Stayed for 5 night at ANA Crowne Plaza. Location is perfect. Near the train and subway station. From the airport, you can just take the fee shuttle bus to the domestic terminal station and from there, take the subway train to Hakata station. The hotel is a good 5 minutes away. Take exit 17 and once you’re on the road level, use the right side and just go straight. You’ll see an intersection with foot bridge and 7-11 under. To your right, you’ll see the hotel.
Check in was a breeze and I got a room with Club Lounge access. Food and drink selection is a bit limited and the food was practically the same during my stay. Room were big and immaculately clean. Amenities are replenished every day. Breakfast selection is wide and breakfast time is up to 10am. Staff are very professional yet they offer you their sweetest smile also.
Heartfelt thanks to Miki Ryu and the staff of the club lounge as well as the staff in the breakfast area

Fukuoka is the only one Japanese city that its airport is close to the city, only 10-15 mins.
Great location, a short walk from the train station.
Breatfast and happy hour were excellent, serving one of the best Egg Benedict I have had, very crunchy outside but juicy inside 👍👍
This ANA Crowne Club Lounge serves excellent breakfast and afternoon tea, great variety food, freshly made & very well-presented little cutie pieces of art!
The only drawback about the hotel is the room is quite small, smaller than normal Japanese standard, even though we booked an executive room.

This was my first trip to Fukuoka and I was amazed by the centrality of the hotel to the railway station, merely minutes away across the street into an adjacent street. The location made my 3 days stay well served and accessible.
Check-in was breeze, having prepared for my arrival they upgraded my room based on my IHG status, were courteous and prompt. The only thing that could have been better would have been if I had been greeted as a Platinum member (something I thought IHG had an edge compared to others). The courteous staff nevertheless left me less bothered. Club access was clearly explained.
The room was of great size, spacious and inviting. Travelling as a family of 3, I could see they were prepared for us as all amenities were in threes. The room was clean and comfortable which made for restful sleep.
We went to the Club lounge and was warmly greeted by the lounge staff. The lounge was compact but served its purpose for the size of the hotel. We spend many enjoyable moments at the lounge and was impressed by the eagerness of the staff to assist. Some spoke in limited English but that did not stop their willingness to shower us as guest with hospitable service. I am touched by their seriousness to service. Even upon check-out they invited us to spend time at the lounge if we were not rushing. Alas we were, so we left for the train station having said our goodbyes.
The staff at the lobby were equally warm. Every morning and evening I was greeted with bows and helped with calling the elevator whenever they were sure I was headed that way. Likewise when we were departing , we were told we could wait at the lounge for comfort. This level of warmth on a cold winter's morning makes me want to come back.
One of the most defining acts in luxury is the sincerity and care for details by staff members (soft issues) besides the luxury seen by infrastructure grandeur. In this sense ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel stands out. Well done Sir/Madam.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to Hakata station with its Shinkansen link. It's two stops from the airport on the subway. The hotel is in an older style building, but it's well maintained and my room was cleaned to a high standard each day. Hygiene was maintained at breakfast by requiring guests to wear plastic gloves and wear a face mask at the buffet. Although English is not spoken widely in Fukuoka, the staff were very obliging and tried hard to meet my requests.

While I am traveling, location is always my top priority, comfort room the second and service after. ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka has all 3 covered at same time. Comparing the upscale theme lobby, guest rooms are aged and simple but clean and spacy.
We found our non-smoking room has smoking smell right after stepped in. Although It is not unusual that guests smoked at non-smoking room in Japan, we called guest service to change the room. They assigned customer service staff to assist us immediately. Even though all hotel sold out that night and we checked in after 7pm, they worked hard to find us 2 room closer to each other (there is one room between us) one floor down. They also offered us breakfast to compensate for our inconvenience. In additional to it, we got access to mini bar for our Elite Status.
The rich breakfast offers both Western and Eastern options. They replace few main dishes daily so you won’t get bored in consecutive days. Elite Members were seated at reserved sitting and offered optional coffee/tea. Once we finish our meal, the elevator door is open and waiting for us. When we have a question, they response promptly. ANA CP is not new building, but they keep every where clean and flawless.
As of location, 5 minutes walk to Hakata station where you connect to airport and attractions by Metro and other Cities by JR. We hired taxi from FUK International terminal to hotel is only cost 2,050 yen($14.26). 10 minutes walk to Canal City and Hakata Yatai (Food Stalls) where we enjoyed our sightseeing as soon as we arrived.
I am sure we will stay at this hotel if we visit Fukuoka again.

