Comfort Suites Paradise Island is lauded for its cleanliness and prime location, offering coveted access to Atlantis amenities, which guests appreciate. The hotel's rooms, though clean, are often described as musty and outdated, with many travelers suggesting renovations. While the included breakfast and lively atmosphere receive mixed reviews, the friendly and professional staff consistently earn praise. However, travelers are advised to be mindful of hidden fees that may affect the overall value of their stay.

The room was quiet, clean, and it worked for 3 family members including my elderly dad. We appreciated the wheelchair accessible routes throughout the hotel. That enabled my dad to also participate in the pool and complementary breakfast buffet. Staff were very welcoming. I’d come back here.

Rooms are freezing
Stupid DJ blasting music all afternoon around the pool
Hip hop rap gangster music where the demographics of the resort are average white folk in their fifties. I complained to head office about this but they don’t care
Showers spray water all over the washrooms because they can’t afford shower curtains.
Food and staff were fantastic. Great beach but non stop winds from the north at 26 mph, ALL DAY. Rooms are freezing because all thermostats are locked at 17 celcius. I guess they have money to burn

Dear David, Based on your feedback, it doesn't appear that you stayed with us here at Comfort Suites Paradise Island. Shower curtains and changeable thermostats are standard amenities at our hotel. Moreover, we do not have a DJ on staff. One of the great things about vacationing in The Bahamas is the wide range on experiences and tastes that our islands and hotels cater too. At Comfort Suites, we provide a relaxing family atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms and access to all of the amenities of Atlantis at no additional charge. Should you decide to return, we hope that you would consider staying with us. Sincerely, Alexandria R.

So, this hotel is adjacent to Atlantis and as part of the deal you get full access to all of the facilities offered by them. This includes Aquaventure, the pools, beaches etc. When we were there, admission to Aquaventure alone cost $135 per person, so worth bearing in mind.

Comfort Suites is basic but clean accommodation and the staff are very friendly. Housekeeping and maintenance were very good.

The receptionist whilst friendly are not effective. When we arrived at the hotel with a booking made via British Airways, we handed the voucher to the reception but they did not have our booking. After a 14 hour journey we then spent 1.5 hours ringing the UK to try and get hold of someone who would confirm our booking. The hotel did not do anything to try and rectify this, nor did they offer any other solution but just left us to get on with it in the hotel lobby. DREADFUL customer service. They seem unable to make any decisions and would rather chat than help customers.

The breakfast is ok but very boring after a few days and they play the same CD every day which is really irritating. Pleasant staff.

The pool area is quite nice, but from 11am they blare loud music out, so you would find it difficult to relax and chill.

Nassau is exceptionally expensive (particularly for the non US) so this is a good place to stay from that perspective but don't expect good service from reception. When we left the hotel we had asked a question and it took 5 separate visits to get an answer to our question.

Finally sustainability on the island in general and at Comfort Suites is the worst I have experienced in the world. Paper and plastic cups are used in the restaurant for breakfast - completely ridiculous! Plastic cups are used in the hotel rooms and they are even wrapped in another layer of plastic - completely and utterly wasteful. There is no sign of any kind of recycling or care for the environment other than towel washing.

I did not expect much considering the star rating of this hotel, so honestly I only booked it because of the Atlantis perks. The check in was seamless, and overall the staff was extremely friendly. The room looks exactly like the picture, bed was comfy and you have a small seating area and fridge, which was great.
Wasn't too crazy about the bathroom, it was clean however the shower curtain bowed out so far that when you take a shower the water drips out onto the floor creating a big mess. I had to put towels down everytime we took a shower, not the end of the world, but kinda annoying. The temperature in the room was weird, it seemed to be very damp, even when I turned the air up, it just made the room cold and damp.
Now if you want to experience the Atlantis on a budget, this is the way to do it. Day passes are approximately $130 for adults, it's a no brainer. We did not spend much time in the room, so it worked out fine despite the few issues. If you are the type of person that is REALLY picky about room comfort, this may not work for you. Also paradise island overall is pretty expensive, prepare to spend a good amount on food. There are stores located across the street, you can buy snacks, drinks etc and bring them with you to the water park. Given the expenses, I can't debate the value comfort suites offers.

