Rooms were ok. Issue with hot/cold water in some rooms. Basic amenities like desk/table/night-stand absent in some rooms. If you can survive without these then its excellent. If you are a business travel however, these things need to be considered.

A small refrigerator in rooms would also be helpful.

We stayed one night after already staying a week in Kingstown then traveling through the Greniadines and staying here on our return. We truely appreciated the quiet & the garden-like grounds. What a nice break from Kingstown! It reminded us of being in Hawaii. The only sounds we heard were birds & the waves crashing on the beach not far away.
We appreciated the architecture and thought that went into the details of the buildings, room, and dining room which was beautiful also. The evening meal we had there was perhaps the best fish dinner we had in the islands.
Giddian is an architect & builder and he and his family run the place and they are very personable, helpful, and did great in helping our short stay be as plesant as possible. He seems to be constantly adding more upgrades to his resort and services. For example, he wants to add a shuttle to the beach & more guest facilities.
The only possible drawback, for some (and a plus for us) may be is that it is on the windward side and somewhat remote from from simming beaches, stores & other restaurants and a rental car may be desired. We arrived & departed via taxi. Other than that we would stay there again for longer, perferrably in one of their apartment villas so we could cook, etc. Those seeking quiet, beauty, and service should really check this out.

My husband and I share similar experiences as some of the other reviews and this includes no garbage bin, no utensils in the kitchenette, a television that was not working, no electricity, etc. This was the honeymoon suite. Sufficing to say, we were very disappointed as this was the first night of our honeymoon. However, the staff was very accommodating to our issues and immediately moved us to another room, which was more equipped. Coupled with the friendly staff and beautiful grounds (in which we held our wedding reception), it was overall a good experience, despite the initial challenges.

The ambiance at Spring Garden Hotel is breathtaking. It definitely gives you the spring garden vybez with the beautiful trees and well kept landscape. When we arrived, we were first greeted by the owner Mr. Brown and the delightful smile of his daughter Iyandi who was filling in as the receptionist at the time. They were very down to earth and went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was excellent. The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very comfy and included all the necessary entities needed to enjoy our stay which included a microwave and fridge. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy the island life, relax, drink coconut water and enjoy natural fruits in a safe, quiet and secluded environment, I would definitely recommend here!

Where do you start, there are 2 reviews already and ours is the same because we are all part of the same bunch of suckers/guinea pigs that were first to stay in this place. The owner has zero knowledge in running a hotel, he should stick to his hardware stores (Browne's Hardware) and sell this. The location has huge potential with the proper people but sadly, that's where it ends.

The first night we stayed in the main building, no water, no dresser and exactly the same issues as already mentioned. With addition, the closet had 3 hangers and not even matching ones. In fact the crap that is attached to clothes at the store. The second day we were moved to the "Honeymoon Suite" If that is what they think a honeymoon suite is, I don't know, but I would call it "Hey hun I hate your guts and we are getting a divorce, lets end it in this hell hole like our marriage". Luckily I adore my wife so that was not the case for us, but here is the deal with this room and only I can tell you this experience because there is only one of these units.

The area is so small and crammed that you need to to leave the room to change your mind lol. There litterally 2 feet of space all around the bed and and with the swamp chiller or whatever the others called it on one side I hardly had room to go around the bed. Speaking of the bed, I was certain I was sleeping on a box spring. It was as hard as sleeping on the floor. In the morning I checked and no, it was is a matress but the absolutely cheapest excuse for a set of springs and a blanket you can buy at a dollar store. It was brand new and still had the plastic on it.

After 4 days, our sheets had not been changed so we asked the owner's son (or in law) what is their policy on changing the bedding. He replied "daily". Well guess what, not even close. Our sheets were promtly changed but with brand new one straight out of the package...not even washed yet!!! That was the exact issue with the towels, brand new, never even washed yet before use. Don't these people know about the diseases that might be on these things and must always be washed before use.

The toilet was cracked and leaked and we would have a constant smell of sewer in our room. After a day of being closed up in that heat it was pretty rich and it would take a while to air out. The shower had no handle and wouldn't close properly. They never cleaned the bathroom even once during our 9 day stay. The shower had it's own heat coil which theoretically would have given the "luxury" of hot water but the owner knew and did NOTHING to fix it...instead sent two guys at 10 pm fix the tv which worked only that night. He owns a bloody hardware store and he has everything at his disposal...terrible! There were no excuse for this stupidity.

Because the toilet leaked and the shower door that did not close, the floor in the bathroom was constantly wet and they would place these stinky mats only to make the smell even richer. As soon as we would get back from an excusion, they were immediatly tossed outside. We started hording towels because they were scarce and we were using them to dam the sewer water so we wouldn't step in it at night.

The door handle to the balcony was not screwed and you couldn't use it to pull the door shut because you would be left with the handle in your hand and door still open. I had to pull the door closed using the locking knob. The handle came off when the owner was there with the 2 guys to fix the tv, and fell on the floor. He picked it up, placed it back on the door and went on as if nothing had happened.

There is a white cabinet in the pictures they posted...guess what, the handles for the doors are FREAKING INSIDE. Picture attached. The main door has a huge clear glass about 10" square and gives a 100% clear view of the bed, everything. The lack of privacy in the bathroom was no different in here, in one instance the owner's son came to our unit to drop off towels and my wife was in the shower. We was totally trying to sneak a peek and the only way I could stop it was to step out and close the door to block his view.

There was no where to put your clothes but this unit has a "kitchenette" Basically a fridge and a sink. In there, was shelves with a louvered closet door. We put all our clothes in there and our suitcases in front of the door. Daily, the cleaning staff would move our suitcases, move our clothes to put 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 face cloth for 2 people. Stupid is too kind a word.

