen, who was determined to find us a Green Sea Turtle and was so patient and supportive of all of the group. Especially being supportive of myself as a novice swimmer. The food was so good and the chefs great at remembering general likes and dislikes. We also wanted to mention during our stay we played paddle tennis with a couple of members of the team, unfortunately we cannot remember the names sadly, but we had such a brilliant time having that spontaneous game and it was so kind of them to explain the rules and take time to play a game with us. We hope one day to return for another special occasion and see the island and the staff again soon. …

Kuredu gives whatever you want to take the relaxed and friendly atmosphere lets you do the most or least you want,.The staff do not pester for tips, but the service leads naturally to gratuities, We could not have been made more welcome we have had seven visit now looking forward to our eight.

Beautiful island, all the staff work really hard and are very friendly. The dive school is a brilliant organisation with lovely dive sites that will have you coming back. I am sure we will be back (hopefully sooner rather than later!)

The Island was too big for us and it took us a lot of time to go from one place to the other. The good thing is, that the Island has several attractions and you always find something to do. Our room was perfekt, big and comfortable and we were very satisfied. The meal was OK, but it could have been better. The vegetable were always the same and so it was a little bit boring. We are very happy with the personal in general and would like to say, that Samee at the O reception was really very helpfull to us all the time. He ist always friendly and attentive: he loves his job and do it at its best. Thanks a lot , Samee.

Everything from the minute we landed in Male to our return departure was just outstanding. The efficiency of the TMA staff for our seaplane transfer to the island was second to none. The welcome received on arrival at the island resort and the friendliness of host/reception staff eased us in to island life and provided us with all of the info we needed for our stay. Cannot recommend the premium jacuzzi beach villas enough. Perfect location on the island and the pristine white sands with easy access to the jndian ocean. Much preferred this side of the island. The cleanliness of the villa was always top class. All staff that we came across were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating and nothing was ever too much and they went about their work with a smile on their face which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. One slight negative is how much the prices have increase for the same holiday, same time in 2024, which has unfortunately priced us out of a return visit…

The only reason I gave this a 3 star and not 5 is the host that was assigned to us when we arrived!! She was very rude, had a very negative attitude, and very unprofessional comments! Amira started speaking about politics and everything that's wrong in the world the minute she arrived with the forms to fill! She didn't even stop to think maybe we don't want to hear about the world that's going to hell the first day of our honeymoon! She even gave us attitude when we requested to see the villa we originally paid for before the resort decided to give us an upgrade, she let us walk all the way to the opposite side of the island instead of calling a cart to take us, which is a far distance specially after a full day of planes and boats to get to the resort! She also failed to introduce everything that's included in our booking, which restaurants, which bars... etc, To a more positive note, the rest of the staff are lovely, helpful, professional, cheerful and super nice, the villa was neat and beautiful, a bit smaller than what we expected tho but didn't bother us since the view is priceless The island offers many bars and restaurants, so many activities and a different even each night, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! But will ask for a different host next time for sure…
