The place is newly built or renovated. The staff are not as hospitable as I expected. Probably because its just a regular lodge (apart from being newly built/renovated) so somehow management doesnt care about quality service. Anyway, it serves it purpose as a place to stay near the pier. There is a guard ensuring the safety and security of the guests. As to the room, the size is more than i expected. They provided the basic amenities. What i just find it bad is their air conditioning. It took hours before the room temperature come down to the coolness i want. I think its because the unit is not suited to the size of the room or its just old. I like that the room has a good size bed - queen size i guess. It also provides a cabinet and a table as well as large mirror. The towel is only medium size and not as soft and thick. I will consider staying here again. …
Was in Bislig City and scouting for a decent place to stay in Surigao City near the port at the last minute. Staff was accommodating and assisted me with my booking. Got two rooms (each with two beds) for me and my friends. They’ve got clean room and bathroom, with TV and telephone. The cafeteria at the ground floor has hot and cold water that’s available for those leaving on an early morning trip to Siargao. It’s very accessible as it’s by the road, yet safe coz it has a security guard.
Airconditioning noisy. TV only had two channels. The inside of the cabinet seem dirty. We were carrying visibly heavy bags, we were on the 3rd floor and nobody helped. One one towel and soap when there was obviously two of us.
Stayed for a night to take the ferry to siargao the next morning. It was clean and everything worked fine. Very good price for the service. I can recommend to stay there, especially when you want to take the ferry, since it's near the port.
Stayed overnight in their standard room for two. Php 950 for air-conditioned room, queen-size bed, hot/cold shower, 32" flat screen tv with cable channel, and cabinet. The price is okay. Especially when you need a comfortable place to sleep after an exhausting travel from Manila to Butuan then Butuan to Surigao. Location wise, good. 3-5 minutes going to the port. The place is close to the main town, market and eateries. It's also safe, they have a guard on duty 24/7. Cons? We're already up at 3am since we plan to leave early. So disappointed to know that there's no water pressure in the shower and even in faucet. I don't know if its just because they had to close the water valve in the morning, or what. But still, it shouldn't be that way. Not to mention that the air-conditioned unit is dripping with water. Overall, this is an average budget hotel. …
