The Farm at San Benito was a refreshing experience! Aside from its relaxing views, they really give you a holistic experience by involving the mental aspect. They also have really good food! If you do go, try their vegan breakfast and pescatarian food!

The Farm is the best place for relaxation that I’ve made it a point to go here for retreat at least 1-2 times a year since 2018. There’s no other resort I’ve been going back to so often because it uniquely and perfectly combines holistic healing with fun and recreation. The staff, facilities, food, customer service, and treatments are all superb. This place is all the more helpful for people who need to keep a healthy lifestyle or are healing themselves because they offer a lot of healthy treatments and organic meals. My trips are also made more special because of Manager Romi Roque, who is by far the best hospitality professional I’ve ever encountered and worked with. His consistency, dedication, and love for his work definitely represents what The Farm gives to its guests. Whether it’s for a retreat or a fun vacation with friends and family, The Farm is definitely a place worth visiting.

This is my second time staying at The Farm. I stayed in Palmera about 5 years ago and got a massage, this time I tried the Sulu Terrace since I'm traveling solo with my dog. I chose this place because it's the most big dog-friendly and safest option near Manila. I loved that there's a goodie bag with treats, a bowl, pee pad, and poop bags for my baby. Staff were also friendly to my dog and I appreciate that. There are certain areas where they're not allowed and that's understandable. But I hope there's more outdoor dining options where pets are allowed, especially for breakfast, so far there's only one table outside for that. The quality of the fruits and vegetables were excellent but the breakfast buffet was extremely average, from what I remember the a la carte menu 5 years ago was so much better. I was hoping to try amazing breakfast dishes but the buffet choices didn't match my expectations for a luxury resort. I understand that COVID safety is a high priority but the mandatory antigen test on-site was a bit much at P2,500. If safety was really the priority it would be nice if there's an option for guests to provide their own test results, whether antigen or PCR 24-48 hours before check-in. Instead of requiring all guests to pay that much for just a rapid test. As for the room, Sulu Terrace was okay when traveling solo with a pet. It meets the bare minimum. I like that the bathroom toiletries were not heavily scented and are coconut-oil based but the soap is too drying and like it's made of pure coconut oil. I make my own soap and pure coconut oil soap is highly cleansing so that's what I use for dishwashing and laundry only. The water in the pitcher had a weird taste and was undrinkable. I felt dehydrated during my stay. I get that The Farm is in a natural setting but I find lizard poop on my bed every once in a while. Also mayflies tend to enter the room even with screens closed and I would find bugs on my bed too. The bedding was so comfortable but I couldn't sleep properly because I was worried lizard poop would fall on my face while sleeping! I woke up in the middle of the night next to lizard poop and mayflies. Sleep quality could've been amazing if it were not for the lizard poop everywhere and crawling bugs. I understand you can't stop lizards from pooping but an additional element to prevent it from falling on the bed would make a world of a difference in the quality of sleep! I just woke up tired and groggy. The bed in the open air area of the terrace was so dirty too. Would've been nice to just chill there but it was so gross like there's a blood stain or something (Sulu 9). Booking a class was so convenient with the app. Did a yoga class and the instructor was okay with my dog joining even after he became too playful for a short bit, so that was nice. Their style of restorative yoga just wasn't for me but my dog loved it. To each their own! It's not the management's fault but I find it so disappointing that some pet owners let their dogs go unleashed. A small dog ran towards my big dog and aggressively barked at him. This triggered my dog's defense mechanism and became aggressive. My dog is 10x the small dog's size and can kill it in an instant. The other pet owner was so lax and carefree that he didn't even act quickly or think there was a problem. Good thing the guards helped deescalate the situation. PLEASE TO PREVENT INJURIES, PLEASE BE MORE STRICT ABOUT THE LEASH RULE IN COMMON AREAS EVEN WITH SMALL "FRIENDLY" DOGS. The driver I hired wanted to use the toilet while waiting for me while I was checking out but she said she wasn't allowed. I don't know if that's true but if it were, that would be very disappointing and inhumane. Unlike other male drivers, my female driver can't just pee in a bush or a corner. Maybe it would be nice to put up a separate restroom for drivers of any gender so they can use the toilet with dignity. Overall I liked the pet-friendliness, the landscapes, calming views and gardens, nice walking trails of the large property, attentive staff, the security, and the relatively quiet location (although karaoke from I don't know where can still be heard). Everything else feels slightly overpriced for the quality. So based on my most recent experience, I'm rating The Farm at San Benito as average.

