Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive generally delights guests with its prime beachfront location and the variety of dining options available. Travelers commend the friendly staff and the hotel's overall cleanliness, with most rooms being described as well-maintained. However, opinions on the rooms diverge; while some find them spacious and clean with excellent views, others label them as outdated and point out issues such as plumbing. While the hotel's atmosphere is considered lively and inviting, there are gripes about noise and ongoing construction. Additionally, the value proposition is questioned by guests who expect more for their money, especially concerning food quality and amenities.

My husband and I have been going to Aruba every year and this was our 19th we have stayed mainly in the low rise area, precisely 12 times at Tamarijn and 5 times at Divi Dutch which is a sister resort that sits right behind Tamarijn it almost feels like one resort. This trip was for little over 2 weeks and we split the time between both properties, we did not know what to expect given that they just reopened after the covid19 shutdown and the Tamarijn underwent major renovations to the rooms, but we were very pleased with our room which was in building 25. The new rooms are little more spacious and there is sofa and 2 very comfortable chairs also, we loved it!
I will back track a bit, we tested for Covid at home but the results did not come back in time for our flight so we had to agree to test at the airport in Aruba, which was very easy and results were back in 6 hours. When we checked at the hotel, we were told to kindly stay in our room until the test results came back and then we can go back to the front desk and obtain our all inclusive bracelets. They gave us a bottle of wine and a box full of snacks and a room service menu to order from, that service is exclusive for people quarantining in their rooms waiting for the results. It was not a hardship at all being in their beautiful rooms because every room is oceanfront with a patio or balcony. We ordered dinner and it was superb, just then our results came in by email so w walked over and got our bracelets. It is worth mentioning that hand sanitizers stations are almost everywhere and always full, even in every room. Obviously because of Covid situation they had to make some changes to their buffet service system which we always loved, now you have to basically order most of the items and you get a pager for when it is ready, there is a nice smoothies and juice station too. We did not mind the changes at all and felt that management and employees are really trying to keep everybody safe. Also all employees were wearing masks and gloves and alert in enforcing the hand sanitizing when you enter the restaurants or even at the main resort entrance.
Tamarijn was giving $100 room credit for each adult staying there as a reopening promotion, we had multiple options for the use of that credit, car rental or an activity with the local tour company or dinner at Fusion restaurant. We picked the dinner and it was awesome. By the way, Thank you Tam for the beautiful gesture. We enjoyed all their restaurants as usual, the quality was still very good and in general we really felt very safe walking around.
I understand that every traveler is different and seeking certain amenities or comfort or luxuries, so please do your research and match it with your needs and expectations. I really recommend this resort If you are seeking relaxation and you are a beach lover. We go almost the same time every year and we always meet with a lot of the same familiar faces that return every year. What a beautiful friendly place!

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Tamarijn. Enjoyed the resort overall. The employees here were very nice and helpful. The layout is spread out but every room is ocean front. We were in building 11 which was near the divi beach which is gorgeous. This end of the resort is fairly peaceful, short walk to the bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable yet could use a few little updates. The grounds were relatively clean, though if you really look closely they could do a better job. This is the first all inclusive resort that I have stayed at were they do not provide beverages in the room refrigerator. You are given a plastic bottle to fill with water upon check in, as well as a beach bag. The food was ok, we enjoyed the Palm grill the most at this resort. You also are able to dine at a couple of restaurants at the divi next door and we enjoyed the Red Parrot restaurant at the Divi. Very short walk or even shorter shuttle ride, which is free. I would definitely return here! I would recommend a first floor room, and getting up early to grab your beach chair and palapa. Definitely need shade when lounging.

This resort exceeded expectations! We were so close to the stunning beach and fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The room was nice and very comfortable. The food was delicious with so many choices. The resort should be commended on helping the environment by not using straws, disposable cups or paper napkins. The local pelicans provide an interesting feature! The access to the Divi resort gave us so many choices

We stayed at the Tamaraijn Aruba All Inclusive for 5 nights – and wish we had booked a longer stay! The hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach and all rooms are oceanfront. This is a sister property to the Divi Aruba Resort and guests have privileges at both. The beach has coral, rocks and shells right at the shoreline where the waves break. They are very sharp and will hurt your feet – be sure to bring water shoes. The meals at the buffet and specialty restaurants were some of the best that we have had compared to many other 5-star resorts. The room was clean and comfortable – we had a problem with a broken drawer in the dresser and the iron did not work – but both problems were corrected quickly. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful – tips were not required but greatly appreciated. The shuttle service on the property runs constantly and was a great help – especially since these properties are spread out. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