We were very glad to be able to book the hotel stay as the location screamed convenience, just 50 metres after crossing over from Kittle. Our last stay in Chitose was the ANA Crown Plaza also so it pays to see how this ANA fares too .. J
We reached from Kumamoto and was so pleasantly surprised they allow us to check-in, just about 12 noon! And the room stay comes with complimentary breakfast!!
Ours is a Twin Bed and the room serves with air conditioning, an LCD TV. However noted that satellite channels are quite limited and we have to lower a/c temp to below 20 deg to have the cooling effect. It’s still March! Our programmes are full so did not quiet explore the facilities but we know that there is a fitness centre and L1 Mezzanine Bar.
With Kitte so nearby food is never an issue. Still we had our breakfast at L1 over 3 mornings, (otherwise 3000 Yen per pax). It is continental spread and many local cuisines, one can make your own udon meal, no susihi though.
We made Taxi reservation on the last morning 7am and the friendly concierge lady assisted us well. Was a smooth journey to Airport.
Overall a great stay here, kudos to all the great staff! In fact comparable to the past ANA Crown Plaza we have stayed, just that the buffet breakfast spread is not extensive..

I stayed at the crowne plaza hotel during my recent business trip in February. I used to be a diamond member at IHG, but was downgraded to a basic club member a few months ago because most of my stays were at the Marriott. I decided to give this hotel a try based on the reviews I had seen online. Overall, my stay in this hotel was pleasant but there are a few areas that I would suggest improvements on.
Firstly, I'm a vegetarian and being vegetarian in Japan is a bit tricky. During breakfast, for example the hotel has a huge variety of items but it is not clear which items are vegetarian friendly and which ones aren't. For example, the Japanese curry did not clearly call out that it had beef in it and I only found out when I asked the staff if it was vegetarian and was told that it wasn't. I hope the hotel address is this by clearly labelling the food and calling out which ones are vegetarian friendly and which ones are not.
Secondly, the rooms in the hotel look a little bit dated and I feel like the hotel could invest some money in refurbishing the rooms and the general upkeep of the property. In particular, the gym, while being 24 hours open was dated with equipment looking like it was from the '70s or '80s.
Finally, the hotel has a policy of pre buying breakfast vouchers at a discount. If you don't buy these vouchers in the lobby at least a day in advance, You end up being charged more for breakfast. I found this policy a bit strange. I suppose it helps the hotel plan the quantity of food that they need to make for breakfast. But nevertheless, I feel like this process could be made simpler and people shouldn't have to pre-buy breakfast at a cheaper rate.
All in all, because of the hotel's excellent location, I'm planning to stay there once more during my upcoming business trip. However, with IHG refusing to status match or provide an accelerated fast track to diamond promotion, I am considering staying at the Hilton instead who have offered me a diamond status as part of their ongoing promotion.

The hotel is very centrally located, just across the street from the W24 exit at Hakata subway station. I arrived quite early in the morning and was offered an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Check in was very friendly and easy. Room was of a decent size and had nice touches like a phone charger already provided in the room with both lightning and usb-c charging ports.

Stayed 2 nights recently.
Both positives and negatives.
Let's start with the main negative: poor front desk service. For reference, I travel more than I'm home - diamond in IHG and titanium in Marriott Bonvoy. Front desk did not let me stay beyond 2pm even after havng used a suite upgrade and no housekeeper dying to get into the room. That's ok as there is no obligation to do so. However, when I asked if we could use the lounge for a drink before going to the airport, the desk clerk said no. Honestly, I was shocked as I had an 8:40pm flight. The lounge offers very little in the afternoon - mostly tea, coffee and cold soda. However, it's a place to chill. The lack of comprehension for a traveler's situation would preclude me from staying there again.
On the positive side, while the lounge had extremely limited evening offerings (some really awful pizza), breakfast was excellent.Housekeeping kept this aging property super-tidy. Rooms are small, as I mentioned.
On balance, a good budget option in Fukuoka. With better training of front desk staff, including the supervisor, hotel would be a better option.

During my recent stay at Crowne Plaza ANA Fukuoka, I had an exceptional experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and at ease throughout my time at the hotel. From their warm greetings to remarkable competence and attentiveness, I felt like a valued guest. The club room was a highlight of my stay, offering a delightful and luxurious experience. The spacious and comfortable accommodations exuded a sense of elegance and quality. I can confidently recommend this hotel to others and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to return in the future. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Hakata station was incredibly convenient, making it easy for me to explore the area. The presence of nearby convenience stores further added to the overall convenience and accessibility of the hotel's location.
The downside: the WiFi was very slow. It is almost impossible to send photos or upload them to social media. It is unusual for the Crown Plaza brand and frequently disconnected, impacting the overall guest experience.

Probably not. Perhaps it's better to check with hotel to see if they could make any arrangement or they may let you use the shower in the gym (if there is one)
I am sure if you email or call the hotel you will receive an answer.
Its easy, From th e airport take the subway to Hakata station and get out in exit 24.Cross the street and walk straight for 8 minutes you can see the hotel
