JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku is celebrated for its stylish atmosphere and cleanliness, with guests consistently commending the well-maintained and modern facilities. The rooms, while noted as clean and tranquil, are considered small by some, a common trait for Tokyo accommodations.
The staff's friendly and helpful demeanor, along with their proficiency in English, has garnered positive attention, although there have been occasional comments about slow elevator service. Situated conveniently for exploring Shinjuku and Shibuya, the hotel's location earns high marks, yet opinions on value are mixed, with the compact room size being a sticking point for some guests.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 8 days over Xmas and New Year.
The hotel is a short 5-10 minutes walk from the Koshu-Kaido exit of Shinjuku station. Very convenient for taking the JR trains or the metro to visit the many tourist spots in the area.
Very quietdespitebeing right next to the busy streets, We never heard anything from our rooms.
We booked 2 Standard Twins and the rooms are quite spacious for Tokyo. The beds are firm and we asked for extra blankets since it was very cold when we were there.
The pillows were the only negative point in the rooms: the soft ones are too soft and the hard ones are too hard. I think some foam pillows will be better in this case but it is my own opinion.
The shower pressure is amazing and there was never an issue with the hot water.
The heated seat of the toilet is such a nice thing that I wonder why North American toilets don't have it.
The rooms on my floor are kept clean every day by 2 Vietnamese attendants who are very hard working. We also get 2 complementary bottles of water every day. There is a small fridge and even a kettle with tea bags and coffee bags. There is a safe on top of the fridge.
There is a small closet by the entrance with 6 hangers (yes, only 6) so bring some from home if you need more.
There are washers and dryers which are coin operated on floor 6, 10 and 14. It's at the end of the hallway, on the right side.
I didn't notice any noise when the washer was working but if you are worried about the noise, avoid rooms which end with the number 9 since they are right next to the washing room.
The elevators are noiseless. There is no ding to annouce when it arrives on your floor so it doesn't bother the rooms close to the elevators.
The front desk staff are very helpful. Sometimes, they don't fully understand your English request but they try very hard to please you. They can make restaurant reservation or even call the taxi if needed.
You can leave your luggage in the lobby if you arrive early or check out early. All the luggage are being kept very safely and ordely so don't worried about them if you want to go out and explore.
In summary, this hotel is a little bit pricey but you can beat the location. The McDonald is less than 50 m away and there is a convenience store ( Lawson) right next to the hotel.
Tip: There is an ATM in the LAwson store. Just press on the " English" option and you can easily withdraw money from your debit card or credit card if you run out of cash.

We stayed here twice, for 2 nights, April 2-3 at room #1308 and April 6-8, 2023 at room #1204. The rooms here are bigger than those in Hotel Gracery Shinjuku and are always clean. There are some floors with vending and ice machines and even washing machine which is quite convenient for hotel guests. There is alo a Lawson convenience store right across its main entrance and a McDonalds at the corner. The hotel is just a 3 minute walk away from the South exit of JR Shinjuku station, nearer to JR Shinjuku station than Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. All the staff are very courteous and helpful except for front desk receptionist Ms Ikeda whom we find very unhelpful. She should NOT be working in the hotel industry, she needs to undergo a proper work orientation. Their breakfast buffet is very good, it includes my all time favorites mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and natto (fermented soybeans). We had our last dinner in Tokyo of kurobota nabe set (shabu shabu of black pork) at their ground floor Unaya resto which was good. We could see there were many resto customers who were not their hotel guests.

I previously lived in Japan and travel there regularly. I always stay in Shinjuku for the convenience and was very impressed with the Hotel Blossom. The room was spotless and felt almost brand new. The front desk staff were excellent and spoke very good English. The best part of the hotel is the location which is perfectly situated just a 5 minute walk from Shinjuku station. From there, you can easily get anywhere you need to in Tokyo. There’s also a convenience store conveniently (ahem) located right next door, great for picking up snacks and the like.
The hotel is on the west side of the Shinjuku district which is the quieter (but still quite lively) side of Shinjuku. “Electric Street” is nearby along with many restaurants and cafes. Just be aware that to get to the heart of the Shinjuku area around Kabukicho is a 10-15 minute walk.
We didn’t do breakfast at the hotel which seemed overpriced to be honest. For the best deal in Shinjuku, there is a Komeda coffee branch a 5-7 minute walk away where you can get an excellent morning set for breakfast for a very reasonable price.
To get to the hotel from Shinjuku Station, head for the South Exit. At the main intersection you’ll see a Lumines department store on one corner and a McDonald’s just past the opposite corner. Head towards the McDonald’s and then turn right down the side street. You’ll see the hotel about 40 yards down on the left hand side.

