My girlfriend and I stayed at this very cute and charming boutique hotel. The rooms had a cute tropical vibe to them. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Eddie. 10/10 would recommend staying here again!

If you lack skills, empathy and basic decency, you have no business to run a so called hotel. From check in on 07/03/2021 to check out on 07/06/2021 it was a non stop nightmare. we had to stay as PR Hotels were full and we could not change hotels for 3 days. This has to be the Fawlty Towers of PR minus any saving grace. This "facility" is located in a high crime area and has no security to speak of so beware. The so-called "sister hotel" touted in the by-line will not open their doors to you for breakfast or pool use. The "boutique hotel" itself has NO RESTAURANT OR EATERY, The much mentioned BOAT BAR is non functional. The staff appear to have been selected for rudeness and incompetence. Our suite had a non working HVAC unit and there was no Manager on premises for the duration of my stay. There were no maintenance personnel and no room service. If you like the heat, mosquitoes and the run down feel, stay here.

My ID and Social Security card was in the bag and he was so rude did not offer any type of help

Very nice location near places to walk to eat, beach, not too far from airport. Room prices are high for what it is. Its very quaint, spacious rooms, great outside bar (when it's open), but no elevator, tiny pool, and the rooms are getting shabby (we had 3 rooms). Torn drapes, windows don't close, old couch, saggy bed, dripping shower. Not as clean as it should have been. Helpful staff but the place is deteriorating. We've stayed there 6 times in the past few years, but no more.

I stayed in over 40 hotels in my life with an average good (8+) review, and this has been the worst. The good: close to the beach and small pool in the hotel. Bar and restaurant are currently closed, but good common areas to hang. The bad: dirty room, ridiculously low water pressure (3 minutes just to rinse shampoo), no hot water, no wifi in the room. Broken windows, mosquitos, sandy and sticky floors. Stained mattress and dirty bedding sheets, burned curtains (cigarretes). Room 128. The worst: unfriendly and un-accommodating staff. Denied to switch rooms because of lack of availability (but available to reserve in booking and their own website). Denied to cancel reservation for 4 nights (or kindly offered to cancel, but not be refunded… ???). Asked to talk with the manager and was “working from home”. Was not able to reply to an email regarding this issue for 4 nights. Due to COVID, no maid service offered, so I cleaned the room myself (after checking in) and changed sheets after seeing some suspicious stains.
