Cannot say enough about the friendly, kind, and trustworthy staff! The dive operation was top notch and I cannot say enough about their professionalism, attention to our safety, and their overall solid SCUBA knowledge and experience. Special kudos to Frankie, Rosie and Yannis for making our experience the best. My brother was certified on site and I re-certified and could not have felt more comfortable knowing that they were there to help me have the best experience. I was so sure of their operation that I will bring my 11-year old her to learn to dive with them. But what sets Cayman Brac apart is the staff. It was clear that they were part of the hotel family and not just hired help. I was amazed and happy to see that the staff eats in the bar area with the guests, which indicates how they are valued for the wonderful people that they are. They were warm, friendly and made us feel welcomed and cared for every moment. Our lovely bartenders were always open to making a special drink and having a good chat. We especially enjoyed learning about their lives and culture, as well as singing karaoke with them. Front Desk folks went above and beyond and made sure to make my father's last dive memorable - as well as made sure to rearrange rooms to accomodate a request to make travel with my family easier and more enjoyable (bless you Manager Caz!!!). The wait staff in the dining room were attentive, hospitable and also a joy to get to know. I looked forward to our daily chats. And our room was always spotless. Thank you so much Cayman Brac Beach Resort. Will definitely see you again!

As a Dive Shop owner and Dive Trip leader, (two trips to this resort), I can say that the crew at Cayman Brac Beach Resort is as good as it gets. The Dive Shop and staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. They squeezed in three of our divers at the last minute during on a fully booked and hectic kid camp week. Thanks to the great Dive Shop staff at CBBC Our clients were able to complete their open water dives and able to get in additional fun dives during their stay on the island. Albeit, it’s not ideal to spring last minute bookings on any resort (and it’s not always possible that will work), but the Dive Shop staff made it work for our dive clients who had a wonderful time. This is what makes this resort (and their family of dive resorts) so special. 😄 Thank You!

Magical. Valet diving among vibrant and colourful reefs and creatures, including various sharks, rays, turtles, tiny jawfish to Goliath groupers. Very comfortable accommodations, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, fun daily activities.

Where to begin… absolutely first class operation from the resort ( rooms, food, bar, entertainment and management responsiveness), to the dive operation. We have been to this resort before and while this was our second trip to the resort, I wouldn’t hesitate to return again. As to the diving, the Reef Divers operation is first class. From the VIP service, to the guided dive sites and once back to the boat letting you continue your dives for up to 60 minutes. We were fortunate to have Ragnar and Rosie as our two guides this week and both were absolutely fantastic to dive with. This resort is definitely geared towards divers ( meal times, activity times etc) but there were non-divers also…. Although likely spouses. The resort isn’t cheap from a cost perspective, but everything in the Cayman’s is expensive as the resort costs are likely high. Have stated that, the quality all around is well worth the money paid. If you are a diver that wants to experience some fantastic diving, then check out the Cayman Brac Bech Resort.

I traveled with my local dive shop, Action Scuba, from Montreal, Canada. We did a week (6 days) of diving and got in 16 dives. Upon arrival on Saturday evening, the resort helped you get settled by getting you checked in and explaining the dive and equipment logistics. The dive shop is on site, and the rooms are very close to the pool, bar, dive shop and main dinning room, making it very easy to go back and forth. There were 4 boats going out the week I was there and we only had 1 morning where the weather wasn’t ideal, but they made up the dives the next day. The normal schedule is 2 dives in the am, with an optional 3rd in the pm. Bar and hotel staff are very friendly, and happy to serve you elaborate cocktails of your choosing or try the cocktail of the day. On the diving side, you are assigned a boat at check-in. You stay with that boat and crew for the week, making it easy get friendly and get into a routine. In my case, our group had Ragnar and Rozie. who were extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. They both were eager to run around and move equipment, check tanks or help you with any equipment issues. We had a very experienced dive group, except for myself, so I think they gave me a little more attention with my weighting and giving me tips and tricks. Your BCD and regs stay on the boat all week, as they fill tanks right in the boat. Back at the dive shop they have wash bins and a common storage locker for your washing/drying needs so you don’t need to bring anything big back to your room. The weather during our week was great so only 1 morning were we not able to go out due to wind and waves. However this was made up the following day with 4 dives. The dive locations we did were mainly a mix of coral fingers and wall dives. We also did 2 wreck dives but the Russian destroyer was a highlight dive. We also did a trip to Little Cayman, the sites we did were very nice, but the trip is 1hr 1-way. In terms of wildlife, we saw a lot of small critters and fish. The big highlights included seeing a hammerhead on 2 occasions ( by a couple in our group), a massive loggerhead turtle, a few friendly hawksbill turtles, barracudas and groupers. We also saw a couple of reef sharks. The big fish were somewhat rare during our week, so seeing anything big was a treat, but each dive seemed to have 1 or 2 memorable encounters. My only disappointment would have to be the room air conditioning. It turns on and off trying to keep pace, so it woke me up more than a few times each night. You end up making the compromise between no noise or no air conditioning. Other than that the room is clean, had plenty of towels. Mine did not have a mini fridge. Food was buffet style all week and varied each meal. I had no complaints about the food and my willpower not to visit the dessert table only lasted a day. Overall, a dive resort is not like going to be like a 5 star hotel. You are there to experience nature and bond with other like minded people. The atmosphere created by location, facilities, the staff and divemasters is truly exceptional and look forward to coming back as well as trying their other locations.

