Ocean Wave is a new property completed in 2010, located on the beautiful island of Cayman Brac. Ocean Wave features the comfort and convenience of apartment-style living coupled with the location and atmosphere of a beach house. The property is comprised of three semi-detached one and two bedroom units centrally located in the district of Stake Bay, with a beautiful private beachfront for relaxing and swimming with 2 world-class dive sites just offshore.
Unit 3 is a one bedroom house with ALL the amenities. When you check in to this house, just bring yourselves and you're ok.
Imagine yourselves having your breakfast daily with the best ocean view! Nothing can beat that! If you want to relax, try swimming as the water is very clear. If you're feeling tired, just relax on the small patio have your cup of cold drink and wait for the sunset. Best view!
The host/owner, Ms. Carol, is the most awesome host in the world! A very sweet lady who treats her guests as family. She's always ready to assist on whatever you need; taxi and tours, car rental, masseuse, restaurants, etc.
When returning to the Brac, for sure I will check-in again in this apartment.

Ocean Wave's 2 Bed, 2 Bath unit was the ideal stay for our business trip to Cayman Brac. The unit is right across from the beach and a short drive to amenities and attractions. The bedrooms were comfortable with air conditioning and wifi. Carol Sue was helpful and communicative.

I have stayed in both the 1BR and the 2BR and they are excellent accommodations on the Brac. Very comfortable beds, always immaculately clean, and very easy dealing with Ms Carol Sue who is an absolute sweetheart. Highly recommend Ocean Wave!

Stayed at Ocean Wave some years ago for a long weekend & it's an amazing place to stay. So peaceful, no one around to disturb you, the view is amazing. Ms Carol Sue is such a pleasant lady. If I could give 10 stars I would & def recommend other's to stay.

We have found Ocean Wave Apartments to be a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life - from a few days to long-term. We have stayed there twice now and we found the apartments themselves very clean and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need included - from towels, to laundry detergent, to basic seasonings. There is even a barbeque grill! And if you find you need anything else, the proprietor is always willing to get it for you. The location itself is beautiful – pristine waters for swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing and walks on the beach at sunset are just a few steps from your front door. There is a breezeway where you can set up a hammock (also provided) and enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of waves on the shore. Although there is very little traffic nearby, you are still not too far from grocery stores, post office etc, as well as from nature walks, rock climbing and cave exploration spots. This well-kept secret getaway spot is well worth a visit.

The apartment has all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen, high speed internet, local phone and cable TV. The ocean is right across the road, viewable from a small shaded front porch. Beach access with good snorkeling (and diving, if you do that) is just a few steps away. And the host is very helpful, offering “insider” tips: suggesting a car rental agency, restaurants to try, and a tour guide for us. We felt this week as if we made a friend in Carol Sue. If you stay, and want to explore the whole island and eat out in the evenings, you’ll probably want a rental car. We tried without one for a few days and were happy with the flexibility of having one the last part of our trip.

Carol Sue's home is lovely, very well taken care of, and in a very quiet but good location on the island. The store is within walking distance and she has bikes for rent. Anything we needed, she was so punctual and efficient to help us with. A great hostess. Would stay here again! Thanks!

I had the good fortune of finding Ocean Wave, apt. #3 during an unexpected stay on Cayman Brac. Recovering from a dive incident, I was looking for a reasonably priced lodging that wasn't remote located, and I most certainly found that, and more. The unit was clean and fully furnished, and I was not wanting for anything during my stay. Comfortable and spacious, the unit's location allowed me walk to nearby a market and swim across the road in the ocean, or walk the beach: perfect for me. Ever the accommodating, knowledgeable and gracious hostess, Carol Sue Ryan, the owner, assisted me in answering questions about exploring the island and in locating a car rental. She followed up on the phone and e-mailed me to ensure I had no further questions or that I wasn't lacking in anything. The WiFi was a strong signal which was important to me in keeping up with family at home. The many appliances within the kitchen facility allowed me to prepare my own meals with ease. All in all, I can't think why this rental unit wouldn't please you.

Our first time in the Caribbean, the tiny island of Cayman Brac was our home for 4 nights (5 days) and an experience we’ll remember as our ‘home from home in paradise’. Our host Carol-Sue met us at the airport after flying over this jewel of an island on the short flight from Grand Cayman. Just 12 miles long and 1.5 miles wide we read up on the island in the brochures, books and maps left for our use, in the cool of the excellent air conditioned one bedroom apartment. With 29 degree temperatures outside we wanted to make the best of our time during our short stay. The apartment was spacious, homely and comfortable with a proper kitchen and bathroom/bath & shower. Plenty of towels for the apartment and the beach. Spotlessly clean, light and airy in attractive grounds right across the very quiet road next to the sea with plenty of parking space. This will become our ‘home from home’ when visiting Cayman Brac in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

There are no restaurants on site, but there is a grocery store within walking distance and a full kitchen and dining area inside each unit. There are restaurants within 2 miles of the property.
