Petit St Vincent is a luxurious private island paradise, tucked away in the Grenadine islands of the West Indies, a tropical barefoot hideaway offering guests the rare chance to unplug from the normal day to day urban technological clutch.Aside from offering opulent comforts, ultimate privacy and an understated yet attentive service, there exists a conspicuous and deliberate absence of connectivity to the outside world: no TV’s, phones or internet in the beach front villas and elevated bluff cottages, encouraging you to unwind, relax and enjoy each other’s company without any unwanted distractions. With 115 acres of natural tropical woodlands and just 22 guest cottages, seclusion is guaranteed. Each beautifully designed guest cottage is decorated in marine shades and tangled driftwood furnishings reflecting the island’s uncluttered vibe. This elegant but unpretentious boutique island resort is surrounded by clear turquoise waters, rich tropical reefs and 2 miles of stunning white-sand beaches.

I went to PSV this June with my partner to visit his family who were also staying at the resort and everything was fantastic! although it was a hike to get to the island (3 plane rides and a boat ride for us), it was definitely worth it for the experience. We stayed in a one bedroom beach cottage that was clean and comfortable with easy access to the rest of the island. We were provided bikes to get around easily, but also had the option of walking or calling a ride. The food at the main restaurant and at the beach bar was delicious and the staff went out of their way to meet any dietary restrictions and preferences. The beaches were clear with sandy bottoms and perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and just floating and hanging out. We also got a Balinese massage and facial at the spa, both of which were very relaxing. Overall our experience at PSV was delightful! 😊

We landed on 28 January 2020 in Barbados and were met by a resort rep who guided us through arrivals and almost immediately on to the small 'plane to Union Island. Again a smooth arrival and a taxi was waiting to take us to the jetty. We were welcomed by Maurice the captain of the boat to take us to PSV and off we set. Matt the manager was waiting with Otnel, his right hand man, complete with obligatory blue moke and pina coladas. We were given a guided tour of the island and then were taken to our cottage, our home for the next 2 weeks and one day.
We can honestly say the holiday far exceeded our expectations. The kindness and first class service that we experienced was second to none. There is great attention to detail and a strong desire to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to all of the PSV family, you have a unique formula, long may it continue.

A lovely and tranquil place to relax, perfect for the Covid era. No crowds, we barely saw our fellow guests except at dinner times.
The meals were very nicely prepared except for the BBQ’s, we ended up having 2 BBQ’s during the week we were there, which was a bummer because I really didn’t care for BBQ’s. I really like the fact that there was no prepackaged processed food to be found anywhere on the island. Everything was freshly prepared for consumption at meal times. The portion size was good too, not too huge.
The service, while not flawless, was always friendly. We were greeted by the managers with frozen drinks on arrival and sent away with to go lunches on the day we left.
The only huge negative was the mosquitos. We are from California where mosquitoes are virtually nonexistent so we were not prepared to deal with mosquitoes until we went to the boutique to get “Off”, we finished 2 cans of those in 3 days. The mosquitoes also kept us inside our bedrooms at dawn, dusk and evenings, instead of any place outside.

I booked a family trip at Petit St Vincent for Thanksgiving week 2021. Their reservations team told me they arrange “private air transfers” to union island from BGI for $1400 for 4 people. To my surprise, for my departing flight back home, they booked me on a flight that was 6.5 hours before my actual departure time! They expected me to burn my entire day sitting at an airport, with my 2 small children, during COVID times , for hours. When I complained about this they told me this is the only flight they have. Why say it’s a “private” air transfer when you only have one flight that you’re putting everyone on, regardless of their departure times? Also why not let guests know about this important logistical fact when they’re booking their reservation?
And for the worst part— the reservations manager called me only to tell me that “I should pick another destination” that somehow “I will not be happy there”. Unbelievable! This person then had the audacity to cancel my reservation without my consent and refused to reinstate it despite our requests. I had all our flights booked and couldn’t get out of them. When we talked to the GM of the resort (who’s very nice), he told us the room they have for us was “not appropriate” for children. Its as if they decided we did not belong there. Hard to imagine these kinds of interactions would happen at a luxury resort but they did. Shame on them for ruining our family vacation and deciding FOR us where we should and should not go. I’m sure the resort is nice but they should know first impression is the last impression.

We had hoped to visit Petit St Vincent for years and are thrilled that we made it. Began with private air transfer in a very small twin prop and gorgeous views to Union Island, with a PSV boat transfer to the resort where you are in a 'bubble' with all fully-vaccinated staff and guests. All 22 cottages are very spaced out around the island, very private; we had Cottage 18 with incredible Atlantic and Caribbean views from the large deck with a table, chairs and loungers. Large bedroom and bath (double vanities and rock shower), nice sitting area with large glass windows and doors throughout. The resort team has thought of everything: the Flag system to request anything you want, anytime (or raise the Red flag to be completely undisturbed). We used this to ask for early morning coffee, mini bar and ice delivery, etc. We also had yoga mats and barbells delivered for our use. We loved our daily morning walks around the island perimeter and seeing the 7 pet sheep. It is wonderful to walk everywhere, to the beach, restaurants, bars, spa, yoga pavilion for thrice-weekly classes, etc. And there is a 'torch' (small flashlight) that we used when walking to dinner in the evening. All food was wonderful and the chilled frangiopani towels each night were magically fragrant and refreshing. Staff and service was so friendly and professional; we will long remember Kenneth, Robert, Clive, Shera, Primus, Small, Dale and many others! Management team of Matt, Anie and Otnel guide a fabulous team. It may not be for everyone but for those looking to unplug and bask in a peaceful, gorgeous spot, this is it!

