This is a budget friendly hotel on the main street close to the ferry. Beds are comfortable, ac worked well and the staff are very nice. We did not have an ocean view room which is fine since we had a quiet back room. We were pleasantly surprised to have coffee and croissants delivered to our room the following morning. They allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel all day while we went to the beach.

Very good choice for staying the downtown area. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. We had an oceanview king room. Our balcony had two very comfortable chairs but the street noise was a bit overwhelming although expected. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. Water pressure was strong and plenty of hot water. Small refrigerator in the room was a nice plus. Very convenient to groceries and a 7-11 is next door for quick snacks and drinks. The pool area is very small with only a few chairs and surrounded by buildings so not a spot that lends itself to lounging. The price was excellent. I would not hesisitate to stay here again on a return trip.

When we arrived we were greeted by Coral who was lovely and helpful for our entire stay there. The rooms are beautiful and the balcony with the harbour view is Instagram worthy. Everything was excellent, this was probably the best shower and room we had in our entire trip in mexico. We got free coffee and croissants in the morning and we even got extra towels to use by the pool. We loved everyone who works there Coral, Tanya and the guy (I forgot his name, sorry). If we ever needed anything there was always someone there to help, we gave them our laundry and they also organised our dive trips for us. We did alot of diving there and everything was awesome. Thanks Vista Del Mar for such a lovely time in Cozumel 😍

Love that manager Aaron got back to us before arriving to offer direct rate better than on Booking.com AND ocean view. Sorry they seemed not able or willing to offer King bed and that the safe had been painted shut, requiring we take our valuables w/ us our 1st dive whilst they worked at making safe operable. Coffee and croissants, while okay for maybe 2 nights, got 'old'. That, lukewarm showers, walking up 4 floors ALL had husband eager to change hotels. IF you want great VIEWS at a wonderful rate, w/ pleasant and accomodating staff, THIS is a very good lodging choice.

My wife and I Just returned from an awesome stay at Vista Del Mar. We stayed for nine nights (Oct 27th - Nov 5th, 2021) Our first time staying in town. We have been to Cozumel 7 times and have stayed in the North and South hotels. We were very happy with our choice! Coral and Aaron and the whole hotel staff go out of their way to take care of all of your needs. We loved the convenience and simplicity of this hotel. They are located 8 minutes from the airport. We were in our room within minutes after landing. They have a fresh cold 5 gallon water dispenser in the lobby that you can refill your water bottles throughout your stay. They offer coffee/tea with fresh rolls with butter and jam brought to your room daily a time that you choose. The daily maid service was outstanding. There is a small private pool out back on the second level. Nothing too fancy, but great for chilling out with a few drinks and taking a nice dip in a freshwater pool. It was great to explore all of the wonderful restaurants and bars of downtown Cozumel all within walking distance from the hotel. Our ocean view room was spectacular! I would not hesitate to check this hotel. The service and cost can't be beat. If you are looking for an all inclusive, tons of ammentities type of hotel you will need to check elsewhere. This is a very simple, clean, safe, friendly hotel located in the heart of downtown. We are already planning our next trip and will be staying at Vista Del Mar.…

We just spent ten wonderful days here in Cozumel. Over the years we've come to this great island and have stayed at many different places, but this was our first time staying at the Vista Del Mar. This place is located right on Rafael Melgar adjacent to the Aqua Safari boat pier, and is very convenient to the numerous little eateries around the area. They have several ocean view rooms, some with king size beds and others with two queen beds. Being right on the "main drag" along the seawall you can get a little street noise from down below, but it mostly dies down after about 9:00pm. We never had a hard time sleeping. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the parade out front, either sipping coffee in the morning or a beer at night. The hotel manager, Coral Espadad and her staff took excellent care of us, brought coffee and pastries every morning at whatever time we specified, and they even arranged for our COVID tests before going home. Not fancy, but a GREAT little 'Boutique Hotel,' especially for the price. We will stay there when we return in June!…

My room was a harbour view and its worth a little extra to watch all the activity there. I also want to mention the attention to detail paid by the housekeeping staff, every day a new animal made from towels!! Thanks, Cora,l for a great experience!

This hotel has been fantastic. The staff welcomed us with Coronas (or waters) at check in, and have checked to see if we wanted coffee brought to the room each morning. They have all been super friendly and helpful, and even left me a cute little towel cake with flowers on my bed for my birthday. The room has been cleaned each day while we are out. The view ocean view room is amazing. AC works really well. The only slight negative is the street noise can be a little loud during busy times, but closing the metal patio doors helps. Definitely recommend and would stay here again

This is my wife and I's go to hotel for Cozumel. The price is right and the views and location can not be beat. The manager "Coral" is awesome. Coffee and cakes every morning along with a smile. Do not let the low price keep you from booking. Definitely a diamond in the rough. The pic is a view we have every day.

Stayed here for 5 days in September of 2020, The Hotel is Clean and Staff Very Friendly and Coffee delivered to room every morning, it is located within walking distance to everything in San Miguel, 3 blocks from the square and only a couple blocks to grocery stores and walking distance to several Restaurants, would stay here again.
