The grounds are amazing, the rooms beautiful and the pristine beach as great as can be. Fantastic pools as well, and fine tennis courts. A small minus for overly noicy entertainment at dinner, but all in all a great place to unwind. Strongly recommended.
The Ocean Club is the ultimate luxury beach experience. The accommodations, staff, atmosphere, and dining are first class. They go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met, and always with a smiling face. The beach and pools are fantastic. We also enjoyed the fitness center, biking, and challenging golf course with gorgeous views. We can't wait to return!
As a huge fan of The Surf Club in Miami, The Ocean Club did not disappoint. The service was perfections, the property is gorgeous, the infinity pool is breathtaking and the food is sublime. The concierge will set everything up prior to your stay to include golfing, boating, restaurant reservations and airport transfers. We will be back to our favorite spot in paradise.
We got married 4 years ago at The Ocean Club Four Seasons. We were flying home from a neighboring island in the Bahamas and popped into Nassau for the day and spent the day at The Ocean Club. Had drinks and lunch at Dune and recreated some pictures from our wedding! We have been all over the Bahamas and Baha Mar, Atlantis and the service and staff at The Ocean Club is second to none. Every single member of the staff is so nice and willing to do whatever is needed to enhance your stay. We were not even staying at the hotel but yet we felt as if we were in the most expensive room in the hotel by the way the staff was treating us. Thank you so much Four Seasons staff, we look forward to spending many more important memories with you all. Worth every cent.
We had such a fantastic time there this past Saturday, as we ended up going there for lunch and some drinks, while on port with Royal Caribbean. Food and drinks are definitely are the very expensive side, but the views all around, and outstanding customer service made the day for us. Our server Darius and Vincent truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a phenomenal dining experience. They were super professional, and very personable. We ended up sharing a few dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. I personally love the calamari and conch salad, and my wife loved her salmon sushi roll. The views from the outside Dune restaurant were breathtaking, and the breeze was very nice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and so well maintained. The infinity pool, as well as the main lobby where Casino Royale was filmed were our two favorite spots. We also enjoyed the popular Vesper Martini, which was really good, compliment to our awesome bartender Philipa! Overall, this was such a cool and memorable experience. It's definitely on the very high end side of things, but it felt great spending half a day there. Awesome food, amazing property, and fantastic staff members at every turn! We can't wait to comeback again in the near future!…
Absolutely beautiful exotically appointed property. Room were great with fantastic unobstructed ocean view. Service is more than excellent. Every body was very helpful. All of our needs were met instantly
My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Ocean Club. The property is so gorgeous and laid out in a way that allows you to walk through many lush, tropical areas feeling like you are secluded in the best way. Their landscaping is so manicured, set against a spectacular ocean view. The beach can't be beat with its clear water and soft sand. The restaurant overlooking the shore is stunning, and the infinity pool is perfect for spending the day. The staff is absolutely wonderful, warm and friendly. Everyone was accommodating and a pleasure. There is no better place to stay while in Nassau! A special thank you to the Concierge Team, June, Mercedes at Dune and all the staff at the beach/pool including Calvin, Jermaine, D'Angelo and Francisco. 10/10 recommend.
We've been to the Ocean Club in July '21 and returned in July '22. And the reason is simple: it is the most relaxing experience. It's very important to know what the Ocean Club is, and what it isn't: the OC is quiet, peaceful, laid-back. If you want activities, night life, distractions, etc., you want to go to Atlantis or the Baha Mar; this is not the place for you. Service is attentive and friendly. The food is exceptional--every item. Note that each "outlet" has a slightly different menu. Even in-room dining has unique items (try the Conch Chowder!). People say it's expensive, but part of what you are paying for is space--uncrowded beach, uncrowded pools, personal service. The Four Seasons smartphone app means the concierge is always right there, for anything.
Absolutely phenomenal location and beautiful hotel. * Beach and sea water are phenomenal * Dune restaurant - food great and good gluten-free bread * Versailles garden (one of a kind, really majestic) * Bar was great. They prepare great martinis. * Rooms are very well serviced, multiple times a day. However, the hotel does not meet expectations I'm used to for a Four Seasons. Things that I would recommend to pay more attention to: * Adult pool - water surface not clean, skimmers not working, nobody with a strainer. It was full of bugs and leaves. Suggested to lifeguard but he just responded they clean it up every morning. Consistent with the over-relaxed attitude of most workers in the hotel. * There are not many activities to do in the hotel. It would be great to have more options, particularly water activities (kite surf, windsurf, kayak, hobbie cats, etc). I asked for options to concierge, and all I got was “go to the Atlantis hotel, they have a bunch of things”. If FS best offer is to go to the hotel next door, at least have something very well organized (list of activities, where to go, reservations, etc). * Also it would be good to have a good list of tour operators and offerings (scuba, snorkeling, fast boats, etc, etc). * People from outside hotel using beach lounge chairs (they were let in by the people working in the beach, I saw them handing money, maybe tips, maybe bribery) * Prices - the prices for a FS are expected to be high, but quite frankly in this case they are bordering ridiculous (burger $45, 10yr tawny port $55) * Pool/beach menu mediocre (salad just a handful of greens, no preparation; sandwiches only ok) * Rooms are not FS level (eg, no bath tub, TV with no menu, online options or just a visualizer of list of channels (have to navigate one by one the channels) * Internet too slow, impossible to do zoom calls * Hotel concierge was not helpful * Ask to make restaurant reservations at 8pm for a celebration and if not available to contact us by phone (and left my cell phone). Made reservations at 6:30pm and did not tell us. We stopped by her desk at 6pm to confirm the reservation was made and found out it was done for 6:30, she called the restaurant and pushed only to 7pm. My wife didn’t have enough time to prepare. Then when we arrived at the restaurant (Cafe Martinique), it was almost empty, literally 3/4 of the tables empty. * We asked again for 2 more dinner reservations, didn’t let us know, made it at the wrong times. …
