Please be wary of booking this hotel! They are extremely aggressive in their tone and refuse to accommodate guests. I had an emergency and wasn’t able to check into my room. I tried to contact them multiple times to cancel my booking before the check-in time, and they ignored my calls. I also tried to email and message them after the check in time to even receive a partial refund. They intentionally waited until after my reservation was completed to let me know that they would not be able to help me as the reservation had passed, and were extremely unkind in their response. Do not book this hotel. They care more about making a quick buck than being empathetic and human to a customer’s concern. They will not help you if you have an emergency, and will be happy to take your money even if they did not render any service.

Very nice, clean, beautiful little place with big spacious apartments! Pool in compound too! Staff very friendly and attentive answering all our questions and requests with breakfast (included). Parking available in front of building. Kitchen has everything to cook yourself. Showerhead upstairs in room 3 is not spectacular but showers fine. Showergel/shampoo is lovely, plenty towels available, also pooltowels. Great place!

Villa is nice .. staff is exceptional.. when an issue arrives they are very quick to fix any problem..villa is large enough and comfortable.. breakfast supplied is great yet simple .. no complaints for this place ... except if you are light sleepers or have children who dont sleep well with noise...there is a pub just up the street who plays serious loud bands on fri sat sun .. there will be no sleeping at that point .. also to be aware there is a fire station right next door ... however they were never an issue .. the seams on the doors and windows have no seal nor sound barrier so it's as though you are directly outside at all times .. very very noisy inside villa ..would I stay again..for location yes .. for staff yes ..for noise ...NO!

Will never book here again. If you like to go to bed before 2AM then this may not be the place for you. It is located right next to a Fire Station and a night bar that plays bands on Fri, Sat Sun (sometimes as early as Wed) starting from 11PM-2AM. The music is so loud that even with ear plugs it's difficult to fall asleep. Alarms from nearby stores going off at all hours of the night. Had we known it was going to be this noisy, would have never booked. Hardly felt like a vacation. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the onsite staff was great. We had a few problems throughout our stay which they resolved fairly quickly.

Aside from the hummingbird mural painted on the outer stucco walls, this place is fairly unassuming. But when you walk through the (passcode protected) entryway, it's like that scene from 'Wizard of Oz' when everything turns to color. If I'm not mistaken, there are eight units tucked away in this little tropical paradise. Some are three bedroom while others are four. (Our unit had three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.) In each unit: full kitchen, dining room and living area with couches and chairs. Not to mention, the master bedroom features a small outside balcony with table and chairs. Want to lounge outside your front door? You can hook up a hammock, or sit in one of the chairs and watch the two cats on the property, or the occasional hummingbird. Or just read to your heart's content. A light breakfast is provided each morning — pastries, coffee and juices — in an outdoor cafe setting. Villas Colibri also features a moderately sized pool, for folks who don't want to trek elsewhere to get wet. Thankfully, this place is smoke-free. Villas Colibri isn't exactly off the beaten path — it sits near a fire station and amongst several retail stores and eateries — it is a five-minute drive to the main shoreline avenue, where thousands of cruise-goers hang out for hours on end taking free tequila shots and looking for Mexican tchotchke to take back home. In other words, if you want a really good taco that's made for locals, there are three joints within a two-minute walk. There is also a convenience store around the corner for your beer, soda and snack desires. Not only are these businesses patronized by residents, they are actually priced for residents. That leads me to the only real negative about this place. While you are secluded, there is the occasional noise of traffic that bleeds through the walls and palm cover. During our week there, the fire station next door also received a few emergency calls. Not a big deal. Villas Colibri is smack dab in the middle of town, after all. Finally, I cannot say enough about the crew working here. Everyone is polite and eager to help in any way possible, including snagging us a few cabs and making reservations for a chocolate-making class.
