Sun Moon Lake Hot Spring Hotel has hot springs in the room, but it’s a pity that it’s just an ordinary bathtub, not a stone one. The water is still a little hot The room and bathroom are very spacious, and the supplies include Sun Moon Lake red vegetables and a teapot for making tea. The hotel has a long dinner and dinner time, so you can enjoy it slowly. There are many dishes, including the sashimi, seafood, crab and shrimp, etc., salads, cooked food area, snack area, blanched vegetables and fresh vegetables, etc. are basically all there. Steak, but the two steak knives I took were both blunt and could not be cut properly. The ice cream was Mofanbi.
The hotel arranged a guided tour of the Maolu Mountain Trail in the morning, but it was raining, so we didn’t go there. The hotel facilities also include swimming pools, gyms, KTV, etc., but I did not go there

We only stayed at the Fuli Hot Spring for one night, but we got a good overview of everything. We had to change rooms straight away because it was at the end of the corridor next to a very loud ventilation/exhaust air system that you could always hear from the room. Changing rooms went smoothly. The rooms are very worn and do not seem well maintained. Definitely not 4 star standard. Positive. The minibar is included. The pool was disappointing, rather small, and located behind the house. In addition to loud noises from the exhaust air, the lifeguard played music in the pool, which was terrible. There are no locker rooms or changing rooms, you have to do it in the shower. The breakfast was a disaster: the restaurant was dirty, lots of dust on visible surfaces, dirty food containers and the visible kitchen area also seemed unhygienic. The service was a bit too present, you felt like you were being watched. The bike rental was a bit complicated, contrary to what was signposted, we had to search for a long time. The bikes were in poor condition, as was the helmet. The declarations we had to sign (6 pages) were not in English, only in Mandarin. That's not acceptable. The massage was good, but there was no communication or introduction, neither in Mandarin nor in English. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

The room facilities are pretty good, such as the softness of the bed, the size of the room, and the lighting design. However, the door is old and doesn't seem to be very soundproof. You can hear people walking around outside. The hot spring pool in the room is large and great, but the hot water output is a bit small. The toilet also has a flush toilet, and the bathroom has enough water, but the water on the floor can easily overflow outside, making the outside of the bathroom wet. There are also entertainment facilities in the basement, which are quite good.
Overall, it's pretty good, but the biggest drawback is that neither dinner nor breakfast tastes good... The beef slices were cut too long, some items had no flavor, and the shrimps were not very fresh. It cost more than 7,000 but has no such value.

This hotel is situated about a five minute walk to eateries and shopping . Although it does not offer any Great Lake views , it more than make up for it by the onsen tubs and rooms facilities . We were given an upgrade to the family suite . Loved this room . There was a sitting area with free biscuits and jello followed by two king size beds with a big tv screen in front that screened free movies . Good choice of movies . Then there was the next room which was the bathroom with the huge onsen that could comfortably sit four people , vanity area , shower area and WC . There was also a big dressing area that housed the safe and fridge that had soft drinks and mineral water. All for free. Simply loved the space. Free Wifi was fast. The pools out side had three hot jacuzzi pills as well as a swimming pool . Breakfast was great with a good choice of Taiwanese and western breakfast . There was also a shop at the lobby selling souvenirs. Will definitely return .

It is disappointing to go expecting an elegant resort hotel. A family hotel with a folksy atmosphere. I had to lower my blinds while using it in a room with a view of the road outside from the bathroom. Sun Moon Lake was completely invisible. During my stay, there was an earthquake and the frames on the walls fell down, which scared me. I was a little worried because there was no in-house broadcast. The only good thing was the pool. I got a little taste of the resort atmosphere.

Fabulous stay. Georgous grounds and pool area. Pool has restricted hours midday (why?) but hot tubs remain open and such a soothing envoronment. Staff was unbelievably gracious, wanting to please, always smiling. Melinda especially helpful as a fluent English speaker, shi shi. Breakfsat is a grand spread, just wish there was more fruit. We look forward to another stay. Thank you for a memorable experience.

We stayed here as a family of 3 in a room with two double beds. The hotel is modern and the pool area is great for kids and a had a small hot spring area. It’s in a good location, within walking distance to restaurants and shops and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay there. The receptionist was friendly and saw that we had kids. Hence, they provided us with overwhelming information for us to keep our kids entertained during our stay. Going the extra mile, they also gave us rooms on the same floor beside each other which I appreciated.
The facilities were terrific, and there are countless things to do, such as Karaoke, chess room and gaming area. Even though some are currently unavailable, but that is inevitable. These are some relatively uncommon facilities, at least for me.
It is a great place to unwind and be away from all worries temporarily. I would return when the opportunity arises.

My girlfriend and I went to Fuli Hotspring Hotel, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and its serenity, and of course we loved the service they provided.
The hotel is very new, just opened in 2016, and so everything was nice and new.
We used the gaming room to play Wii, enjoyed the hotspring and the food, and just enjoyed every second here.
The restaurant provides buffet, and if you like, you should definitely try the roast beef.
The location is also very convenient, so I would high recommend this hotel to any visitor.

A low density hotel where you don't get swamped with tourists. Hot tub in the room is a blessing after long outdoor activities around the lake. As there wasn't much entertainment outlets in the surrounding area, those blue-ray DVDs in the room entertainment system were great.