I won't go on about the food portion because that's another story and not related with this place. That was privately run and had it's own pile of messes and problems. I will end that one there.

I firmly believe EVERYONE should be reimbursed for a portion of this terrible vacation but I have very little faith that we will ever see anything. Lessons in life...do your homework before you go and friend or no friend, stick with your gut feeling. Mine was set on no, but a friend convinced to go.

Where do I begin....oh my...!!! First of all, RUNNNN, don't walk. This place is not even for the birds. Even they are well aware of the necessities of life. We came to spend a week for a friend who was celebrating a semi retirement. A week was way to long. Each suite as a tight little box, hastily painted and stained, privacy excluded. The bathroom had windows, no panes. As one enters the room, one can see straight thru' to the tub. I kept reaching my hand through the open space in disbelief. Next to that is the bathroom door, made like a French door. So while you sit on the bowl, there is no privacy. There was also no privacy between the actual room space and the bedroom. That too had windows, with no panes. Missing - garbage/dust pan; standard toiletries in a hotel bathroom; somewhere to place your luggage other than the bed; a half way decent chair and or table; ceiling bulbs; don't call the help desk at night. ..no one there)A/C; working adapters; warm water...heck, just water!; tissues; an iron (if you happened to have that, think you are entitled to an ironing board...think again!). Included: 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 bah towel (for 2 people); a swamp a/c unit; a 20 inch TV in Chinese or Japanese, not yet set up; 1 roll of toilet paper; a totally clueless, stingy owner. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I am still there. I will relay the final saga after my trip.

The resort is located a mere 15 to 20 minutes from the new airport. It is the only one in the area. It has 30 rooms. The grounds are okay. Some rooms faced the ocean. Ours faced a mud bank. There was no "room" service as listed in the amenities section. The "resort" has a pool that is more like a wading pool. There is no telephone in the room. There is no one at the desk at night. If you needed an extra pillow or a roll of toilet paper or an extra towel (scarce supply), during the day, the 2 individuals at the desk could provide that. There is no exercise room, activities coordinator (for children or adults), etc...as one would expect at a standard resort. There was no A/C. There is a swamp cooler unit that spritzed water into the room to help cool it initially. However, when the moisture builds, it felt more like a sauna. There was no place to put your suit case; some rooms had a desk and 1 chair. Our room had two small night tables and two small, see through neon chairs on which we placed our suit cases; no place to sit other than the bed; no dressers; if the room had an iron, or ironing board the other was unavailable; no mini fridge in the room or ice machine in the hallway; no privacy - the bathrooms had window openings without panes; the door to the toilet/bathroom were single French doors which gave no privacy; the 110 outlets may or may not work, and no adapters available. The first 5 days we were there, we either had no water, or trickles of cold water for a bath. Some people had no water at all. The hot water became available only on day six, intermittently. A small flat screen TV was on each wall (some rooms had a small mirror next to the TV). They were not programmed - so when you turned them on, they came on in Japanese (it could have been Chinese - who knows). Ours only worked for 15 minutes at a time. We had to keep unplugging it for a few minutes to let it cool. When we reported it to the "front desk", they said that other guests had similar complaints. The TVs were not fixed during our stay. Overall, not an enjoyable experience. By the way, if you research, you will find one photo of the facility with bedspread an origami decoration. That is the only one - for show. "Housekeeping" made the bed. Our bathroom sink was not cleaned during the duration of the sty. The rooms are below basic in terms of convenience and decoration.

The two staff were quite pleasant, and could not be blamed for the under performance of the facility. If you are okay with paying for resort quality service and receiving nothing close to it, this is your "resort". If not, spend your hard earned dollars here. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

This was my first visit to St. Vincent and I cannot in my right mind recommend this hotel to anyone. This should be call a motel instead. I spend a week and its only because of Ms Trent I stayed. She had each day planned out so we left the hotel early and then came back late to party with her and her friends. I had hot water on the first day and after that no more hot water and sometimes no water at all. Ms Trent had to give me a cup to use so I can bath. There was no phone in the room, no working outlets, no fridge, no working TV, no cabinet to put your clothes in, and no privacy in the bathroom since the door is glass. Ms Trent went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and for us to see St. Vincent from her eyes. I had a great time so I was able to over look the problems the hotel had. I love St. Vincent and will be back again but I will not stay at Spring Garden Resort unless all the necessary corrections are made especially the water problem.

Visited Spring Garden Resort in February for a week to celebrate our dear friend retirement. I have never visited SVG before so was super excited.
The Resort grounds was beautiful but my excitement was short lived when we entered the room. There was no garbage bin, one set of towels, no phone to call the front desk, no iron or ironing board, no working 110 outlets to charge our phones or to even use a blow dryer or curling iron, no hot water to take a shower and a TV that was not working.
I asked for another set of towels for my spouse and another pillow and was told there was none. After a day at the beach, on our return to the resort there was no water to shower or wash my hair.
Definitely the worst Resort I ever stayed at. It should not be called a Resort because it definitely is not.
SVG was a delight and would visit again but would not stay at this place again.
The house keeping staff was amazing and was always willing to help. I hope management take note of this review and make some serious changes.

I stayed for 3 nights there and it was a bliss! The experience was very homy starting with Wendy and her wonderful smile and vibe every time she served a meal to Ms Allen and her very convenient flexibility and tips. Even the owner Mr Browne showed me the gardens and the birding spots in the property.
Grounds are full of nature. The spectacular views to the Atlantic Ocean on the top of the ridge are breathtaking.
Wendy surprised me with amazing vincentians meals. She even explained what they were and gave some tips to cook!
The grounds are full of nature, good birding and great photo ops.
Will love to come back with friends or family to enjoy more this place!
