Went here on a Thursday and it was perfect - there was very few people when we arrived and we were able to fully utilise our time! A must visit when in Naga.

CWC is an open area, you can just come in, chill and watch the pro wakeboarders, you only pay when you use the amenities. I think the wakeboarding activities were reasonably priced but what i find interesting is that even if you stay in one of their accommodation, you still have to pay for using the pool. Would be great to include that + wakeboarding usage when you book accommodation with them as it would make more sense.

There has been an improvement on the wood cabins area, which was destroyed by the typhoon a few months ago. Staff were also very helpful generally.

They have a free shuttle going to the city and back but from my experience when i tried to call them to confirm and then i asked personally at the reception desk, the time slots were not consistent and in the end we werent able to use the free shuttle.
Another option to go back to the main road from CWC is ride a tricycle which costs 10php. (and from there take a bus/jeep to go back to Naga city proper)
It would help if there is a signage inside CWC of the free shuttle service and a signage outside CWC where we can ride the tryc.

Aside from that, would like to go back again to CWC!

Me and my husband stayed at small wood cabin of villa rey while our kids stayed at the mansion where the room is bigger it can accommodate all our 6 kids plus yaya, yes the room at villa rey is small, the bathroom is small too and a bit uncomfortable, but that's what we booked and its cute, its like a play house, and its within the vicinity of CWC.

My family spent 3 days and 2 nights in Caramoan and on our last night in Bicol, we stayed in CWC. We booked for 2 green containers while in CWC. The good thing about this complex is its proximity to Naga airport. They also provide free shuttle which can transport you to the airport in 8-10 minutes. The room rate is affordable and reasonable. But management should put a little more effort in cleaning and maintaining the container vans. The containers where we stayed at had some ants on the door area and in bed linens. The roman blinds on the windows as well as the fabric on the glass door had some dirt. There is hot/cold shower which is working fine. The CR is clean. The cable tv is ok. There’s no telephone inside the container so it’s kinda hard to make a request from housekeeping. Certain local dishes such as “laing” and “sinanglay na tilapia” are delicious and reasonably priced.

A really good day out whether you participate in water sports, or just go to watch. Well laid out, plenty of seats/tables and on site hotel. The bar/food area is well stocked and reasonably priced, plenty of “servers” so no need to queue.
Charges for use of swimming pool, and wake boarding etc but these can be incorporated in to the room rate if you are staying. Around six “Pagoda” type structures along the water front, with table, benches and electric, these are 1500 pesos but fully refundable against the menu except alcoholic drinks for some strange reason?
Have been several times including one overnight stay and will undoubtably go again!

If you want a relaxed fun weekend DON’T GO to CWC. We went there with some friends after reading in the Lonely Planet that this was supposed to be the best Wakepark in the World. Usually I can rely on Lonely Planet suggestions but in this case I have to contradict by 100%. Camsur Watersports Complex is not the best but the WORST Wakepark I have ever seen. The whole place has some potential with 3 volcanoes around, one of them a direct backdrop for the Wakepark, but that’s about all positive I can say about this mess. I reserved 2 double rooms on the Triple Treat Promo with the Villa de Reyes, however Emails and calls have never been answered. Upon arrival we had to wait 1 hour until we finally got our Wakepark Ticket. The rooms would require to wait 2 hrs more so we decided to go Wakeboarding already and check in later. Upon arrival at CWC (in fact one more and I assume the last not negative impression of this whole project is that the houses were just besides the Wakepark) we were told that no Wakeboards were available and they would put us on the waiting list at Number 23 (!!!). This was very surprising since only 4-6 People were wakeboarding and lots of rental wakeboards lying around. We discussed with the total incompetent and ignorant staff and got waiting times which ranged from 1 hour to 4 hours. Noone was able to explain us why so few people were riding, so many boards around and still we are Number 23 on an imaginary waiting list, so we ask for the Manager. After making a big fuss we finally were allowed an audience with the Manager just to learn that the Wakeboards were free to use, just go there pick one and go riding and when they talk about equipment they mean the impact vests and helmets. What a joke, and even here the waiting list did not make sense since lots of vests and helmets were around as well. On top of that we would only need one set since 3 of us brought our own “equipment” and due to the wonderful organisation of the Villa de Reyes one had to stay at the luggage anyway, so with one simple competent sentence 1 hour of frustrations, discussions, messes and anger could have been avoided. After finally settling these issues we started boarding and considering the park is only 3 years old it was a surprise that in the first round I was afraid to hit the obstacles - not coz they look so scary => Coz they look so damn rotten and torn down that I was afraid some nails still look out.
The average food as well inattentive stuff and construction noise all around just added to this all worse experience at the self acclaimed Best Wakepark in the World. Minor things like giving us an arm paper tag for 3 days boarding which was not allowed to be removed did only complete our image of total incompetence and just created a smile of pity for the Management.
Considering that it is not easy to reach this lousy place in the middle of nowhere, safe your efforts and better go to other parks for a fun weekend

We went with a group of 4 and booked a triple 3 package for 1,500 peso each pax for a 3D 2N stay + free use of wake park facilities. The saying "you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!" is exactly right in this case!

