Great location, less than 10 minutes walk in all directions to get to everything. The room was a bit dusty, but OK. The only thing I missed was a wardrobe, as you had to live out of your suitcase. The staff is very friendly and you get a basket with fresh towels, water and toothbrushes left outside your door every day.

Red Roof Inn & Suites in Osaka offers affordable rates for decent rooms, stayed here for 4 night just last week and had no issues with it. Room size is on par with the average hotel size in Japan and they do room cleaning everyday with replacement of the basic amenities such as your toothbrush and tooth paste.
For the bed linens they would not change it unless you place a linen changing card on the bed for water/energy conservation purpose which I'm totally fine with.
The hotel itself also offers complimentary coffee/tea and water 24/7 at the lobby as well as simple breakfast every morning which are mini breads and buns. They also offer luggage deposit upon checkout so you can come back to collect them at a later timing for your departure. The hotel location is near to Namba station as well as near to kintetsu nippombashi station. Do take note there are 2 red roof establishment in osaka and you end up at the right one ;-)
Overall I would recommend this hotel and would not mind coming back for my 2nd stay in future.

Upon learning of a lengthy delay from Australia I contacted the hotel panicked about not getting there in time for check in (reception closes at midnight we were not landing until after 11, catching a train from KIK to get to hotel just before 1am). Before even getting on delayed flight I received message from hotel telling me not to worry as safety was there main priority for us and told us there would be someone waiting for us on arrival. We were so thankful for the staff as they went above and beyond and made a stressful situation less so. Would definitely stay here again.

In town for a triple meetings, I decided to stay near Namba which is convenient for food and getting around.
The front desk personnel’s are very friendly and courteous during check in, they printed out airport train schedule for me and suggested the time slots that are best for my flight.
Pretty new location, the room is clean, needing more space to spread out my paperwork from work, I booked a double room for single use then discovered there is not even a desk in the room. The wall insulation is not that great, you can hear people talking in next room or in the hallway. For tourists site seeing, this is excellent, close to all the actions in Namba.

This is a new hotel with great location, very convenient to the Namba station and Kuromon Ichiba market. The room is good enough for 2 people stay. The room is clean and provided bathing gel, shampoo and conditioner. Provided light breakfast before 9:30am every morning. Will definitely consider to book again in the future Osaka trip.

Very good location, very close to walking street, you can do shopping till you drop, a lot of restaurants around. Staff also very nice. The bed also very good & comfy. Finally i love the design of toilet separate from bathroom.

We had a great time exploring the back streets and finding cute restaurants and bars. All very manageable. Staff efficient but reception not especially warm. It’s size is typical of Japan hotels of this standard and a good geographical base to explore from.

I have nothing but praises for this hotel! They checked on us and messaged us via hotels.com as we arrived late, excellent service! room is not as big but who cares, u just sleep in the room. very clean and modern. cold aircon, strong water pressure and full sized toiletries. compli bfast as well which was unexpected. excellent location, 2 lawsons and 24hr eateries beside the hotel. super near namba station, kuromon market and takashimaya. 10-15min walk to dotonbori. anyone who complains about this hotel is just being petty as for the price of this hotel, it is extremely excellent value for money! will definitely stay here again when in Osaka.

Not that I was expecting a view, but a frosted window that barely opens to a wall leaves very little natural light and frankly quite depressing. I think you can find a better hotel in that price range easily. Would not recommend.

Great location as you could walk 5 mins to Namba Station which has a direct train to Kansai Airport. Room is clean and size is slightly bigger than most rooms near shinsaibashi and dondobori area. Complimentary simple breakfast with bread and coffee though it was not included in the room rate. Close to Kuromon market, shinsaibashi, dontobori and takashimaya shopping mall nearby. Overall value for money.
