It was love at first sight. I loved our log cabin. It overlooked signal lake. So beautiful! When we entered our cabin, it was so cozy. I loved the comforters, the beds, and especially the pillows. The bath was like a modern hotel. It had a nice lobby and very nice full restaurant. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay a whole week.

We have stayed at Signal Mountain several times, but this time (during Covid) was really nice. We stayed in a lake view room and since the last time we stayed there, they have added tiny dishwashers to sanitize all utensils/plates/glasses. The view is always spectacular, and we always enjoy the fact that there is a living room/kitchenette as well as bathroom and large bedroom. This time what stood out was how they were able to provide quality dining in a socially distanced way, but still providing a full menu of excellent food. We enjoyed this several times while in the park. Signal Mountain is one of our favorite places since you never feel crowded.

The lodge is located just off the Grand Teton loop. After the turn in, take the first right and go past the general store and restaurant to get to the registration office. The restaurant had a long wait for seated dining, so we ordered boxed meals for take out (short wait). In the morning they offer grab-and-go pre-made breakfast offerings. These meals were adequate for us and we appreciated the convenience after driving and walking all day. Some cabins have a view of Jackson Lake and it is just a few steps from any cabin to walk along the shore. Parking spots are not assigned, so arrive early if you need to get the spot closest to your cabin. (But the place is not big, so any spot will be fine for most people.)

Room Tip: If your cabin comes with 2 beds in the room, they likely will be pushed up against the wall.

The room was very nice and the location can't be beat. It's in the park so no need to drive far to the sights and trails. For just a place to sleep it's a little pricey but you are at one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Our only complaint is the shower curtain smelled like mildew.

We splurged for our 35th anniversary and got an upper lake retreat with gorgeous views. Not cheap, but well worth it. Food at Trapper grill was pretty good. The float trip with our guide Mark was fabulous.
