Welcome to the most exclusive resort destination in the Caribbean—Casa de Campo Resort and Villas—a stunning 7,000-acre hotel, resort, and residential community in La Romana on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.
Our tropical playground features a unique array of amenities, including an expansive marina, tennis courts, and polo facilities. Casa de Campo is also one of the most sought-after Dominican Republic golf resorts featuring three championship golf courses — including Pete Dye’s masterpiece, Teeth of the Dog, the #1 ranked course in the Caribbean and number 39 in the world.
Shoutout to Melvin D at the pool for incredible service and his friendliness! Brought everything promptly and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were always stocked with food and drinks! Will be coming back and making sure to ask for him!
I have traveled to Casa de Campo for the last 26 years for a Pro Am Golf Tournament. The job they do making all guests feel like VIP is amazing. From the room to the food to the golf everything is 5 star. Three new guests traveled with me this year and to no surprise they were Wowed by the resort. However, during this difficult time we live in what really amazed us all is how well they handled Covid. I honestly can say I felt safer at Casa de Campo than I do in Massachusetts and would recommend to anyone that if they needed a family trip or golf trip away this winter, Casa de Campo is the place to go. My temperature was taken 4-5 times a day at all entry points of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner and the beach.
From the hotel rooms to the pool, everything is super beautiful! The amount of land this resort has is amazing - I felt safe the entire time. Is it worth the money? Absolutely not. For me, it doesn't matter how beautiful the resort is, if the customer service isn't great. I've had better service at a 2 star hotel... The cleaning staff and restaurant staff are super friendly and great - it's just the customer service that's terrible. Anything you ask (no matter how big or small) is a HUGE ask for them and most likely "not do-able". I haven't been to many fancy resorts in may lifetime but the few I have been to bend over backwards to give you the best experience. This resort didn't even give basic services they advertised... And their fitness staff is EVEN WORSE. Super rude. I don't remember their names but it was a bald guy and I think a female that's name started with an M... was super rude on several accounts. Because it was during covid time they made you schedule a gym session before hand (only 15 or 30 people at a time) there was never more than 4 people in there at a time when I checked throughout the day YET THEY SAID THEY WERE BOOKED EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY! They just DON'T WANT TO HELP. They were lazy and just standing around outside. I can't really explain how annoying the customer service is other than anything you do throughout the day they will in some way shape or form stop you or make things complicated. Things you wouldn't even think possible because it's just so basic. It's just not worth it.…
While maintaining some of the most diverse and comprehensive services in the Caribbean, Casa de Campo also offers truly exceptional hospitality at a level equivalent to or above other top properties around the world. With something for everyone, including adults and kids of all ages, this is a must-visit for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting.
I went to Casa de Campo with the desire to disconnect and have a few relaxing days with the family. Nothing further from this was the real outcome. The hotel is old and badly maintained, the service is poor and slow, the cleaning of the rooms apouling. And all what they seem to care about is to charge fr everything as much as possible, from drinks, use of the gym, sunbeds on the beach. Everything is a ripoff with poor quality and service. Surely the worst place we have been for New Year break my family and I have had for a long time.
