The view grants the enjoyment. Typical food on a beach setting, awesome fresh air and ocean water presence that concludes the experience. Comfortable stay, average amenities, fulfilling the aspect of being in a natural environment and hold your hand in a simple and managed tap.
The hotel is very typical. More so like a BnB. We arrived around past 11am and the hotel did not even give consideration by allowing us for early check in. Funny because we found out that there were no much guests during that day. The room is not that fully equipped. We have to ask for additional hangers, toiletries, towels and bedding. We rented the family suite (6pax) at 8000 per night. Not much breakfast choices. They only have the typical meat sinangag options.
Awesome Beach, the picture doesnt justified the view. Tip always go on weekdays if possible; it could be crowded on weekends Average Room, Bad restaurant. (long waiting time and not much food options; They serve only Filipino Foods ) other items listed on the menu are NOT available. We stayed March 1 on the Main Hotel and not the island rooms (Family travel; 1 night)
The resort itself looked in need of some work, the outdoor showers didn’t work and the restaurant lacked a lot of stuff on the menu. However, the Island is ideal if all you want to do is laze the day away on a sandy beach and swim in warm tropical waters. Views from the shore are amazing, and the journey over to the island is only a few minutes. The staff on the island are very friendly and there is an array of activities for the more energetic visitor. The entrance fee of 300 pesos entitles you to a free 10 minute canoe/raft session. You can rent a tent, for 300 pesos and ‘zip’ your belongings away. Or lay inside when the sun gets too much. If you are going to visit I would suggest you pack a picnic, as there isn’t much available on the island - and who doesn’t love a beach picnic! …
We’ve been here twice already. We had an amazing experience the first time we stayed in Isla de Potipot. The kitchen staff (Manang) was very kind and friendly. She even gave a free breakfast for our kid. However, during our second visit, the front desk staff (in charge of entrance fee and boat) was very rude and unprofessional. I was just inquiring about the rates and fees and she answered with sarcasm and irritation. When I turned my back, she said she needs more PATIENCE! I totally agree with her, she needs more patience and TRAINING!
