Horrible...........the worst experience we had in the Dominican Republic resorts............and the worst thing is we have just 3 days since we are.here and another 10 days left of.thos nightmare. We are a group of 14 people family's and friends with kids...(the only Good thing for.the. kids the water park). We have booked the first 3 restaurants one in each night until.now one Italian and we get uncooked risotto some.bread with tomato that they said is pizza from all.the restaurant that was in that time.everyone left with hunger..Next day Brazilian what a waste ........they gave to the kids pasta woth the bad sauce and burned aswell ...for.the kids menu ...I took it.the chef to try the pasta and he said he is not allowed....Horrible and really embarrassing to give bad food to the kids..... Third night the French restaurant ...was a bit our mistake because you have to book the restaurants for.3 nights only and we.was thinking is 9:30 bur we had the booking at.9 and they didn't let us inside.tjey had no one there but we couldn't go in because they are way to lazy and they don't give a sh..t about the costumers.....so we end up.in the buffee that really is staring to be worst and worst every day...... so be smart and forget about this resort if you want to enjoy your holiday and have a good time.for the money that you paid after a full year of work . HORRIBLE

Yoel and Melvin were very friendly. Excellent service. Our only complaint was that the venue airconditioning was off and was too hot to feel comfortable to eat!!! Other than that the food and service was great!!;

Japanese restaurant..........hibachi style. Fun for the family with two kids. Yeimi was our chef and did fantastic. she let us join in on the cooking...chopping and tossing food...gave us a warning before lighting the fire so we could get some good pics. Our favorite meal so far, and taste great. Worth it

Maikel was absolutely outstanding in keeping us informed about the entertainment options throughout our stay. I stayed here in October 2022, safe to say it was the worse 3 days of my life out of a 10 day holiday and left. Thankfully Tui offered a hotel change to the Riu Palace (at extra cost) but was more than happy to leave this so called hotel. The place needs condemning!! After several room changes due to a very strong smell of damp and musk the cleaners even tried to mask one of the rooms with air freshener, I was then greeted with what I can only describe as something in the room that belonged at the bottom of the ocean. Food awful Pool awful Entertainment awful Cleanliness (non existent) You get the jist I always take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt as people like to complain over minor things but I honestly wished I listened before booking this hotel, I actually wiped my feet on the way out. Do not bother wasting your time or money. Fortunately after leaving this hotel on the 3rd day we then enjoyed a fantastic 7 days in the Riu Palace Punta Cana, which upon my return and complaint to Tui I received a full refund and compensation for the additional cost of moving hotels I was never going to bother ever writing a review but after hearing someone my partner knows who is currently there and are absolutely hating it, I felt it is only fair to share my experience to try and deter people from wasting their time. This is just a small snippet of what was experienced and I will never in my life recommend anyone to visit regardless if there is a Tui sale or not, they need to remove this from their brochure, clearly they never listened to my feedback in my original complaint. I am certainly no snob but for those that have enjoyed (enjoying) and continue to return then your standards a very questionable!

My first visit to the Dominican Republic has been a treat. I usually do hot vacations in Mexico but the Dominican is just different enough to be interesting. The resort is beautiful and the beach is great. The buildings are well kept and modern. The set up here makes for quiet rooms but lively public spaces. The staff are eager to please and do get things done but not always as quickly as North Americans are used to. The buffets here are like many - lots of variety but food is not always hot. The a la cartes here are varied- some good and some disappointing. The nice thing here is that you can book an a la carte every night. Be sure to include French, Brazil, Mediterranean and Italian but maybe skip Japanese, and Tex-Mex . One other hint- just don’t order beef. The other thing we noticed here is that many guests are from South America, Uk and Canada. This is a very family friendly resort with many, many children. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

We had the most amazing meal at the Japanese restaurant (a la carte). Our waiter Janel was prompt, took our orders and always with a smile. Johnny entertained us whilst cooking the delicious food at the Japanese restaurant at the grand sirenis resort. Well worth a visit. Johny was fab, he kept the whole group entertained and engaged.
