Hotel Cara is easy to find and located on the main road in Lipa. From there, you can go anywhere from downtown to the STAR expressway. Was just staying for the night in Lipa and we just got their 12 hour rate. It was reasonable eventhough there was no breakfast. Again, we just needed a place to sleep and this one gave us a comfortable one.

Downside would be that there is no elevator so it could be challenging for those in need of one. Then again, the hotel is just 3 floors where the ground floor is reserved for the lobby and the rooms are located in the second and third floor.

The room was spacious and just right. There are basic toiletries which is just average in quality. The service was superb and they go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant.
There's also free wifi.

Would stay here again in case I'm in Lipa.

Sleep is okay, clean room, good aircon and strong water, with heated shower. And Strong WIFI plus parking security guard.
However, breakfast was not appropriate for a Hotel (cup of rice+spam+egg+coffee or corned beef or hotdog) Not even a Tomato on the side. Leaking Bidet, that McGiver needs to improvise to avoid slipping on the Toilet. No complimentary Water, No ref. Just a place to sleep and bath. And parking may be a hassle, which would be a tight fit for a Pick Up Truck.

This hotel is better than the other one.
It was clean and decent.
Fee is not as expensive as that of la corona.
Room is bigger. Cr/bath is also bigger.
Water is sufficient. Drainage was not clogged.
Room smells clean.
Staffs are friendly.
Wifi ready as well.
Although in the morning, you will also hear construction noise.
Over all stay is better.

Rooms are clean and cozy. Bathroom is also clean and there's a spray bidet (a convenience that is frequently ignored even by 5-star hotels) and hot shower. Indoor slippers are also available. The bed is big enough and is really comfy and the room smells clean, more of fabric conditioner, actually. There's TV, wifi and complimentary water. The size of the standard room is also surprisingly big! There's even a round table and chairs that can fit four people. There's also parking space and a Figaro coffee shop.

The rates are so affordable, really good value for your money. They also have 12-hour rates, which is great since we were only looking for a place to sleep since we have a very early seminar the next day. Can't comment on the breakfast because short stays are not inclusive of bfast, but it's ok since there's nearby restaurants and fast food chains. Reception staff is friendly and polite.

The location is great as well, a few minutes from Robinson's and SM Lipa.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a no-frills budget hotel that's inexpensive but gives you a comfortable stay in Lipa. We have actually looked around the other budget hotels in the area and Hotel Cara tops our list.

They reuse the comforters and beddings. When we requested for replacement, the housekeeping staff gave us another used comforter and sheets..Gross!!! Very unhygienic and POOR SERVICE! This hotel is beside the highway, expect loud noise outside. No elevator. No vault and electronic door lock, not safe to stay. This hotel needs upgrade and improvement. We are very unsatisfied!

So clean, and neat.
Wifi (fast) and Cable TV is available.
Aircon is OK.
Just choose the room farther from the streets.
Good choice for travelers, overnight stay.
Just get something to munch and drink in stores nearby (Big Ben area)

Stayed for 2 weeks. You might get lower price by contacting the hotel rather than using agencies. 3 min walk to Robinson mall and less than 5 min drive to SM mall. Very good bed, clean and good aircon. Hotwater, free bottle water, fridge, big rooms and very friendly staff. Seems to me like the best hotel in Lipa city.Regards from Norway.

I love the place. It is so cozy and comfy. Relaxing ambience. And the most warm and accommodating staff.
Well compensated budget. Modern styled rooms. Air-conditioned, flat screene televisions, snug sofa-bed, hot and cold shower and wifi access area.
A place to chill out.

My boyfriend stays here whenever he visits. The rooms are decently sized and clean. The beds, tv and furniture are new. Breakfast is ok. Security is good and privacy is all right. Many fastfood chains will deliver. Btw good value for money!

I was originally booked in one of the famous hotel here in Lipa but needs to transfer to Cara for three nights, did not expect anything good, but the experienced was wonderful.

The hotel has a very spacious room for a Standard type (a family of 4-6 can fit in!). The comfy and soft bed was a pleasure, too bad I stayed in a room which is a room or two closer to the street (the traffic noise is annoying). Everything is great really, but during my stay, the internet connection was terrible (I hope it's just the weather)

The front desk and all their service staff are friendly and very accommodating.
