Kinbasket Lake Resort sits alone on a 240 kilometer long lake in the BC mountains. It consists of 7 self contained cabins, 45 serviced campsites, 8 unserviced campsites, boat launch, docking, and seasonal beach. Hot showers, flush toilets and sinks are available to all guests. It is a semi-rustic location meaning you are not glamping and you are not roughing it, and a great many of our customers refer to it as "paradise". Our clientele is mature adults and families and of the 3,500+ camp nights we host each season a great many are returning customers. A number of those were just bumps in mom's tummy the first year, I've seen them every year since, and now they are teens. And then there are some you will read from that have a different idea of camping than we do or different expectations and will never again be a customer. C'est la vie!

We saw the vacancy sign for the resort and went to Inquire about it. We were unsure of where to inquire about their amenities and drove into the campground. We were approached by an incredibly rude man accusing us of trespassing and refused to help us when we ask about booking a site or recommendation of where we could go to see the lake. I would not recommend to anyone to stay here as we felt incredibly unsafe by the way we were approached and treated by the worker. It was such a horrible experience.

Our family booked the sanctuary cabin but 3 days before arrival we were told they double booked so we ended up with the Roger's Pass Cabin. Pros: -Beautiful scenery and nice lake for kayaking. -Friendly staff. -Cabins have small fridge and bathrooms. Cons: -Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable. Plz replace mattress. -Cabin getting run down. Upgrades needed. -Dock is very old and in need of repair. -Playground (specifically swingset) in need of repair. -Trains all night long. -Staff needs to police parties if they want their website to say quiet time at 10pm. We had a stagette to the right of us and a party to the left of us who played music and hoot and hollered till 2am. (We felt like we were in a nightclub.) -No hot water in cabins or bathrooms. -Staff shouldnt recommend visiting lake across the bridge. We took the kids fishing and a pitbull from a trailer attacked my wife and bit her leg. Not staffs fault at all but just a warning. Overall nice location but needs some money put into it to upgrade almost everything.

Just spent 6 days here with my kids in site 51. Let me say first, yeah there is a train nearby and it runs day and night. After the first night, we didn't care, it's not that big of a deal. Now, this was our first time here, and it was unbelievable. The view is incredible. Our site was amazing, and although you are close to your neighbours, your site is big and roomy and we had our own path to the beach. The staff here were fantastic. I'd like to thank Dimitri, Lauren, and Matteo (I hope I spelled these all right). They were so friendly and welcoming. They gave us great advice on places to visit, things to do, and what to see. This resort has absolutely made a customer for life and I will guarantee that we will be back next year.

Thank you Rick, for a wonderful stay! The weather wasn’t especially kind to us, but we didn’t care. We still managed to get out in our kayaks and explore a bit! Park had everything we needed. When we retire and have more time, we will come back with the grandkids and stay for a week!

Camped for two nights. First night neighbor wanted everyone to listen to his country music and hick laugh all night, luckily heavy rain put the small party to sleep. Second night until 1am.wishing for more train noise to drown out the racket of the one man party. One self centered person can make a bad situation worse. Staff is friendly and washrooms and lots clean. Constant train noise and logging trucks during the week. Will never return to this campground. Wish I would have went a bit further down the road. Assumed a private campground would monitor the noise or party situation. Personally I like to make the most of my day and not party on a Sunday night and sleep in until 9-10 but some glampers do.
