Detailed Reviews
This was our first time in Tokyo and although we usually stay in airbnb's when we travel, we decided to go with a hotel for this trip and couldn't have been happier with this place. It is very well centralized, only about a mile from the main (10-15 min walk) hub of Shinjuku station. There is also a train stop for some stops about half a block away from the hotel. The walk from the main station was a bit confusing the first time but with google maps and a taking a trip or two we were able to quickly find our bearings and navigate the walk easily. The walk to the hotel is also a good way to soak in a slice of busy downtown Tokyo, with food, bright lights, and people everywhere.
The hotel is a bit set back from the action, which was nice for us with two kids and offered a bit of respite from the business. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful and spoke English, which was great since we don't speak Japanese. The lobby was clean and spacious. The room had two full sized beds, a small couch with a TV. Fair warning, the room was tight but cozy. There wasn't much extra space. It was compact but we never felt crammed. The highlight of the room, for me, was the bathroom. The heated toilet seats with badet! The bathroom took up about half of the square footage of the whole room. Excessive? Maybe. But worth the experience. The shower is not a traditional American shower but is a small room with a mesh matted floor and a shower head. There was no tub. It was new for us. Right outside of the hotel, there was chain ramen shop, a 7/11 (huge and amazing in Tokyo), coffee shops, a small shopping center, and other restaurants. A farther walk (~10 minutes), in the direction of the train station, puts you in the middle of it. Here you'll find "Memory Lane" with it's delicious Yakitori and cool atmosphere. All in all, the location was ideal, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was well priced. If I'm lucky enough to be back in Tokyo, I would definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel last minute & price was just right. The train station is literally a few steps away from the train station (red M line) that connects to other parts of Tokyo. The convinience of the proximity of the hotel to coffee shops, 711, and some restaurants… not to mention McDo across the street if you ever have McDo craving if traveling…
It’s about 10-15 mins walking distance to Shinjuku train station and main attractions…Also near the gov building for the 45th floor observatory (free).
The hotel itself was comfortable and clean. I didn’t want my room cleaned daily but they made sure to give me fresh towels and bottled water waiting outside my room. It was quiet also. I was sleepless during my trip and thats because I never adjusted to the time difference but I walked around the neighborhood around 4am looking for food and I felt safe.
They have breakfast buffet but I did not try. The room I stayed in was small, good for 1-2 peeps. I like how I can open the windows cus I had no idea how to turn off/on the ac/heating system. I just like the fresh air but it can be dangerous as theres no screen, so be careful!
There was also a small earthquake while I stayed at the hotel on the 7th floor, bur other than that, the building felt safe.
Will prolly stay here again if I come back to Shinjuku!

We stayed in a double room (non-smoking) in the annex, and overall we really liked the hotel but our only complaint is that the room is very small, so if you're staying in Japan for a long holiday and you're bringing large suitcases then I would recommend paying a bit more to book a larger room.
The hotel is a ten minute walk East of main Shinjuku station and it's away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping area so it's nice and quiet, while still being within reach of the main attractions of Shinjuku. The annex building is very cute and charming with roses growing around the entrance, and a nice communal seating area downstairs (if you don't have space to sit in your room, which we didn't because our suitcases were occupying every spare space!).
The breakfast options are great, both Western and Japanese options available and omelettes cooked fresh on demand. The restaurant also offers decent Italian dining in the evening, would definitely recommend eating there if you don't want to venture out to the many restaurants around Shinjuku.
The staff speak good English and we found that everyone was very helpful.
Overall I would highly recommend the hotel, and would stay here again, but next time would pay extra for a larger room!

Experience shows me that you should never trust traveler comments. This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life.
The room shown in the photo when booking was a normal room with beds side by side: we had a tiny room in which there were two bunk beds with zero space between the bed and the wall, barely enough to fit in. the width, you had to face the wall to move sideways. We had to take some furniture out and put it in the hallway so that our 3 suitcases could fit into the room.
Terrible bedding, mattresses as hard as wooden planks barely 8 cm thick.
Almost zero sound insulation, I'll let you imagine the noise in the center of Tokyo.
The breakfast buffet is a disgrace. Food in quantity certainly but not of good quality, not enough seats, we were offered to have breakfast outside even though it was barely 10 degrees.
And finally to top it all off, the staff at the reception are rather unpleasant and very unhelpful and don't speak a word of English.
Never book in this hotel you will risk your physical and mental health!!

I didn't know what to expect on hotels in Japan. Yes, size will be smaller than in other countries but what else would be different?
This property is the perfect place to acclimatise and familiarise yourself with teh country and culture.
It is located very close to Exit 1 off the Nishi-shinjuku station which is the next one after Shinjuku station. As others have noted, lots of shops around with a Yoshinoya (I think) at the corner. While it is a 'chain' restaurant, one must try eating there as the food is very tasty and cheap.
There are ice machines which produced the perfect size ice cubes for our drink bottle (a must during hot summer days - 35C!). It provides amenities, from tea bags to comb and lotion. Pick up as much as you need. Bathtub allowed soaking our weary bones after a long day of walking and eating our way through Shinjuku and Shibuya.
Breakfast was plentiful with enough varieties, Japanese and Western. You can order eggs, cooked the way you like it. Don't forget to try the individually packaged seaweed. The staff was attentive and helpful. As always, it would get busy from 8am-ish.
Their restaurant was popular with locals, as you can get a platter for around 5000 yen, feeding several people.
All in all, I would definitely come back to stay at this property if I'm staying in the Shinjuku area.

