Taiwan > Tainan > Liuying > Sinying District
This district is the busiest transport hub in northern Tainan. Sinyin encompasses several shopping districts such as Mincyuan Road where you can both satisfy your taste buds and quench your shopping desires. Across from the Minjhih Civic Centre, not only is Nanying Green Park the green lung of the city, but also the important base for cultural and creative industry. Not far from the park, the sugar railways are situated.
They have become very popular tourist attractions in which the public can experience a rare way to travel. Nearby Yanshuei District used to be the fourth largest city in early Taiwan history, so the alleys and lanes are abundant with historical buildings. Each year the Taiwanese-style “beehive” firecracker extravaganza kicks off on the night of the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. For visitors to appreciate Taiwanese style at a higher level, the Yanshuei Catholic Church even collects the “Last Supper” in the form of mural with a Taiwanese touch, vividly illustrating how Western culture is perfectly integrated with local tradition. Liouying is Taiwan’s top milk producing district. It produces a high amount of dairy produce and also pays respects to cows. Next to the windmill in the beautiful Deyuanpi Holland Village, a cowshed has been especially built sheltering aging and retired cows.