From 1st day of arrival, everything is an experience of a lifetime. We arrived at the reception with no more than 15 pax. It took us an hour to register and check in, and was told that the room is still unavailable.

It was almost noon, we took our stuffs + gears to the wake park, and 2 of us did not bring any gear / equipment. The staff at the reception said that the equipment was unavailable, and we have to be on the waitlist with 20 pax already in the queue! There is no guarantee when the equipment will be available. Of cos we created a big fuss, and the only response from the receptionist was, "why don't you go for kayaking or swim in the pool". It took us more than 10 hours from Singapore to NAGA for some wakeboarding actions, not paddling on the water!

After wasting almost an hour of argument and waiting, a managerial looking guy came and said that the wakeboards are available. Equipment (in their definition) means the life vest and helmet. What puzzle us was we were talking about wakeboard rental all the time, but apparently, the people there do not understand and does not listen.

The restaurant was crappy with more flies than humans feasting on the table. There are at least 8 to 10 service crew, but no one bothers about you. The moment they had eye contact with you, they will either look away or walk to a different direction. It took us on average 10 mins to get a menu, 20 mins to get the order, and 15 to 30 mins to get your food. The food is either cold or delivered wrongly. Quality wise i will give a rating of 5/10 for Philippines standard.

I have to say the wake park is quite nice though, but the whole experience is a turn off! There is no process, no system, poor service at this place. Even if the wake park is fill with spring water, i will never go back again.

Disclaimer : Above rating is based on comparing with international standards, not Philippines standards as i do see that there are a lot of reviews raving about this place.

This was my 2nd and worst experience in Philippines, I rented a Single Bungalow, The charge for 2 nights cost about 100 dollars, I was surprised at the rooms condition, Black mold on the ceiling, I would wake every night to mass amounts of Termite Dust falling on me in my sleep the cost for the room was not worth it. I would call reception on the phone over the 3 days I stayed and not once did I get them off the phone ... but they were quick to call me to let me know it was time to check out.

Customer service was sick, I have never had worse customer service - The Front Desk was nice all the way up to the point where they charged my card ... after they were useless, I would ask a question like where is the nearest ATM or simple questions a front desk should know and the responded to me as if they did not even know how to speak English. When renewing my room I was not quick enough and the lady acted like she was upset it took me so long to get my card out ... By telling me to come back later... She was rude and had a sour face it was unpleasant.

The bad service did not end at reception at the Restaurant, the food was expensive and the servers were more interested in socializing and texting on there phones when you called them over ... they would just not even look at you or just tell you to wait.... The food prices were set at I would say american prices and had small portions over all the food was good but the service lacked. Sadly they are seriously not accommodating at all either ... Example - I ordered Fries and I asked for a side of gravy ... she brought the fries to me and by the time I got her attention to bring the side of gravy the fries were cold ... I still asked for the gravy and she looked all sorts of Pissed off left and some time later came back .... and Mad Like SLAMMED down a bottle of ketchup on the table ... I said I wanted gravy ... she picked the bottle up slammed it back on the table and said GRAVY!!! I was appalled. you could tell these guys were getting paid regardless of service and then wanting to be tipped on top of the bad service was insult to injury ...

Next the pool ... as much as it cost to stay there the pool was not free and they were not nice about it ... they came up and yelled at me I must pay when I was wondering around the pool ... not even ready to jump in ... MONEY MONEY MONEY ...

The park its self was nice the nicest person I encountered was the guy who was teaching people to Wake Board in the beginner pool, were I spent some time learning ... I did it ... I wake boarded but I quickly learned that it was not for me because it was far to much.

