This was part of four day company retreat but the wife and I extended the trip five days like bookends of a great adventure novel. Everything from the room, the view, the people, the beach, ocean water, lazy river, slides, bars, adult pool and most of all the service was excellent. Check out License to Chill. Shawny was our first introduction at reception which was delightful and of course Tyson the bartender was our awesome second introduction. I thought these were the two happiest, helpful people on the island. Nope. Miguel, what a professional manager, who greeted us like family every time we saw him, was gracious, happy and helpful. I think our housekeeper was Tanya (9th floor). She looked after us and by day one knew our favorite amenities. Charlie's windows are the cleanest on the island - he went above and beyond and offered to get us towels on our first day when I asked where to find them. My hands were full and he could have just pointed over there. Ducky and Loquetia on the beach jumped at every opportunity to help with umbrellas, chairs, kayaks, floaties and advice. Definitely ask about License to Chill. It has a big breakfast, light day time munchies, and light evening nibbles plus adult beverages. It is worth it. Colbert was super helpful. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the awesome female concierge who we saw everyday, was so happy, pleasant, helpful and fun! The bowling and game room across the street is great if it is raining or you need a break from the beach. Definitely go to Junkanoo Beach and stroll the stalls. On Saturday night go to the Junkanoo festival, drink skyjuice and definitely eat at one of the fish fry restaurants. Two really cool excursions was a speedboat snorkeling trip to the turtle preserve and coral reef as well as the crazy pirate jeep tours. Don't miss the chocolate factory tasting, wine tasting and run distillery tasting. Final note: I have been to and lived on 5 continents and travelled a lot. The Bahamians are the nicest, most helpful and fun population I have ever experienced. There is something in the air in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Great adventure at a GREAT hotel and the people made is special.…
We did a day pass to this beautiful resort and Adeline was a wonderful host while we were here!! The accommodations including pool, lazy river, slides, beach access and food were great! My son is already asking when we are coming again!!!!!!
I had a awesome time at margarita beach resort. The food was excellent thanks to chef Charliese Gilbert and the team of vacation cafe, sooo good and service is 10 out of 10. I’ll be back again…let’s go
Robert at the lobby bar absolutely amazing bartender warm welcoming great story First time coming to the hotel definitely gonna book a room this place is gorgeous in cool All the staff I’ve been fired so far it’s been helpful very friendly long around the pools immaculate got a cool lazy river
Clean, food is great (though pricey), and the people are friendly. We spent most of our time at the adult pool and bar where Bartender Robert Kelly took great care of us! Highly recommend for a relaxing time away.
Great service provided by Basil Brooks. Very helpful and provided us with great tips. Request him as your waiter, he will not disappoint! Food was timely and the space was clean. Hostess was also extremely helpful!
Stacy hands down made this the best trip ever. She’s a waitress at Vacation Cafe, she’s fast efficient and professional. She knows what you need before you even ask. The pancakes were the best. This resort is pricey as it is cashless! They don’t tell you that part in advance they also hold a $200 fee per night for incidental in addition to the daily resort fee so beware. Also be sure all your snacking is handled before 4:45pm as a lot of the businesses close around here at that time because the cruise ships leave. That was the only bummer besides that, the pools and beach were amazing, the rooms were new spacious and clean. Will return!
Had the most amazing eggs Benedict at the Vacation Cafe. Ask for Stacy she took amazing care of me. Make sure to ask for the Uncle somebody, sorry I forgot hot sauce, it compliments the perfectly cooked eggs and citrus hollandaise. If you are staying near the Margaritaville.
We just stayed a night here and it was amazing. Beautiful place with great amenities, always good ambiance, spectacular rooms with a view, and the best staff. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Terran at the front desk who checked us in! I will definitely be back for a longer stay!
Ordain and D’alyah from The Parakeets Kids Club I gotta give a shout out to… as a single mom traveling with her child on her vacay… you guys were a life saver! Thank you guys for the AWESOME service!!!!!! I will definitely be back because of your kindness and love you showed me and my son.