We stayed at Tamarijn because the resort rep. told us over the phone that Tamarijn is a family resort and Divi is for the adults. Once we reached Aruba, we came to know that Divi had more things to do for kids then Tamarijn. You can stay at either properties and can go back and forth on a free shuttle. Divi has more king size beds and less rooms 2 double beds vs. Tamarijn. book early. The restaurants are great on both properties. As a vegetarian, I had options. The concierge service at Tamarijn was not very helpful compared to Divi. Divi had lot more staff to guide you. So we went to Divi to get recommendations for excursions. Bathrooms are very small. Housekeeping and bell boy services were great. Take a taxi from he Airport comes out cheaper. Tamarijn overall look was not a "Wow" factor. One thing which was very commendable is that they had no plastic or paper products. The property was very clean. I gave 4 stars because I was disappointed with concierge service at Tamarijn. Whenever my friends or I were in the lobby, there were at least several people waiting in line. They had one or two helping. If you ask a question they would say " I don't know" which made me very upset.

We just returned from the Tamarijn Resort in Aruba and it was wonderful ! The location was close to the airport and town. We chose this resort because all of the rooms are ocean/beachfront. So, if you want to be 10 steps from your own palapa and the beautiful Aruba water and beach, Tamarijn is for you! The resort was clean and well kept. The food was delicious and they offered gluten free options for my food allergy. Entertainment each night was delightful. We also loved the bath products so much that we purchased some to bring home. The spa experience was also enjoyable. All of the staff from arrival to departure were kind and helpful. Finally, for future visitors to the Tamarijn, they are currently renovating the rooms.

On arrival the first impression negative, on putting on our all inclusive wristband we we told that if we lose it we will be charged. Then the next statement was they requested a credit card for any damages we may cause, on arrival at the room it was extremely disappointing. Room required cleaning, bathroom is extremely small, more like a broom cupboard, furniture is dated, was meant to have one king size bed and we have two queen beds. Not required. There is meant to be a sofa and we have a park bench in the corner. Bed linen looks dated. Currently in 1611,

What a great place to stay, we were greeted with a warm and friendly approach where nothing was an issue when asked.
Throughout our stay we had a great experience with all the staff being friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests.
The entire resort is always being cleaned and tidied in some way and presentable for the next visitors into the resort whether that be new or old.
Around the pool side Bernadette was a very welcoming and attentive person that is always willing to help out.
During the earlier part of my stay there was a young man completing an internship for a bartender, he was as good as the rest of the team of bartenders also which commends the team for the training provided.
This is the only resort on the island that will lend e-bikes (and regular bikes) as part of the price of the all inclusive package, this inline with everything else that is included tides the package up lovely.
With the wide variety of restaurants and bar food on offer in the resort you always have options for different cuisine throughout the stay. The food is always quick and tasty.
During the time we spent at the pool relaxing we spent most of our stay in the Tamarijn main pool where there was always good entertainment during the afternoon and in the evening.
If you need a taxi there is always one waiting or nearby the front entrance so the availability to travel to other areas of the island is at your fingertips.

I can not say enough about the amazing staff at the tamarijin all inclusive resort. The moment we checked in we had a bellman grab our luggage and drove us to our rooms. The drinks are phenomenal and so is the food! It was different than usual because of COVID but we felt so safe. They have hand sanitizing stations all around the resort with employees reminding you to sanitize before entering a restaurant or coming back from being off the resort. They checked our temperatures whenever we stepped back onto the resort. No matter what the ask was they staff was always smiling and so helpful. We will be back! thank you!!!

In this resort we had a room starting with 22. which is actually quite a walk from the main part but we soon realised if we flagged down an electric cart mostly we could be dropped off at our door and mostly we enjoyed the walk. We were on upper level. Room is very spacious with two double beds, toilet with Jack and Jill sinks and a shower. Also a substantial balcony. Rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels

Food was excellent, good choice in the buffet with a further 5 speciality dining restaurants shared with Divi all inclusive resort which is reached by walking around 10 minutes or catching the free 17 seater electric carts which appear around every 4 minutes.

Staff are excellent and very attentive. Entertainment every night was first class.

Lots of different swimming pools to choose from some with a huge jacuzzi.

Most annoying was people on the ground floor were out in their PJ’s at 6am reserving their sunbeds and also, although the beaches are beautiful, there are rocks in the shallow part so it is best to wear beach shoes.

E bikes are free to hire and so is most water sports equipment.

The beach is different depending on which building you are in. You can swim in the ocean. In my opinion, Eagle beach water was a bit rougher than Palm beach.