The hotel reception staffs are friendly. Rooms are really small, can only fit one open luggage on the stool.
Location wise it is near to train stations which is good.
Altogether we booked 3 rooms. 2 of the rooms paid for everyday room services, and one for every 3 days.
- Room services really need quality check. The don't vacuum the carpet, they don't wash used cup, not friendly. All 3 rooms get a different type of room spiller. 2 rooms get the cheap paper-thin slippers when we were the one paid the price for everyday room services.
- Our rooms were all located on the street next to the main hotel building. There was no towel in one of the rooms. Called hotel for a towel at night and was told no room service at that time need to wait for the morning.
- If you plan to do laundry, suggest do it first thing when they open at 7am. There are only 3 machines (1 dryer, 1 washing machine and another one with both dryer and washing function). otherwise, it is a waiting game.

Arriving on 23/04 with a reservation for a double room we found ourselves with a room with a bunk bed, the bed on the floor (camping style) a queen size and not a double and an unused bed above, the room very small that even the suitcases couldn't be opened, we had to put them on the unused upper bed. We went downstairs to ask about it and they told us that the room selection is at the discretion of the hotel and that it is a semi-continental and other rooms are not available, but if we wanted a bigger room we have to pay around 49000 yen (we are joking!!!!!). Zero customer care.
We also walked into the room and it was full of hair and dander.
Also not to mention the terrible breakfast with boiled beef and raw egg. Old croissants and waffles. I'm only heartened by the fact that I'm in Tokyo and only use the room to sleep.

We stayed here a full week.
The room is quite small.
The service is very friendly at the front desk.
The breakfast buffet was smaller than I had expected, but ok. They also function as a restaurant at evenings, and it was ok.
Location is close to a subway station, and it is one stop to Shinjuku.
From the airport, if you have luggage, I would suggest to take the Airport Limousine Bus to Tokyo Hilton and from there it is a short walk to this hotel. This way you do not need to go with your luggage in local trains/subway, which is not recommended.
There is a microwave oven in the laundry room, if you wish to warm your own food, which you can buy e.g. from the Family Mart nearby. Or they can also warm it for you at the FamilyMart.
I wish we had stayed maybe even closer to Shinjuku or Shibuya, but this was ok.
There is a hospital near, so on many nights we woke up to the sirens, so there is some noise from the street.

Stayed here with my husband and two teenage children for six nights. Beautiful bathroom and can tell that it has been recently renovated. The room was a little tight with four single beds but that was to be expected in Japan. Both room and bathroom were nice and clean with towels, toiletries and water replenished daily.
The location of this hotel was perfect. 7/11 on one side, Family mart and Nishishinjuku on the other and McDonald’s directly opposite. Make sure you go to the Can do shop (100 yen) nearby as you can buy lots of small items. Shinjuku station was a 13 minute walk.
We used the limobus from the airport which dropped us off locally and then it was a short walk to the hotel.
Breakfast was served in a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. It was limited but everything was fresh and of a good standard.

I tried to find details on this property but couldn't find much but still went ahead and book it as they had room for 3 and 4 people. Later was getting confused and was not sure but still went ahead. Good !! I didn't cancel despite reading few bad reviews. We had book 1 room for 3 people (annex) and 1 twin room (main renovated) 2 people and later realized it was 2 different building. Contacted them on email and no reply for 2 months and near the time i contacted them through IG and got instant reply. Ms Kato /Reception was very prompt and understood our needs and despite the hotel was sold out, she moved twin room to semi double in same floor and same building (annex) for us. We had to downgrade if we wanted to stay together which we agreed, no refund through as we had booked with Agoda.
Check in was smooth and very quick with trick n treat sweets. Our rooms were small but it was clean / all amenities available and triple room the twin bed and extra bed was good size. Semi double was smaller than queen so had to put my 2 gals in there. Bathroom has bathtub and the amenities which were not available in the room could be taken from reception. They provide coffee machines. Ice machines available in all the floor. Microwave available on the ground floor with utensils.
We had pleasant 3 nights stay. Not too far from main shinjuku. U are looking at approx 10-15 min walk to main Shinjuku area. This hotel is on quite side of Nishi shinjuku close to Mcdonald, Lawson, 7/11 and eatery few min walk away.
2 -3 min walk to subway station. If you want to use elevator, then take the exit 2. Exit 1 which is near to the hotel is only stairs. Surely recommend !! We have been to Tokyo 3 times already and had stayed in Sheraton - Tokyo bay and Metropolitain Ikebukuro before and now can add this property in the list which can be repeated without any doubt.