It was just a comfortable stay, which is hard to achieve in shinjuku. There is English speaking staff, having BBC in tele was welcome, the room wasn't cramped and the bath/shower has good pressure. The downside is that the room was overly dry even with the humidifier on. The location is great, the airport shuttle is 5-7 mins walk away. So basically it's at your doorstep from Narita.

If you want to be just moments from the thick of Shinjuku action, this is just the place. It is just a few minutes walk from the world’s busiest train station, and enough shops and nightlife to keep you going for months.
It’s on a quiet side street, so noise is definitely not an issue.
Conveniently, ice, microwaves and washing facilities are available on a few floors.
The rooms are comfy. It has a restaurant attached and although we didn’t eat there, the buffet breakfast looked delicious.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It will still be our top choice for staying in Shinjuku. We were lucky to grab a great price when Japan first re-opened for tourists, I heard that prices will go up a lot from November. Service is good as previous and whilst the rooms are slightly dated, it’s still excellent value for money in a very convenient location.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband as part of our 3 week trip in Japan. The hotel is a great base for exploring Tokyo and only a few minutes walk from Shinjuku bus station and train station. Lots of options of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel stored our luggage for the day as we arrived early morning and had our luggage waiting in our room upon our return which we appreciated. The room itself was quite snug - not much room to put luggage once cases were opened so if space is important to you I'd suggest booking something slightly bigger.

This is a great location if you are visiting Tokyo. It is about a 5 minute walk to the station, so you can get anywhere quickly by train/subway. This hotel is close to all of the bars & restaurants and all of the sights and sounds of Shinjuku, but is a couple of streets removed, so it is nice and quiet at night. The area is safe and walkable. We paid for the daily breakfast and would recommend it - it has a good selection of both Asian and Western foods.

This was a perfect place to stay while exploring Tokyo for a few days. Location was great (right by the train station but still a relatively quiet area) and even though the rooms are small they’re pretty comparable to other Tokyo options and don’t feel too cramped. We didn’t spend much time here as we were out exploring but the beds were comfortable at night and the staff were very accommodating. It’s also close to a bunch of restaurants and convenience stores for food/snacks which was helpful when coming back late at night.

The hotel is located in one of the many "hearts" of Tokyo and precisely in Shinjuku, in a convenient location because it is a short walk from a large train and metro station, from which you can leave for any destination in Tokyo (or, if necessary, even outside Tokyo). Appreciable that within a few meters there are various bars, restaurants, as well as several emporiums. It is elegantly furnished and the rooms are a bit more spacious and comfortable than the Japanese average (although we had two "standard double rooms"). The breakfast room is very large, the quality of "European" breakfasts is better than other Japanese facilities. Cleanliness is at the top. The staff at the reception is very courteous and helpful (helped us effectively for some bookings). Comfortable water dispenser, hot, at room temperature and ice, available on the various floors.

Thank you, Wendy. I think we will take the NEX at the end.
From memory I'm sure there was a wardrobe but I personally never used it
By the way, forgort to mention that we also stored our luggages in this hotel as well, as we were there early- way before check in time
I am not sure whether the buses will drop off directly outside hotel but I’m pretty sure that you can get a bus from each of the airports to Shinjuku. We flew into Haneda and used the underground train system to get to hotel which involved I think a couple of train line changes and then a 5-10 minute walk from Shinjuku station to the hotel. The biggest challenge is locating the escalators / elevators at each station to avoid stairs with your luggage, it can be done but adds time.