Everything Atlantis has to offer at an affordable price. Booked through Orbitz and there were no hidden fees at all. Instead, we were surprised with a $150.00 credit to their restaurant. We ate there twice and the food and drinks were better than at the overpriced restaurants at Atlantis without the crowds or a need for reservations. The room was clean, we didn’t know we even had neighbors it was so quiet, and everything in the room worked properly including the Wifi. Service was with a smile. Why choose this place? Access to the beach at Atlantis without those prices and a tranquil place to retreat to after the craziness of Atlantis. Wow! Leave your water shoes at home and snorkel with turtles right off the pristine beach. It was my daughter’s first time snorkeling (10 yrs old) and it was no problem for her at all. The free breakfast was a breeze and more than adequate. Atlantis is literally across the street as is Dunkin Donuts and a grocery store with reasonable prices. This is our new spot. We felt safe leaving the property unlike some other islands and it was only a quick trip from the airport. We have been to Beaches Turks and Caicos, Sandals Grande in St. Lucia, Cancun, Tulum, Isla Mujeres, La Romana, Bavaro Beach, Negril, Montego Bay, Cable Beach, Siesta Key...looking for the perfect beach. It’s here and this hotel gives you access to it. Don’t bother trying to see it if you stay anywhere other than this hotel or at Atlantis (read those room reviews first before booking at Atlantis- we overheard a lot of complaints). Atlantis checks everyone who tries to access those beaches even though they are “public.” It’s almost impossible to get to them if you’re not staying at this hotel or at Atlantis. A day pass will not give you access. If you’re coming for the beach, want to avoid the crowds, and not feel ripped off but welcomed instead, this is a safe and fun place to go for couples or families. Heaven for true beach lovers with access to amazing free activities for all ages to enjoy from the aquarium to the water park. Tip: If you arrive before 3:00 pm, they offer a courtesy suite so you can freshen up. Ask them to store your luggage and go check out Atlantis or have lunch instead of waiting for your room. Also, this hotel and everything at Atlantis is cashless right now but everything else like the Fish Fry accepts U.S. dollars. Enjoy! :)

Budget and family-friendly for Paradise Island. The staff is excellent, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are larger, clean, and solid. Many minor issues with the room and most were solved ( safe, phone, lights, towel rack ). The annoying fire alarm went off nightly during our 7 night stay. Ate American breakfast at 7am… it was hot, ticketed, supervised, and better than any Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn complimentary breakfast. Eating outside each day was wonderful! Take your pink hotel card and hotel key to Atlantis to enter everything. The Free Wrist band for Atlantis never worked while we were there… had to take paper card, key, and credit card to the water park… tough on the slides. Bring Ziploc bags. Recommend swimming in the calm ocean between Cove beach and Paradise beach! Recommend the water taxi one way to Nassau… be prepared to wait. Then walk over to Fish Fry for More authentic Nassau and fresh Fish. Cash only everywhere. Bring lots of cash/ room safe

Very nice hotel if you want to be close to Atlantis. Staff, pool, and restaurant are wonderful!!! I had lots of small problems with my room [426] (noisy AC, iffy hot water, leaks in ceiling over sink, sink drain fell apart). While this sounds bad, engineering came immediately to fix them and so it didn't affect me much. This end of the island is ALL about Atlantis, and so if you want peace and quiet this is not the part of the island for you. Many, many children and the prices for food are ridiculous. But the property is gorgeous and clean, the staff kind and helpful. If you want Atlantis, this is where to stay! We did not want Atlantis and did not use our access to its theme parks, yet we still enjoyed lounging by the pool.

It's expensive by most standards, but at Bahamian prices, Comfort Suites offers a very good cost / location ratio.

To be honest we read some bad reviews before arriving & were actually pleasantly surprised. The reception area is nice & although the rooms & pool area are looking a tiny bit dated in places it was still clean & modern enough. The best thing for us was the close proximity to restaurants & of course the free admission to the Atlantis water park.

We also spent a day in downtown getting our history geek on visiting the Queen's staircase & other colonial buildings & walked both ways. It was about a 30-40 min walk each way but helped burn a few calories & we enjoyed seeing some of the real Nassau en route.

The only slight negatives we had were some issues with Wifi in our room (it only worked in the bathroom cupboard, which was quite amusing seeing each other having to stand in a cupboard to check & reply to our Whats App messages etc). I think to be fair it was just a bit of bad luck that our room was right in a corner at the end of a corridor. It must have been just out of reach of a booster & the cupboard was slightly nearer to the hallway on the other side.

Also the breakfast was pretty basic, scrambled eggs & toast etc, but hey it was free & included in the room rate which is a bit of a bonus in Nassau.

The staff were also nice & friendly and we would stay here again if we ever return to Nassau, since the hotel did offer a good price / location ratio & overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here paid $800 for 2 nights, deffinitely not worth it, breakfast was like prison food, had to go to another hotel nearby to get breakfast. Very pricey and not worth the money, better places to stay round that area for a cheaper price. The Que for breakfast was very long and the food was tasteless and cheap. Staff were rude when checking in and I had to keep asking for help which I was not receiving for the washing machines.

The best thing about the Comfort Suites is the staff/hospitality. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We were greeted everyday by the front desk staff, Alex and Tattianna went above and beyond for us. Shakeithra kept our room nice and clean and fully stocked. The security guard, went out of his way to hail us a cab and show me the rates. All the security guards both male and female made us feel safe. The shift manager on Saturday morning, assisted us with getting our 5 day COVID test and held great conversation with us.

I was nervous traveling during COVID-19 but the staff went above and beyond to keep the hotel clean from the lobby to the grounds and most importantly our room.

Complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh daily. The staff in the restaurant were very accommodating especially with small children.

Also, it was a plus having full access to the Atlantis without paying the Atlantis prices!

We will be back and I can’t wait to stay at the Comfort Suites again.

The teen nightclub is on a first come first serve basis and you have to sign up in advance for a spot. I think preference would be given to people at the Atlantis and then opened up if there is room to others.
