not good at all. Parking for the entire hotel amounts to 8 cramped spaces. Reception area unkept and, barely any seating to accomodate registration. WIFI did not work in the room or outside the room. The bathroom was outside the room up a flight of stairs. Towels and rags were scarce, had to be waiting to get same, as they were being washed. Soap in bathroom finished, not replaced. the toilet was dirty, had to clean before i could let my kids use it. bathroom shower pipe broken, hard to turn on. When i opened the bedroom window, all i saw was dirt and grime. Bedroom itself was musty, pillows flat and heavy. The private kitchenette was being used by all un-sundry, as the main kitchen seemed not to be working. Breakfast variety grossly lacking and area dirty. Cost way too expensive for type of stay and service.I had to leave early, could not bare it anymore. of course they would not refund me the money for the nights not stayed. The broken swimming pool is on the roof top, which was being fixed for the entire time we were there, we had to climb almost a hundred stairs to get there and back. on my last day, i was awoken at about 6:30am by a loud banging, to let persons in the kitchenette, to do group cooking. the worst hotel experience i have had to date.

I liked the room clean and the staff were so good to us. Whilst we were there I surprised my wife with rose petals on the bed and they helped to do the set up chilled the champayne. Candles cake all well set up in the room.

I must admit that I chose this place as the only available one at short notice as my previous booking had been cancelled with another hotel but I have no regrets! The staff was very supportive. Hubby and I stayed for 2 nights from Feb 20th to 22nd. We wanted some quiet time alone out of town and this place fulfilled that need. We got to choose the room of our choice although most of the rooms are basically the same each of them is unique in their own way. Not many persons were there at the time which was great and we chose a room at the rear of the premises so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The pool was lovely(especially because we also had that to ourselves) so too the a/c the nice big comfortable bed and the hot and cold water. No problems to report. Wish I could have stayed longer. If u want a secluded spot to relax for a few days close to town with basic amenities then this is the place! Would definitely recommend and would be returning!

This hotel was one of the few that had last minute rooms available when our earlier booked hotel cancelled the reservation, so we booked it for 1 night. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path on a hillside - in a walking distance from the Main street, but not a journey you would want to take when it's dark outside. $5 in a taxi. During our stay, the hotel looked almost empty, but the twin bed room we had booked was not available - it was substituted with a queen bed room with a roll-away bed. Not ideal, but OK for a one night stay. The room was clean, but quite small; the AC (although effective) was very loud so we had to turn it off for the night. The bathroom, although spacious and nice, had no hot water - a problem was fixed when mentioned to the staff, but reappeared the next day. The restaurant was not operational and the bar had a limited choice of drinks and snacks. The pool itself looked OK, but the few pool chairs they had were old and worn. The personnel was very very nice, but the hotel itself is rather tired-looking. It seemed like it had seen much better days in the past. It could once again become a nice hotel. Definitely too expensive for the price they are asking now - 1/3 of that and we would have been happy. Works as an emergency option, but not as a 'home base' during one's stay in Ocho Rios.