I have been diving for 20 years, and never had the service and excellence. From great food options, to the smaller intimate feel, to amazing diving, it was all 5-star. The staff on the boat knew everyone by name at the end of day 1 and all I had to do was sit down to put my fins on and my gear was there as soon as I looked back. The dive guides were great at laying out the plans and options on each dive. More importantly giving great accuracy in depth to have a SOLID plan going into the water and where the best places to spend time to see the most diversity of sea life. I can say enough about my experience here other than I can not wait to be back here or one of their sister resorts.

This was one of my favorite hotels for a dive vacation. Due to our reservations to dive, the shop picked up our gear from our doorstep early the morning of our first dive. For the rest of the week they took care of it. The resort was quiet except for the activities each evening (food buffets, BINGO, trivia, etc). The pool was clean, the bar was open, and the food at the buffets was always good. They get all their food each week from Miami, so it often felt like you were at a buffet in the US. There was always a variety of options to eat, and 3 choices for dessert!?! I was hoping for more seafood (since we were on an island), but a few nights it was definitely and option. Happy this place was able to make it through the pandemic. It is worth a visit!

We recently had an amazing week of scuba diving, dining, and relaxing at CBBR! The accommodations overlooking the ocean/pool/hot tub with balcony were quite comfortable. The dining options were varied, plentiful and quite tasty. The bar staff, especially AJ, Chino, and Neil were fantastic, especially when it came to making our favorite coconut mojitos after a day of diving. The Reef Divers operation took valet diving to the next level taking care of setting up all our gear so all we had to do was have fun and breathe! Special shout out to our dive team of Yannis, Oli and Laura for making sure our dive experience was safe and enjoyable! It’s clear they love what they’re doing! The sunrises and sunsets were also absolutely breathtaking and the pool and hot tub were the perfect way to unwind after a day of diving. The resort also offers evening entertainment/activities from bingo, trivia, karaoke, cornhole, and an amazing beach bbq . Overall, if you’re looking for a top-notch all-inclusive, this is the vacation spot for you! Thank you to all of the staff at CBBR for making it such a memorable trip!

While most divers go for one week, we opted to split our time half and half with Cayman Brac and their sister resort Little Cayman. Each Resort. The Cayman Brac Beach Resort is a relatively compact - the hotel area, pool, dive shop and dining/bar area are all within a 2 minute walk from each other. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. Chino, Mark TJ at the bar; Lisa, Arnold, Makeisha in the dining area; Caz and Walter at the front desk. The room was large and clean with a soft mattress and a small balcony with pool and ocean views. The room had 4 bathroom towels and two beach towels. Plus a fridge. The meals were quite good with pretty mainstream food and preparations. The desserts were definitely a notch above the entrees with homemade cakes, pies and cookies. Always fresh salads at lunch and dinner and fresh fruit at breakfast. The drinks were well mixed by the bartenders. If you are looking for a convenient one stop shopping vacation for good diving, its easy to recommend Cayman Brac Beach Resort. PS- The onsite dive shop Reef Divers is a separate company and we will review them separately. But suffice to say, Reef Divers maintained the same level of quality of staff and execution as the resort.
