Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Our teens had a small room with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet. We had a large room with a separate bedroom, also with a spacious bathroom and separate toilet (Junior Suite). The beds are firm, but by the second night we were used to them. We would highly recommend the larger room as it provided a great space for us all to get together comfortably.
The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff are helpful and friendly.
The location is great - a 5 min walk to the closest small train station, or an easy 15 minute walk to enormous Shinjuku Station. The Shinjuku Nishi area is relaxing as not frantic like a lot of Tokyo.
There are restaurants very close, plus Starbucks and the Hilton nearby has a great bakery. We loved the small sushi bar style restaurant across the main road. We went to Roys Cafe in the hotel for a simple breakfast each morning including good coffee. A more extensive breakfast is available at the restaurant,

Stayed 7 nights, a double and a twin bed on 12th floor. We would recommend twin bed for grown up kids as the double is approx 150-160 cm wide. The room is modern and very convenient. The bathroom has a tub and a separate shower cabin. The shower is powerful and efficient. The A/C is very responsive and efficient. There are multiple USB power outlets spread all over the room so there will be no problem to charge your devices.
The beds are quite firm as is the pillows.
I read a review about mold and moisture in the bathroom, we experienced nothing of that. Water bottles can be purchased in the 7-eleven store in the building. The room is quite small by international standards but very normal for Tokyo. The breakfast is also very nice with a mixture of western food like scrambled eggs, sasuage, bacon, bread, yoghurt and asian food like dumplings and Japaneese specialities. A chocolate fountain was also available for sweet lovers...
The location is perfect. Quite business area close to subway station yet an area with a number of restaurants within walking distance.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and whenever we come back we will stay here.

The hotel is relatively new. I like that it comes with a Japanese style buffet breakfast but the last entry is at 9.30 am, a little earlier than the usual 10 am. If you are already in there before 9.30 am, you can continue to eat.
The room is on the smaller side but enough for one person. And I like the bathroom, which is a good size. There is a small bathtub, good separate shower and of course the Japanese style toilet with music and all.
All the basic amenities are provided; kettle, tea/coffee, there is also a trouser presser? But I prefer a proper iron so I requested one from the reception.
The location is also convenient, not too far from the subway and is also on the quieter side.
There is no gym at the hotel, but you want to be out and about when you are in Tokyo. The check- out is also easy with a kiosk, which you just have to insert your key card.
I would return and stay there again for sure.

We chose the Daiwa Nishi-Shinjuku due to its location, and we wanted a property with a proper Japanese bath and amenities. We were not disappointed. We stayed for 10 nights and had a great stay. The front desk staff speak great English and were very friendly. Additionally the housekeeping staff also spoke English and were very accommodating as well. There were three of us in the room, and although a little tight we managed just fine, and my wife and daughter do not travel light. The room was awesome, well lit, spotless and the Japanese style bathroom to die for. The room had everything you would need for a comfortable stay, drip coffee and tea via the kettle, a safe and a decent sized closet, with everything from combs to toothbrushes provided daily. The room was cleaned daily, and like I stated before-spotless. We ate breakfast at the on-site restaurant, as well as at surrounding establishments. The Marunouchi Line was a 5 minute walk, and you are 1 stop from Shinjuku via Shinjuku Station. The Marunouchi Line connects easily to anywhere you would like to go in Tokyo. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Stay in this establishment for six nights. Although the check in time is 1400 hrs, due to the arrival time of our flight, we were at the hotel by 1030 hrs.
Understandably, our room was not yet available. Went to a nearby coffee shop to kill some time and get over the jet lag and when we checked again at 1230 hrs, we were handed our key card.
The room is compact, functional and very clean. Love the bathroom. The water temperature of the shower and bath was already preset at a very comfortable temperature. (Very nice touch)
The sleep quality of the bed was excellent and the air conditioner controls was very easy to use.
Another nice touch was the counter at reception where guest can help themselves to coffee, tea, and bath any oral hygiene amenities.
An extension to the checkout time of 1100 hrs is also available at 1,000 Yen an hour.
Breakfast options was very decent with a choice of western or Japanese options.
Love the fact that they had a self service laundry which I used once. Perfect !
Location wish, very easy access to the Nishi Shinjuku metro station and food options are just a short walk away.
Overall an excellent experience.

Stayed at the daiwa roynet in nishi shinjuku with my family of 4 in the junior suite. Hotel located in a quiet business area away from the hustle and bustle of shinjuku. Only a short walk from the nearest station and one train stop away from shinjuku. A great home base as we explored Tokyo. Lots of small restaurants around and a 7/11 attached to the hotel. Lots of family mart around the hotel as well if you want variety. Junior suite was beautiful, impeccably clean and well appointed. It was spacious and enough space to move around for our family of 4. We had four single beds that were really comfortable. Our favourite was the rain shower and the huge bathtub! Toilet was separate from the main bathroom which helped immensely. Reception staff were lovely, spoke english and were very very helpful. They stored our luggage when we left the hotel to visit other cities and had it ready and waiting for us in the room upon our return. The amenities table in the lobby had everything we needed and were also welcomed with a scented disposable facetowel at check in to freshen up. This hotel was our favourite amongst all the hotels we stayed at in this Japan trip, we were excited and looked forward to return to tokyo and daiwa roynet because it truly felt like home. We got to try the two junior suites during our two separate stays and we loved both of them equally. One had a separate seating area and one was open plan. They also had a massage chair in the room which we used often after a long day of walking and exploring.
Thank you so much to the staff for a memorable stay! :)

The room we stayed at was not very large but it had everything we needed, and the bathroom was an absolute delight, with the configuration of the bathtub and the shower in the most practical design I have seen.
The bed was very comfortable (although stuck to the wall on one side, which made it a challenge to get out of from that side), and so were the pillows and duvet. Windows could not be opened, but the heating system was very efficient.
I felt the room lacked storage options, so we were obliged to keep the suitcases full of clothes, pretty much on the way of the small sofa.
The breakfast is offered by an external restaurant, and it is wonderful.
Very close to the Shinjuku metro station, and close to parks and other major hotels.
Toiletries of very good quality and amenities like (really good) coffee were found at the lobby.
The front desk personnel were correct, but rather cold and indifferent.

We have enjoyed our 3 night stay at Daiwa Roynet. The rooms aren’t big but it does have a large bathroom . The room is extremely clean and near new. It was fine for a family of 4. And very affordable for Tokyo. We paid around $400 a night which included breakfast. The hotel is close to the train and a number of great restaurants. Getting here from the airport (Narita) was easy on the Friendly Limousine bus . It dropped us at the Hilton & we walked 2mins around the corner. We would most definitely stay here again!

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Nishi-Shinjuku Premier is an excellent option for anyone who wants a clean and quiet room in a relatively central area. The closest subway stations are about a 5 to 10 minute walk. The hotel is conveniently connected to a 7-11. And there is a dedicated area for taxi drop offs and pick ups. The included breakfast buffet is particularly good. With a wide selection of both Japanese and international dishes. There are complimentary service items in the lobby as well.