The resort itself is nice but it is all about the wake boarding ... if you can not do it then there is not much reason to stay ... it cost so much and has ZERO Customer Service. The Staff is not friendly and mostly looks pissed off to be there ... I really hate to write bad reviews and I really like to at least start with what is nice and work my way to what is bad.... Sadly this place NOT WORTH THE STAY the cost is crazy and I was upset most of my stay.

so if you want to wake board get to it but stay in a place close by or even in NAGA but sadly their cost of anything close by is just as expensive because they know and it is about the only reason one would stay in this town. This is about the only time I have ever in the Philippines felt as if I was being taken advantage of.

My general experience in the Philippines is that Filipinos are extremely Hospitality Orientated and have a Excellent work Ethic but this place ditched both ethics and I just felt Ripped off... and I felt like once they had my money and I was trapped there all they wanted was more money ... that is my general impression of the place.

Beware ... and Have fun but do not even bother if you do not think you can wake board ... if you can not ... then SKIP NAGA all together because that is all there is to do there.

We stayed over night at this place. Then learned that out room is an old container van. It has 3 beds, a bathroom, a/c, ref, and microwave. For the price we paid its not worth it. Guest have to pay extra just to use the swimming pool. It should be free for their hotel guests as part of amenities, right? I suggest to look for a different hotel instead.

We are staying in the Eco village near the wakeboarding centre. On arrival the place seemed to be unkept and generally very ran down. The receptionist seemed surprised to see anyone but was ok. I appreciate we stayed in a budget room but it was a tin shed with a double bed, shelf and nothing else, still this was not too horrendous for a back packer. Then the problems started. In the camp area there was 2 pools both empty. They advertise that there is a coffee bar and restaurant, neither we open nor looked like they ever had been. Then we went straight to the centre and I met the most unhelpful, rude receptionists I have ever seen. They didn't careless about serving you, when you finally got there attention they did everything they could to not answer your questions or assist in anyway. I finally managed to book an afternoon boarding. Then I went to get my board etc. The equipment is very old and worn, barely useable. the only option is rent "pro" kit which is p1250 a day. Considering that a days riding tickets p750 this is ridiculous. The riding area itself is ok and the guys controlling it are very friendly compared to everyone else. The food and drinks in the centre are very overpriced for the philipines. So we walked out of the centre and found a tasty local restaurant about 20min walk away. After this we went back to our room. There are communal showers and toilets which is not a problem if any of them worked! Not one out of 10showers and 8 toilets flushed or produced water of any kind, not what you need after a days riding. also the state of them was horrendous. Dried out toilet basins, sinks with no taps, showers with noheads and long time dead cockroaches and others bugs. We decided to wait until the morning as it was getting late. In the morning I contact reception who looked at me funny and said they would send maintenance. An hour later still nothing was working. I returned to reception who said it was working and didn't understand why I was complaining. After leaving it for another hour I went back to the shower area. One toilet, in the women's flushed and nothing in the men's worked at all. Saying that there was a hole where a shower head should have been which produced a dribble water. All the hot water units didn't even turn on. After third trip to reception I was told that everything was working but this clearly was not the case. As a result we had go to the centre a short ride away in shuttle to use a toilet and get a shower. This was totally unacceptable. I feel it's a real shame, I'm sure when the place first opened it was nice but now it is a total dump staffed by the most unhelpful staff I've ever met (except the cable guys). I seriously could carry on for longer but I think I've painted a fairly accurate picture of the cwc and especially the eco village. Please also bare in mind im a very seasoned backpacker who has never seen anything like this anywhere in the world.

Watersports on the perfect view of Mt. Isarog, rubbing elbows with foreigners left and right, you surely should have enough slash when you come to this place since they make you pay for every move. I am so glad wakeboarding isn't my sport! LOL

Accommodations were very nice, we stayed at one of the family trailers which has the setting of a hotel on the inside. We were lucky we were there in time for the town's festival so there were food stalls all over the place and we didn't have to pay a fortune for a meal at the site's restaurant, except for breakfast since we didn't have a choice. We did lots of swimming, the girls got the hour package to try the well talked about wakeboarding, while the boys got the half day one. I tried a couple of rounds but since they were both unsuccessful, decided to stop. ;-P We also weren't able to try Lago del Rey, now we have a reason to come back.

The place was really cool, we have to give credits to the government of Camrines Sur and the whole region 5. I've researched the place for many months in preparation for this trip and I have to say, I've researched enough to know that Caramoan and CWC are just a couple of the great things you can experience in Bicol. People from this beautiful land must be really proud!

June, July is start of rainy season and can be lasted till October but august can be lucky month, sometimes don't even rain. And if that happen then you win lottery because you definitely will enjoy it because it's not too hot which is now the weather in the Philippines is goes to 48 till 54 Celsius. So Goodluck.
