The owners of the Villa were spectacular in every way, the rooms were elegantly appointed, and we walked to picara point which was just lovely! I would not hesitate to tell all my friends about it! Wouldn't think twice about staying there again!
We a group of 9 traveled to Picara Pearl Villa and rented all three of the Villas. Vivian was a great help and had plenty of drinks and snacks when we arrived from a late flight. They even met us at the airport to assist us with our luggage. The Villa's are oceanfront with a wonderful view. The only downside I had was it was very hot. The rooms had air conditioning so at night we slept very well but the main living area and Kitchen would get rather hot. We ended up not using the top villa except one guy with us agreed to stay in it since there is no air conditioner. That was the only down fall but the area, view and staying at such a wonderful place was well worth it.
Very private and peaceful. Beautiful view! The house was big enough for the 9 of us comfortably. All bedrooms had We had everything we needed, including plenty of towels (and beach towels).... that's a plus! The owners are so friendly and helpful. They live in part of the house, but we never even knew they were there! Highly recommend staying!
The location is amazing. Sitting on your private balcony, listening to waves crashing on the rocks is so relaxing. And Vivian is just a beautiful person. If what you need isn't there, she will try to get it for you. Just ask. We were there to get married on the beach, and since we didn't know anyone, invited Vivian and Frank to be our witnesses. She even helped me get ready. I might stay at the Ritz someday, if I win the lottery, but I'm taking Vivian and Frankie too.
my boyfriend and I booked this amazing suite on our vacation and couldn't have been happier. Vivian was so sweet and incredibly communicative throughout our stay. she even made us breakfast a few mornings! there is also a thorough list of restaurants and attractions in your room. the view is the best part of the stay, you are really getting the best location. the fridge is stocked with everything you need and they even included bagels, rum, coffee, soda, and more.
Frank and Vivian were excellent hosts! They and their daughter Esther went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room had everything we needed. A coffee pot, refrigerator and a microwave. (Plus some welcome items!) Our first morning there, we received a text asking if we needed anything. They also made a couple of suggestions of where we could get breakfast. They have a website of all the restaurants on the island with contact information, cuisine offered, and price range. The scenery is phenomenal! We loved watching the seabirds eating breakfast and the iguanas sunbathing in the trees! Their home is in a very quiet, peaceful, part of St. Thomas. One minute walk from the point. We highly recommend staying at Picara Pearl!
Lovely home and location, fantastic sunsets from the veranda every night & sunrises from the rocks on the point a minutes walk from the house. Vivian and Franklin are especially warm and lovely hosts. The house was really comfortable and well-appointed. The point is a beautiful unique place to climb around. 7 minutes drive to Brooks Bar for good local cuisine or Cup and Cork for coffee/lunch/convenience needs. All home grocery needs at Cost U Less 15 minutes drive. Beaches: 7 minutes to Magens beach, 15-25 minutes drive to Hull Bay, Coki, Smiths Bay, & Sapphire beaches. We had a wonderful time.
My daughter and I had a fabulous experience at Picara Pearl Villa & Suites. The communication before and during our visit was exceptional and just in time. I appreciated Esther going above and beyond in her assistance and recommendations. The two bedroom apartment was fantastic with most awesome views and also with very practical services. As others mentioned, we had breakfast fixings, fruit and water in the fridge. We also used the cooler, chairs and beach towels when we went to Magens Bay and Hull Bay. There was even a bag of ice to keep our drinks cool while on the beach. We had breakfast on the balcony and enjoyed the breath taking views and sounds of nature! We will be coming back!
This property has one of the best views of the most beautiful bay on the island. Every morning we would sit on the porch and gaze out at Magens Bay, the sailboats and the brilliantly blue water and it was just gorgeous. Because it is a bit out of the way, it is peaceful and quiet and you don't have to worry about noise or partygoers which we really liked. The layout of the place is really accommodating to two couples. Franklin and Vivian are so nice and welcoming. They had thoughtfully provided all sorts of food and drink so that we didn't have to go anywhere after the long trip. You must rent a car to stay at this place if you want to get to the beaches. We recommend Cokie Beach if you like to snorkel - it has the best variety. Magens Bay is very nice but very few fish.
The place has a great view. The owners are very friendly. We had a wonderful stay. My husband I couldn't say enough good things about this place. In our opinion, this villa has the best location on the island.