This is one of the most magical places I have ever stayed in. They're customer service is nothing like I've ever seen in Manila. They are not only nice, but highly engaged in conversation with the guests. They make an effort to go above and beyond what is expected. Truly, a 5 star resort. Not to mention how amazing the scenery is as well. From the domesticated animals that you see free-roming the area, to the hidden water falls area that they have---truly this is a place where I can be proud to call a Filipino 5-star resort. "Nasa Pilipinas ang San Benito, it makes me proud to be a Filipino." I would like to commend Mr. Graceson Canda, their senior guest ambassador for being the very best host. He is an asset to the Farm. I'm looking forward to spending more time there again with my family.

The Farm, without a doubt is a great escape from the city into a greener surrounding. We found it relaxing however the rooms, food( especially indian) and service at the restaurants needs improvement on a lot of fronts. When you pay a bomb for your trip you expect higher standards. The rooms can be more spacious, the food can be served quicker and meals on the menu that clearly state " available throughout the day" must actually be exactly that . For a wellness resort the food was quite OK with less choices for non philippinos. The menu does boast of quite a few Indian food dishes but the portions are ridiculously tiny compared to both the bowls they are served in and the price at which they come . Regardless of how many stars a resort is the meal portions must match the price list , food at both Alive and Prana didnt live up to that hype . The activites are a bare minimum and adding a few more would be a great idea. The weekend ended on a good note and so must this review. The staff , each one of them deserves a pat on the back for being such kind , friendly souls . Not one person passes by without wishing you . The massage at the Farm needs a mention too. An experience of a lifetime it was , all credit to the therapists . The Farm has clearly found a way of maximizing and imparting the benefits of coconut oil to its guests . The body polish , oils and soaps are fabulous and buying them is value for money. A good refreshing stay at a resort that clearly comes with a price , slightly over priced at that !!

The Farm is beautiful and serene. Staff wad very friendly and accommodating especially Ms. Irene, she was the one who coordinated my Husbands surprise dinner at the Big Lagoon. She even gave us her personal number if we needed anything. 100% for customer service. I was just a little upset with my booking name. (They used my maiden name). Which offended my husband a little (yes it does matter) they should be careful on what to write in the booking details. Also the covid testing form. They asked us to submit it 7 days prior and when we arrived at the Farm the nurses asked us to FILL UP THE FORM AGAIN. Which is quiet annoying especially for those who read and followed the Farms rules. Then again it was an unforgetabble experience for us and our 2 year old daughter. We will definitely go back soon.

It's our first time being here at "The FARM". My children had shifted from the amusement trips / Disneyland and Shopping spree vacations to resting and breaking from the city traffic and chaos. Everyon in "The Farm" were so amiable and pleasant. Their friendliness and very welcoming made our short stay truly very wonderful and great. Special mention to Dra. Franco. Big Thanks to Ms. Dhally and Darlene. Thanks also to Giselle, Aila and Ms. Jennere; and of course thank you Jether (from Alive Restaurant for serving our request even if food is from the other restaurant Pesce). It was a worthwhile vacation for me and my children for the great relaxing experience. To "The Farm", management team and staff, thank you very muvh from the bottom of our hearts. To the guests, don't forget to try their Tiramisu and Koibito's Gelato from Pesce restaurant!

Very nice place to eat and hangout. Very welcoming, warm and nice staff. Thanks Chef Marie for the good food. A place where you want to relax and have a healthy but sumptuous meal. There are also other restaurants such as Pesce (seafood) and Prana (indian food), which are also good.
