AMAZING view and a WONDERFUL service!! Appreciation and Thanks to the Owner, Sir Robin, the General manager, madam Kathrine, and our tour driver, Mr.Jun, and all the Marquis team. They took care of us from the moment we arrived until we left; always smiling, and super friendly team!! The food was Delicious, the dishes were very flavorful and fresh, with a variety of cuisines thus each day was a new dish and a new taste. The tour they offered is Amazing and covers most of the things to do in Bohol! The room we had was spacious with a view!! Honestly, the whole property is new and well located uphill thus it has a calm and breathtaking scenery. When we had any concerns we called or texted, and it would get fixed within a few. The resort is very unique, since it is located at a higher ground it offers a very good view of the sea. The resort also is very clean. The staff is very friendly and easy to approach. The food is great specially the fish and cheaps. Deffinitely worth the experience.

We arrived on Dec. 27 at Marqis Sunrise Sunset Resort just when the the sun was about to set. Marqis is highly recommended for honeymooners and for people who like peace and quiet. We stayed in one of its topmost villas, the Sylvia, where our cogon-roofed villa is partially wrapped by 2 balconies: one facing the sea and the nearby islands where you can watch the sunrise and sunset in their multicolored beauty. Because Marqis is surrounded by lush greenery, expect to hear crickets and find some mosquitoes around so bring some insect repellant with you. (Remember, you are in the tropics). What we did not expect when we turned off our lights to go to sleep was to see 4 fireflies dancing around the cogon ceiling of our room! It was really a pleasant surprise. The food is very good at Marqis Sunrise Sunset Resort. We tried their chicken Tikka masala ( must try!) and their fish and chips ( must try also; 5 stars to me as they use lapu-lapu fillets), their pizza is great, their pork sinigang in red soup ( first time we had red sinigang and it was very delicious)... I can go on an on with how much we enjoyed their baby back ribs, chicken halang halang... however, their breakfast is surprisingly so-so . The saving grace is their coffee but you have to specify that you want their real machine-made coffee, not the one from the stick. Some couples who were staying there rented a motorcycle to go around the tourist spots because Marqis is 2 kilometers away from the main road of Baclayon. Us? We rented a car because I am not comfortable on a motorcycle. At 3,000 per night for a spacious villa with 2 balconies, hot shower, aircon, a hair dryer, wonder-full views, delectable food, excellent customer service from the staff, my husband and I think Marqis Sunrise Sunset Resort is very good value. Again, highly recommended for honeymooners and for people who want peace and quiet when the day is over.…

A relaxing quiet and beautiful setting with amazing views. The rooms are all nicely finished, giving an up-market feel. This Resort also offers great food, which is the best I have experienced in Bohol, on my many trips there. Highly recommend resort. A 5-star experience. We had an excellent stay here in Marqis with my fiancee. Staffs are very accommodating and hospitable. The food is great and delicious. Also the view is so relaxing. A perfect spot to hang out and enjoy with your partner, family and friends. Surely, a must to go when you visit in Bohol.

A must visit place in Bohol. A 5-star experience. Nice ambiance, good environment and a very accommodating staff. Their food are all good and delicious 😋💯 the shuttle service was great and they have two infinity pools with a very nice view, wide space parking area, game room, nice restaurant and a bar and also the room very comfortable it's a 5-star experience when you visit here. The perfect place to hangout with family, friends and relatives. The place and scenery are all perfect for tranquil and relaxing experience. Highly commendable resort.

We had an excellent staycation at Marqis Resort. The owner is very hospitable and kind to assist and give the best comfort to all the clients. The restaurant served us sumptuous meals that deserves a 5 star rating and could be at par with international cuisine. The place and scenery are all perfect for tranquil and relaxing experience. The service of the staff and accommodation are all highly commendable as they treat their guests with utmost care and quality service. Surely, a must go to place when you get to Bohol. Will come back with family and friends again so that they can also experience a luxurious 5 Star vacation only in Marqis Sunrise Sunset Resort.
