It was my second time checking in here, with my two teams from two different companies. I really love their Beach House in terms of capacity, amenities, and a homey ambiance. Sure, it may not be as new and prestigious as many millennials may prefer, but hey, what's important is that the group can cook/play/have drinks together! The resort also offers a common swimming pool and videoke, plus boat ride assistance whenever anyone wants to go to the Island (it is the closest resort). I'd definitely still consider going back here should there be another chance in the future.
Place is dirty and run down and does not look like the pictures and videos on their website and Facebook page. The one star is for the respectful and polite front desk lady who we had to wake up multiple times to find a clean room we could stay in. We booked the Beach House with 5 rooms for 9 people for 2 nights and ended up in a dormitory type room for a few hours before checking out early in the morning.
We are truly excited to see Isla Vista Resort since their website photos looks amazing. Unfortunately upon arrival the place is not maintained properly that seems closed for many months and reopened. The room, toilets are extremely dirty. The pool water is seems never cleaned and green color. The food is not good as well. I’m sharing this to help other travellers not to expect what’s there in their website. Waste of money.
Decided to spend my nephew's birthday here as suggested by his mother. Nearest boat transfer to Potipot Island. I just love the beach, very clear water with fine sand. My kids enjoyed playing at the seashore while watching sunset and sunrise. Isla Vista offers boat transfer to Potipot for Php400, good for upto 6pax. Foodies in their restaurant are good with affordable price. Their rooms need improvement. There's only one small trash bin with no cover in the cr (suggestion, place another one under the tv rack, with cover). Our room(1bed) is good for two yet there's only one blanket. My sister's room(2 beds) is good for four yet there's only two blankets. Towels are provided. There's corkage fee when bringing in food, drinks. If you want to have their breakfast, you have to made arrangements, unlike in other resorts, room automatically comes with breakfast. Their staff are very polite and accommodating. …
This is our 2nd Beach Bum Getaway for this summer 2016 and we had a great fun and awesome experience again because of their friendly and accommodating staff, warm swimming pool which is good and relaxing, clean accommodation and the amazing view of sunset , don't mind the huge count of mosquito's maybe because of the weather ,The best part of all is the travel to Potipot Island the fine white sand and the clear blue waters . i will definitely recommend this resort to my friends. Thanks again Isla Vista Resort! Keep it up!
