Near the station, the cospa is very good. It's very nice to have a mirror in the room, but I hit the ledge a few times, which is typical of TV remains. Other people are probably bumping it, so it's noisy late. I'm glad the shower was well-cleaned, but I'm sorry for the mold on the curtains. Breakfast is eaten at Starbucks in front of the station, but it doesn’t open until 7am, so we went to Starbucks near where we were going. Finally, the entrance is on the second floor and there is no elevator to that point, so I think I would have been tired if I had a carry-on.

I booked from expedia and read the reviews before booking, and everything on the comments/review sections seems to be pretty accurate
The capsules are more modern than other places, it’s very clean and well organized. They gave me a bag filled with 2 towels, Pj’s , toothbrush set, slippers and a tray inside the assigned locker. The locker assigned is pretty big, enough to fit one cabin sized luggage, a full sized backpack, wintercoat and more. It just wouldn’t fir larger size luggages, but there are space available for that! The receptionist also offered to keep my huge luggage in the locker on the lobby floor (which I personally think is safer, there’s tag number, my name signed on a form and someone will always be there to look after it imo?). The shower size is pretty tight, I didn’t get to try the sauna though. The capsule size is okay, yes there will be noise every now and then, but it’s manageable, it’s just like having a roommate back in Toronto.
I felt secured and confident once I found out that everyone needs to give their keys to the receptionists everytime they leave the building, and exchange it with a token/card-like with their room number on it. I think it’s brilliant for security purposes.
The pillow is a bit weird, like made out of beans or something. It’s fine with me though cause I have my own travel neck pillow. There is a blanket as well. The “door” on the website looks like an actual door, but it’s actually just a blind.
The only thing you should know is that food and drink is not allowed in the cabin (allowed in the lobby only), the shower room is in a different floor. There is elevator, but must be able to take one level stair up to the lobby.
Overall, I have a good experience. It’s perfect if you are on a budget, just need somewhere to crash and don’t mind tight spaces. Remember to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! :)

This is a capsule hotel where you can enjoy a sauna. You have to use the stairs to reach the front desk at the 2nd floor, so it can be challenging if you have heavy large luggage. The facility's Finnish-style sauna is quite hot, and there are several cold showers with temperatures ranging from 15°C to the ambient. There is a relaxation area where you can feel the outside air, but it is very small and you can hear the sounds of the bustling downtown area outside. The capsule rooms have only the bare minimum of amenities. The shared spaces can be crowded depending on the time of day. If your main purposes are to use the sauna and have a place to sleep near Shibuya, this is a very cost-effective choice.

The price was quite cheap, so I can't say anything extravagant, but there were wet towels and toothpaste left in the shower room that I didn't know who had used, which seemed unsanitary.
It seemed like they were supposed to clean it at set times, so I guess it would be clean after cleaning.
The loungewear also seemed quite old, so I hesitated to wear it.
The capsule had two power outlets, but one of them was dead.
I had an extension cord with me so it wasn't a problem, but it would be difficult for people who don't have an extension cord and need to charge two devices.
The locker was small, so it would have been difficult to store a coat if you were wearing one in the middle of winter.
The room temperature was completely different between the locker and the capsule, and this time it was cold in the locker and hot in the capsule.

Overall the facilities are nice. However, you MUST checkout each day at 10am until 1pm regardless of whether you have a multi day booking. This is a large hassle.
Moreover, the showers are all located on a different floor and are in a freezing cold room.

A capsule hotel in Ebisu, close to Shibuya.
The sauna is great.
The lounge is quiet, so you can work there.
The beds are compact, of course, but not too uncomfortable.
Lockers, loungewear, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are provided.

1 min walk from the station, free wifi, clean bathroom and friendly staff. I wish there’s a small foldable desk in the bedroom so that I can use my laptop.
The sleep area is also quiet. Slippers, room wear, towels, shampoo are also provided.
Can buy razor, water, skincare set at the check-in counter.

Very helpful staff. Facilities are extremely well kept and clean. Great location, 2 minute walk to Ebisu station on the Yamanote line. Less than 10 minutes on the train to Shinjuku, Harajuku and Shibuya. Highly Recommeneded!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in February 2020. I really enjoyed the stay. I thought it was an exciting and different experience for a really good price and in an excellent location. The bathroom facilities were great, as was the sauna. My boyfriend and I both agreed that the beds were not the comfiest and it was often difficult to sleep due to the volume of other guests on the corridor and that the corridor light was left on all night. Also, it was absolutely boiling!
Staff were very helpful.
Although this was a fun experience, I would recommend it for the solo traveller or friends of the name gender, not couples. Exciting for a few nights but if you're a light sleeper it's maybe not the place for you.

This is place is very cheap. I stayed here two nights while vacationing in Tokyo. The capsules are small (duh), but they're tall enough that you can sit up in them, unless you're a giant. The beds are comfy enough, and a blanket and pillow are provided. Each capsule also has a TV and a plug for you to plug in a charger. It wasn't the ideal place to sleep after my 11.5 hour flight, but it was definitely adequate for the cost.
Biggest downside: no room for storage of luggage. You can pay to rent some lockers, but even the paid lockers weren't big enough for my bag.
The format may be a bit confusing - I know I was confused at first. Here's what I learned:
Remove your shoes when you enter. They will provide you with a locker in which you can put your shoes after you check in.
Inside that same locker is a towel and robe, which you'll probably want.
The capsule themselves are not locked. There is a pull-down mat that can be used when you're in there to shut out the world.
If, like me, you have luggage - that sucks. I had to sleep with my bag in the capsule. It wasn't ideal, but there was still enough room for me to be relatively comfortable.
There is a room with several showers on the same floor as the lobby. The showers are nice, and soap & shampoo is provided. The shower room is shared between all guests, including women and men, so get comfortable. Just be respectful of the people around you, and you'll be fine; the environment is safe.
Bathroom is also shared on the floor your capsule is in.
If you are staying more than one night, you'll need to drop off your key (for the locker) at the front desk when you leave, and then pick it up when you get back.
I recommend, for showering, you take the robe & towel they give you out of the locker, awkwardly change into the robe in your capsule (you can do it, there's more room than you think), take the towel with you in the elevator down to the 2nd floor, shower, don't stare at anyone else you might see showering, put the robe back on, and head back upstairs to awkwardly get dressed in your capsule.
All in all, for the money, it's not a bad deal, providing all the amenities you need for a place to stay, just in a strange format. And hopefully you're not claustrophobic.
