If you are going to Door County, treat yourself to the quiet side and a stay at the Innlet Motel. Located directly across the street from Jacksonport Park means a sandy beach is at your toes. The food next door is excellent as well as other restaurants within 2-5 miles. If you need anything Mike will make sure you are taken care of as well as everyone else who works here. Honestly, you have earned it, stay at the Innlet!

The photos here make it look so simple. It is truly far more beautiful in person.

We found the Innlet motel to be a perfect fit for our holiday get away from Chicago. The room was very clean and spacious. The location across the street from a park that is on the Lake Michigan shore was fantastic. We took early morning walks with our big dog and could grab a coffee or drop into the little market for whatever we needed. Everyone on site at the property and adjoining pub were very friendly and helpful. Great convenience to have the pub/restaurant next door. The location lent itself to easy, pretty drives around Door county. This is a great, very reasonably priced location for families and those traveling with pets.

A sparkling clean gem located across the street from Lake Michigan. Motel room was quiet and clean. Next door is Mike's Port Pub and Grill, with excellent food and great service. Both the inn and the pub are owned by the same friendly hardworking people. Excellent value for the price point on the "quiet side of the Door". We will be back!

Rooms are very overpriced for what you get. A basic no frills “Motel 6” room. Ours did have a large whirlpool bathtub, but when we filled it the water was yellow and smelled bad. The worst part was the obnoxious drinking party in the next room playing loud music. We tried to find someone at the office to address the issue without luck. Pressed the button, nobody came. Sent a text message to the posted phone number, no response. Big pile of beer cans outside our room in the morning. We made the mistake of trying to reserve a room in Door County on a Friday during peak fall colors. Should have been a clue when this place was about the only one with rooms available. Plan ahead so you don’t have to stay here.

The motel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Close to Jacksonport’s park for kids playground and beach. Just wished Mike’s pub was open. It was under construction when we were there.
Overall a nice motel for the money.

The rooms are great size, we had the two queens and you could not believe the excess room we had. This is probably one of the cleanest motels i have ever been in. This isn't your large chain of motels, it is family run, and they treat you just like family. Mike's Port Pub has excellent food and also so friendly; "Joy is a hoot", what a nice person. it's as if we have always been coming here. It isn't on the beach but right across the street is a public park which is on the beach. The traffic in Jacksonport after 8pm is practically non existant.

We had limited options for a wedding in Jacksonport. We will never be back. The beds hurt. You can't move them. The owners are no where to be found. The place makes you feel unwelcome. We later found an ad or letter to the editor they wrote about gay people saying they never wanted any to come to Door County. Sorry us and many of our friends wandered around feeling unwelcome.

So, let me just say, for the PRICE, this motel gets 5 STARS. However...it's NOT a 5 star motel.

Let me explain...

The Innlet Motel is a very very clean, very quiet hotel snuggled in the middle of Jacksonport. It's walking distance from the store, the Pub/Restaurant, and a really nice park with playground. Like I said...FOR THE PRICE, IT'S 5 STARS.

The only reason the Innlet is not 5 stars is because it's a budget motel. The amenities are nice, clean, and functional, but they are plain as can be. There's no pool and NO FRILLS. BUT...the staff is really nice (mostly...there's one crab apple)...the place is clean...and the location is quite good.

For the money it's a quality place to stay. I plan on going back in October.

This is a perfect place to stay because there is a restaurant and bar right snack dab next door. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is across the road from Lake Michigan and I could hear the waves crashing throughout the windy night.

Room Tip: Motel has two stories so room choice depends upon whether you care to climb stairs.

I decided at the last minute to drive North for an overnight getaway. My criteria was a super-clean motel at a reasonable price compared to the rest of the market. I have stayed here previously, several years ago, and I was pleasantly surprised that their standards for cleanliness are still high. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they have reduced rates Sunday nights thru Thursday nights. This is a 'no-frills' 1960's motel (no pool, no exercise room and no free breakfast). You can go swimming in Lake Michigan which is across the street, or go jogging for exercise, or go next door to Mike's Port Pub for breakfast. I would highly recommend this motel.

"I don't believe there was a fitness center. This is a locally owned Inn. I didn't see a swimming pool either. What was unusual about this place is that you never heard outside noise nor did you hear noise coming through the walls from other residents."