This is a difficult review to write. Having been twice before we were expecting more of the same, but what we got was quite different.
There has been a change in ownership and management which has really impacted on the island.
There was a distinct lack of management and some of the staff were clearly quite demoralised. Quite a few of the staff apologised that new management was taking a little time to get things up to par and we never saw any of them around. Such a shame.
The accommodation is good but the high price you pay has to cover more than just a nice cottage. Unfortunately the food is a big let down and has been dumbed down considerably. There was also a lack of people there, not something that you can say is the fault of the resort, but I wonder if the high price versus what you now get is putting people off.
Breakfast has good choices and of course you can go the main restaurant gardens to eat or have it served to your room.
Lunch and dinner is served at Goaties, the beach restaurant, and has an extensive menu but it doesn't change. .Previously if you went to Goaties there were always live lobsters available from the lobster well, but not this time. The only lobster that was available was in a wrap or tempura and quite frankly the pieces of lobster were grisly and chewy and inedible. The lack of people also meant that there was virtually no-one in Goaties in the evening. Clive and the staff were always pleased to see you therefore and were the friendliest staff around.
The main restaurant is only open in the evenings and serves a 3 course dinner which is good and has a good atmosphere.
Staff wise there should be a special mention for Gede and Primus who were always helpful and friendly and Kenroy who took care of us most days in the restaurants. I think all the staff did their best with what was going on there.
The West End beaches are well looked after but the furniture is now a bit past its sell by date with tatty cushions and broken arms on loungers.
Being in one of the most isolated cottages with a temperamental satellite phone, we relied on the flag system. Unfortunately for us this did not always work. When you put a note in the box outside your cottage and put the yellow flag up for service, the note is taken but not always actioned. Twice we requested evening transport and neither time did it come.
Overall we were a bit disappointed with the trip.

We had the most spectacular trip to PSV. The island is more beautiful than we could have imagined. Our cottage had incredible views and was so secluded that we felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. We absolutely loved that there were no TVs and no WIFI in our cottage, it really allowed us to disconnect and enjoy all that PSV has to offer. The flag system is also so much fun! Every activity we scheduled was wonderful - scuba, our trip on beauty, massages, everything was top-notch. Also, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming, we were truly saying goodbye to friends by the end of our stay.
Our biggest surprise of the trip was just how delicious all of the food was. We seriously had some of the best meals we have ever had on this trip. The dinner menu rotates every night and there were never any repeats, the variety was unbelievable! Chef Nengah is so amazingly talented and we want to thank him for making our trip extra special. He came out to chat with us most evenings and even made us some special sushi dinners after learning that we loved sushi. We seriously cannot say enough about all of the delicious meals we had during our trip!

We travelled to PSV at spring break ( 2 adults 4 young children). I think that our recent trip was our 6th or 7th visit to the island . Quiet, safe and great for kids. Pristine beaches and ocean, great staff, and the accommodations are very comfortable. Each cottage is cleverly situated and landscaped to make it seem that you are the only people on the island. Food is great but if you are there for more than a week you might find the beach cafe menu a little repetitive, The main restaurant varies it' s menu so problem solved, We understand that a third restaurant may be added.. No phones or wifi in the rooms helps you disconnect (and gets your kids to pick up books....)

The beach and ocean vistas are so incredibly beautiful. Even when the resort is fully booked there is so much space on the island that it never feels at all crowded. PSV is a beautiful, tranquil resort with a quiet, yet friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Guests are primarily couples and it is a place for romantic dinners and star gazing vs. nightlife or a lot of mixing/mingling. The staff is outstanding—friendly, helpful and interested in providing a great experience for guests. Management is extremely considerate and customer focused. We had a couple of service issues which were handled immediately and well—the true mark of a great resort.
All meals are included and we found the food to be consistently excellent. The Balinese massage is great, with experienced therapists in a lovely “treehouse” setting. Cottages are pretty and very comfortable with lots of privacy and gorgeous ocean views. There is no internet in the rooms, which we hope will change soon as you need to visit the main office to get reliable internet. Despite some service glitches with the flag communication system, PSV is truly wonderful and we hope to return soon. Highly recommended for a beautiful, quiet, relaxing getaway in an amazing setting.

This small island provides guests with a magical quiet atmosphere, lovely vistas, and accommodating and kind staff. The breeze of this windward island is wonderful, and sometimes dramatic (at the top of the hill overlooking the Atlantic.) Morning tea with delicious cookies appear each morning at a chosen time. Privacy is assured by a raised red flag in the front of your cottage. All meals were delicious and included in the room charge. The rooms are kept clean by a meticulous crew. A Tobago Cays snorkeling day trip on the aptly named wooden sail boat, Beauty was a thrill. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the beach restaurant who worked hard to make our trip a delight.

I would suggest that you contact the resort directly. I visited many years ago and I know they will be able to assist you.
Hello
Be prepared for £40/£50 sterling for a bottle of average wine and about 5/6 US dollars for a beer. You could take a drop of Spirit with you if you wished. I know when you are thinking about booking it's nice knowing you have spent your cash and in your mind the rest is all pleasure!! We thought it would have been a good idea if PSV offered a drinks package as a supplement .
Going back to the wine we rather restricted ourselves to wine in the evening and a beer at lunch mostly but would have liked another at lunch possibly!!! I can more than afford it but you just seem to question yourself if it's necessary!!!!
Everything. else was very pleasant .
Enjoy.
